Great Location
Great location and great condo. The only negative is if you want to ski the day you leave, you have to get up early, clean out, and drive the key back to the management office downtown, then hope you can find parking somewhere in one of the public ski parking lots. It would have been nice if we could have kept the car in the parking garage of the place we stayed at and had the management company have a person pick up the key from us, or some other way we wouldn't have to move the car in the morning.

A home in the mountains
It was our first time to Mammoth Lakes and we wanted to stay near enough to the lakes, hiking trails and the town, all while feeling at home. This apartment was perfect for all of that.
It’s beautifully decorated, spacious and cozy and the balcony was a great place to sit and relax before and after the day began.
Would recommend this place to friends/family and would stay here again.

Juniper Springs Lodge #539 Experience!
We love renting this unit every year. It is spacious and well stocked. The location of the lodge is perfect for all the activities in the local Mammoth Village area, as well as the mountain. We like that it is set a bit apart from the more crowded areas of the town.
The dishwasher in this unit has a door that could use some repair. It has been this way for as long as we can remember. The bottom rack comes off the track very easily when it is opened. Also, there were a number of lounge chairs by the pool that were damaged and torn, reducing the number of useable chairs.
Overall, it is a wonderful place to stay!
Thanks!

Beautiful Condo a Five-Minute Walk from the Slopes!
Loved this condo! Spacious in every way, except the kitchen counter space was limited. Otherwise, no complaints at all. Beautiful, and also so conveniently located to Eagle Lodge. It was nice to have a storage locker for our skis.

Perfect condo in every way!
This condo was fabulous and the decor was so lovely and cozy. The unit was so clean and immaculate, and the kitchen had everything we needed. My kids loved the twin over queen bunk bed, and the master bed was very very comfortable. There were so many extra pillows and comforters which I really appreciated! My teenage son slept on the pullout couch and loved how comfortable the memory foam mattress was! The fact that this condo is on the top floor of the resort is a bonus because of the great views. We have stayed at Juniper Springs resort many times and love the location! The ski in and ski out has really spoiled us :) We would definitely stay at this condo again!

Very happy with our stay here during COVID-19
This was our first road trip since coronavirus started, and I was very pleased and felt safe during our visit. Signs around the building clearly posted that masks were required to enter, and most people we saw followed the rules. In order to maintain distance, we did not use the pool, but it was open. Contact-less check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The condo is just as it appears in the photos. I was also grateful for the additional unexpected touches, like finding 2 humidifiers in the closet, and the family boardgames. Would stay here again.

Good room BUT...
Here's the letter I wrote to the owner of this unit (which never received a response):
Dear Owner of unit 539,
We have enjoyed your unit. It is spacious and comfortable and love the decor (my mom is from Grand Island)!
BUT...
The pool heater is broken and has been broken our entire stay - Saturday the 24th through Tuesday the 27th (today). This was a huge disappointment for our family. This is half of our annual vacation and we and our kids LOVE to swim. We look forward to it so much and have been talking about our Mammoth trip ever since I booked our stay. This is our 3rd stay in Mammoth as a family. We stayed twice before at the Monache and swam morning and evening all our days there. This year we went in the jacuzzi together...but it's just not the same. The rep I spoke with at Mammoth Sierra (Joanna) said it was out of her control, and I know that's true. However, to have an ice cold pool at a resort for 4-plus days seems unfair to patrons, especially when we paid about $300/night (plus fees).
I hope to hear back from you. Thank you for your attention.
_______
The owner never responded to this email, but even more frustrating was that the people at the hotel front desk and also the rep at the property management company didn't care in the least! This is the downside of renting through HomeAway, VRBO and the like. If we had been guests paying the hotel directly I would have asked the manager for some compensation (and likely have received it). The rep from the property management company told me that people were still going in the pool, and I agreed that a pair of 10-year old boys seemed undeterred. We go to Mammoth a lot but Juniper Springs will NOT get our repeat business. Take our advice and stay at the Monache. Same cost but the upkeep and service are far superior.

Just like living in someone's winter home...
My family enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day weekend. The condo was well furnished, clean, and fun for the kids (Wii, board games, etc.). More than enough room for my family of 5. We also enjoyed the resort's pool and hot tubs. I would definitely rent this unit again. My only regret is that the chair lift next to this resort was closed for the season (it closed in April). But the drive to the main lodge is not too far. This place is perfect given the location is next to the chair lift...you can literally ski into the resort.

Excellent accommodations! We stay in this room every summer!
This unit works perfectly for our family of five, including three teenage sons. We have our own separate bedroom and the boys have a room with the option of a couch sleeper for our oldest son. The unit is clean, there are laundry facilities just down the hall, which we always use. The unit is spaciously arranged so that we are all together, but do not feel cramped. There is a great assortment of movies and games. The pool area is wonderful with a perfect amount of sun and shade options. There could be more lounge chairs provided for the enjoyment of the summer guests, since they tend to get taken quickly. There are three jacuzzi options, a game room and outside barbecues available for cooking your own lunches or dinners. The lodge is quiet and somewhat out of the way, but close to the village. We hope to return year after year! We feel very "at home" in this unit!

Fine property
This was a decent condo in Juniper Springs Resort. The unit was pretty nice, though somewhat dated: there were music players with first-generation iPod docks, for instance. Those are basically unusable at this point and should be updated to something with Bluetooth. I was also frustrated by the fact that they have manual keys that had to be picked up at the office. They should switch to a lock with keypad, like many other vacation rentals I've used.
Juniper Springs is a convenient location for skiing, but you need to go elsewhere for any food or drink. Kind of frustrating. I will stay in the Village next time.

Juniper Springs Lodge #539-3rd stay in this unit & 4th in lodge
We had a wonderful time on our third summer weeklong stay in this unit. It is well equipped and spacious for our tall family of five. However, the first day, the fire alarm went off multiple times (someone burned food and it set off the smoke alarms), however, when people evacuated quietly, there was no instruction from the front desk or in the lobby on what to do. No one took charge of the situation. My sons were somewhat panicked because they didn't know what was happening and other people with younger children were given no guidance. It was disturbing. Also, the pool hours were later in the morning than they have been in the past so we had to swim our laps off site. The pool was also very cold. Other than that, we had a good time at Juniper Springs Lodge. Thanks.
