View and Far Between is located in an older facility but located within walking distance of downtown Bend. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and had a great view of the river. It was not a first floor unit but that was fine with us. It had everything we needed for our stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

This seems to be an old apartment complex - thumping neighbors above walking around. No elevator, climbing steep stairs with luggage was not fun. The bed and pillows were lumpy, the sheets and covers were pretty old and used. Pulling the shower control on was a chore. They painted, new counter tops, but it still smelled old. Sorry for the negative review but future renters need to know and if none of the above bothers you - go for it.

Great location, slightly dated facility.

Only complaint is that the hottub jets need fixed. Converted two hotel rooms into a small condo setup.

I don’t like giving a bad review, but here’s what happened:
I checked in with no problems and noticed, right away, a chemical smell. I contacted the manager and told him I thought someone had smoked in the place and that they tried to cover it up with some chemical. He said, proudly, that it was Ozium that he used and that there was no odor. There WAS and odor and it stung my eyes so much that I found another rental the next morning after being denied another unit that didn’t smell.
Sometimes you get a bad deal. I’m really surprised that I only saw a few other reviews that mentioned the smell.
Anyway, I can’t recommend this place. Sorry.

Area was central to lots of stores and restaurants. Love the view of the little waterfall. The white noise of the falls was very relaxing. We enjoyed our time/little getaway to the Bend area.

I have a 3 and a 1 year old and this was the first time I’ve taken a trip completely alone since they were born so I was excited for some relaxing time to myself to recharge.
Positives: Quiet location, good view, loved the walking path along the river, hot tub was relaxing, condo was clean, well decorated, comfortable. Love the key code entry so no keys to worry about.
Not so positives: When I arrived, the condo I was in is a combo 220/221 and there was a door and key code to each unit number so I was a little thrown off if I was in the right spot. The door on one unit said dam pretty view as the name of the condo but when I booked they referred to it at view and far between, so I was even more thrown off. I got in at 9 pm so office was closed but I called their after hours line for assistance, they said they sent a message but I never heard anything back. So I just decided to try the key code hoping I was right and not scaring the crap out of someone inside being so late. It worked and it was all fine after that but I’m annoyed that no one ever called me back to address my concern or make sure I got in ok.
The carpet could stand to be cleaned or updated, it looks stained and dated.
There were no pot holders to take anything hot out of the oven.
I wanted to curl up on the couch with a blanket but there was absolutely no extra blankets or throws of any kind so I ended up buying one. (There was SO many towels though so if you want new towels each day they’ve got you covered)
I’d probably stay there again for something similar.

Not worth the price. It was a fine rental but the smell was not ok, kind of like a wet dog. We had to buy candles to help mask it. Siding work was being done outside our patio the whole time. We were told it would be painting. We were woken with hammering at 9am. They offered a refund for 24 hour cancelation but we not informed in time to cancel. When I messaged the management they just argued with me, never addressed the smell and I'm still waiting for an unsatisfactory 20% refund.

Our stay was very pleasant. The check-in and check-out process could not have been easier. The rooms are clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. The furniture is clean, a few pieces are on the older side, but quite functional.

I stayed here for a week, while in town for business. Great location, right by the river. I enjoyed coming back at the end of the day to relax on the patio with a glass of wine and the beautiful view and sounds of the river. Clean and updated nicely. No iron or ironing board. So be sure to bring a travel steamer.
