Great house! Spacious. Feels like home! Love the location!

This heritage house is massive and very well located to explore the Lachine Canal as well as the surrounding area, including downtown Montreal (20 mins) or the west Island (10-15 mins).

This was a great find for a place to stay outside of downtown Montreal. Enough restaurants within walking distance. Great walking path along the water as well! Very clean place and owner very responsive. Highly recommended! Would love to stay here again.

The home was absolutely beautiful and even bigger than expected. It seemed well maintained and the property owner was extremely responsive and communicative. The surrounding area was charming and beautiful if a little sleepy, with plenty of restaurants and amenities within walking distance. If you're looking for something in a relatively quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a great place for you. It was about 30 mins by car from downtown Montreal, with easy access to bike trails (and rental bikes) if you prefer to commute by two wheels!
This was our first time in Montreal but it definitely won't be the last!!

We wanted a location close to the river and bike/walking/restaurants. This place was ideal for all our outdoor activities.
We took an Uber to downtown Montreal and the old port. The ride was approximately 30 min.
The house was clean and extremely spacious. Parking was easiest across the street.
Host is extremely helpful.
We highly recommend this VRBO.

We had a great trip. House was as advertised. The location is quiet, but you can easily walk to many restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Also, the property owner was very responsive.

We spent a girl's weekend in Montreal. This home allowed all six to have their own bedroom. Charming home in a great location along a waterfront trail. 25 minute Uber ride into downtown Montreal. Because it is such a large house, it did get a bit warm, even with the air conditioners running so we all slept with our doors open. It was still a great stay and everything you need is there, from dishes to linens and even a Nespresso machine with pods, which was a lovely touch. Vlad, the owner, is immediately responsive to messages. Great time.

The space is actually more spacious than the pictures! My husband and I stayed here over our wedding weekend, joined by my parents for a couple of nights, and I stayed alone with a few bridesmaids the eve of the wedding. The house couldn’t have been more perfect for getting ready, and a huge bonus was being able to bring our dog - who the location was also perfect for, right across from the park + water. Would totally recommend!

Place was great. Clean and specious. Very conveniently located. 20 min drive to most of the popular destinations. Would stay again

I stayed with my sister, her kids, and their friends. It was a great place with PLENTY of room. When the kids wanted to play video games we were able to send them upstairs and not be disturbed. Great location with lots of things within walking distance. Vlad was very responsive and checked in on us several times via messages. Even the beds were comfortable, which isn't always the case. The only suggestion I have would be to put curtains up in the bedroom doors that are windowed. It would provide a bit more privacy. Other than that, great experience and wonderful stay!

There were 4 couples and we each had our own room with a queen bed. The house was very large and the bathrooms and kitchen were very nice. Vlad was very nice and helpful. He was always very quick to respond to me. We loved the location of the house and taking walks by the water. Everything was perfect!

This house was perfect for us. Super clean, comfortable beds, and great seating area in living room. Convenient location to drive to downtown Montreal. Loved having coffee on the front porch with a view of the river. We would stay again.

My middle-age friends and I stayed here for a weekend for my bachelorette party. The townhouse is spacious, clean & beautiful! It is within walking distance to the river and many restaurants.
Downtown Montreal is about a 20 minute drive, but there is a lot to do and see in this area.
We all really enjoyed the Taormina Lounge for dinner which is about a 5 minute walk. Tell Vito the middle-age bachelorette party girls from Boston highly recommended his restaurant!

A group of us traveled up to Montreal for the Islanders hockey game and stayed here. The house was perfect with enough room for everyone and the host was in constant contact to make sure we had a great weekend and didn’t need anything. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Montreal area.

Vlad is an amazing host and the place looks just like the pictures! We were two families with teenage kids and had plenty of space to spread out and come together!

We enjoyed our staying in this house for one night. House has 6 bedrooms on 3 floors in a renovated old house. The house is well kept. One parking spot at back of the unit is convenient. Kitchen has basic supplies but without a wine opener and a decent knife.

The house was beautiful with large rooms, high ceilings and lovely modern renovated kitchen as well as bathrooms. It was perfect for our family who were in Lachine to attend a wedding nearby. We were kept busy during our stay and would have liked to spend more time enjoying the parkland next to the lake which was just across the road from us. Perhaps we'll get back some day to do this. Vlad, our host, responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had and was very welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Definitely plenty of space, and so unique in decorations. We loved the park, and that in itself is worth a visit!

We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay here! Lachine is a lovely and very walkable area, and the house itself had all the amenities and comforts we needed. I would recommend having a transportation plan if you want to go downtown or to old Montreal. Uber will pick up here but can be expensive.

Excellent location right in historic Lachine by the river. Wonderful rooms, very spacious. Everything was clean. Location was very quiet. Restaurants and cafe in walking distance.

This was an amazing property to stay in for our group of 10. Large rooms and very cozy. Really nice location along the waterfront and is just a short drive to Downtown Montreal. Vlad, the host, was very communicative during our stay, making sure we had what we needed. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Time
We had a wonderful time during our stay in Montreal at this property. The house is quite large as it has 6 bedrooms four of which are as big as an average living room. There are three floors plus a finished attic with a couch and a TV up there. I would be great for kids to watch TV or play video games. There are two full remodel the bathrooms one on the 2nd and one on the 3rd floor as well as a half bath on the 1st. The kitchen is fully remodeled. There is parking for one car behind the building. One particular part of the property my family and I enjoyed was the porch and the front which had several chairs as we were able to enjoy some Dairy Queen from down the street and say hello to folks as they walked by. It is an older home and does not have central air but there are air conditioning units on the 2nd and 3rd floor plus a unit in the attic area. The unit on the second floor did not work during out stay. Thankfully the weather was comfortable while were staying there.
The location is great for anything on the West Island as well as quick access to downtown. The home sits right off the lake and there are plenty of areas to walk to. There is a Tim Horton's you can walk to in about 5 minutes and a great Mexican restaurant just a few blocks down as well as the previous mentioned Dairy Queen which are just a few of the place you can visit on foot. The waterfront area is a large park with some free parking as well as a great number of spots you can walk, jog, or ride a bike.
The owner Vlad is a really nice guy. He checked in on us several times to see how we were doing and even stopped by one time to say hi. I could definitely see us staying there again in the future.

The Wilson Family vacation in Lachine, Montreal.
The property was a beautifully restored home, in a historic area. It is across the street from parks, walking, biking trails.
Walking distance to fine dining, ice cream, Gelato and sandwich shops
We had 9 in our party, 2 teens,1 child, and 6 adults. With 6 bedrooms, it was nice to have our own spaces and family gathering areas. We all recommend that you stay there.
Thankyou to our host Vlad, he was most helpful and welcoming.

My family came up for a funeral, and we stayed a week. It was a beautiful home and very comfortable for us. With so much room we enjoyed having separate places for the kids and the adults during the day, with a lovely shared dinners and TV watching at night. Great water pressure in the showers (and hot!). Owner was SO responsive—very nice to deal with. I imagine this is an AMAZING spot during the summer and spring when you can make use of the park. Nice bike path. Grocery store and restaurants very close. The one downside is that the kitchen isn’t as stocked as you’d like. Thankfully I brought what I thought would be critical needs like a can opener and my favorite knife, so life was easy. If you plan to cook meals for a large group, do come prepared to being what you need with you until they’re able to build up supplies. Highly recommend.
