Classic and comfortable in the style of a vintage mountain cabin, this lofty condo at Horizons 4 offers easy access to Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and fantastic amenities for you to enjoy at home. After a day spent in the midst of spectacular mountain scenery, you can play a game of billiards in the community rec room, take a refreshing swim in the seasonal outdoor pool, or soak in the hot tub in preparation for the next day's adventures. Inside this casual alpine condo, you'll find a living room with a flatscreen TV, a fully appointed kitchen and dining space, as well as access to a private balcony where you can breathe in the pine-scented air. When it's time to go out, you'll find both Eagle Lodge and Mammoth Village just over a mile west. THINGS TO KNOW The internet in this area is unreliable. This home does not allow early check-in. Please remember to bring your pool towels, we only provide regular towels for your stay. While pots and pans are available for use, as a safety precaution, consumables such as oil, spices, and coffee are not provided. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 2. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We loved the loft setup. Plenty of beds for all the kids! Clean and comfortable unit. Hot water and heat worked well. Kitchen had everything we needed. Walking distance to Vons.

We have three kids, and had an in law family with two kids who had a bad experience with there rental who came to stay with us for a night. It was comfortable and fun for all of us to bet together in this cozy cabin. it was clean, and we had everything we needed. Great stay!

In general the property is confortable a couple of minor issues but nothing to be consider a deal breaker. Clean place with enough stuff to pass a good weekend. No inernet and no TV but if you are on vacation no need of them.

Only downside was that internet never worked while we were there.

So many issues with this property! The master bedroom window is broken and the room was freezing. The wifi does not work/ no one knows the network/password. The dishwasher floods the condo when it is run. The stove burners do not work. When you run the oven it short circuits the entire condo. The kitchen is lacking cookware and dishes/cups/mugs. The coffee maker is broken. I called customer service repeatedly and was told someone was coming to fix all the things, but no one came. Truly disappointing.

The condo had basic items but 2 of the electric range didn’t work and the bathroom was surrounded by black mold. Please bleach the caulking or replace before someone like my kids with asthma get sick.

We were a bit worried because some of the reviews were pretty bad. But it looks like the owner and property manager addressed all concerns and complaints expressed by the reviewers. We had a very good time. There are two things we would like to see improve if possible. The first one is the replacement of mattresses of twin beds in the loft. There are too soft and bad for our backs. The second one is a small water boiler. We could not use the two bathrooms at the same time. I think the small boiler is ok. But the mattresses should be definitely replaced. This was our second time to use this property. We are thinking about booking this property again next December.

BAD! AVOID! Don`t trust amenities they listed!
Two important keys for me to choose a place to book are: CLEANLINESS and INTERNET.
They have neither. The owner event cancel the internet almost a year before I stayed and yet they still listed as they have internet access.
As for cleancliness, I found medicines on the floor where the nightstand is and dark mold inside the bathroom where the sealer is. Traveling with 2 kids (4 and 5) to stay here is a nightmare. I keep afraid they might pick up some medicine or trash lurking somewhere inside the house.

Two issues couldn`t get solved on the same day, had to wait til.the next morning to get fixed. The other issue the turnkey manager helped me solve the problem, which shouldn`t have been an issue if the keys for the condo would have been put back in the right spot. They where always quick at responding back which is a plus. Also the condo was pretty clean, except the two rotten pumpkins under one of the beds in the loft. Couldn`t figure out where the smell was from, so I started moving the beds and found them. Not sure if I will rent this condo again, just based on having to deal with issues every day.

Confusing rental we thought we were renting through VRBO but apparently we were renting through TurnKey so it felt like we were paying dbl the fees. Signs in the condo were conflicting and so we had to call Turnkey several times to find out about parking permits and key to laundry and hot tub

Pros: Great 5 star location that was close to everything we needed! Condo was spacious, clean, had ample sleeping areas and eating areas. Cons: There were only 3 spoons, 3!The Wifi internet did not work at all. Called for help and when help arrived the next day we were told `It`s a public wifi` and it could not be resolved which was unexpected and impacted our after skiing in home entertainment (especially for the teenagers). The overhead heat fan in the bathrooms did not work which was disappointing.The couches were comfortable but could have used one more seat for a group of 5.Overall, our stay was very good but we had minor amenity issues that are easily resolvable. 3 1/2 stars.Next time will bring a hotspot and spoons!

Called for help and when help arrived the next day we were told `It`s a public wifi` and it could not be resolved which was unexpected and impacted our after skiing in home entertainment (especially for the teenagers). The overhead heat fan in the bathrooms did not work which was disappointing.
The couches were comfortable but could have used one more seat for a group of 5.

We were party of 8 adults and stayed here for 4 nights and these were what we experienced: Good: - very convenient location; short walk to the mall with Vons and bus stop - Bad: - they only had 4 sets of towels (bath towel and wash cloth, no face towel). They also had two small nasty brown stained towels. We highly recommend you bring your own towels! - they instructed us to put the towels in the washing machine but there was no washing machine in the unit - They has two toilets with two rolls of toilet papers and one extra roll. We asked for more but the management office told us to get our own. You may want to bring your own rolls too. - they only had two spoons (one large and one small) so we had to buy plastic spoons - all the plates were chopped and there were no wine glasses in case you plan to bring wines
