My overall stay was ok, could be much more comfortable. I was welcomed by a nice, warm & very friendly housekeeper, Queeini. She made my 10 day stay in check & comfortable knowing she’s there if I needed an extra towel, toilet paper etc.
Queeini even helped me with finding out why my shower pressure was weak. Unfortunately changes in the water pressure stood the same.
So on that note...I just have one complaint about Rm. 643 North Tower & that is the water pressure from the shower could be Much, MUCH Stronger. My previous stays were exceptionally on point!
The Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto has been my go-to hotel for the past 3 years. I loved the location, the convenience of the subway, surrounding shops & restaurant.
Moving forward, it may affect my decision whether I should choose a more modern hotel like the W Hotel, for the next time I visit Toronto.

The staff was excellent, it was clean throughout but the sounds around were sadly awful! Outside noise/window was as if the window was open, we heard talking yelling of every passerby. The closing of hotel rooms down our hall we heard clear as day- the latching of the locks on door was so loud. The acoustics and walls were terrible. We did not get a goods night rest here. Ending on a good note I guess, the breakfast and dinner(what we ordered here) food was good!

We stayed in Courtyard by Marriott hotels several times in different cities. The level of services is appropriate for price. We liked the Bistro in this one in Toronto. The food is very well prepared and the staff is very friendly and professional as well as the hotel staff.

I was very disappointed in my stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Toronto. When I arrived I was told there was no valet parking available for my vehicle. The only parking available was in the adjacent public parking lot and that required that I get up the following morning at 6am to put more money in the meter. This unfortunately is what I had to do. This disruption ruined my stay for a 55 year anniversary from my graduation from dentistry. While the hotel was very apologetic about the situation, I was left on my own to deal with the issue. I certainly wil not use the Marriot chain again.

Everything was great from the moment we arrived until the moment we had to say goodbye.

You could stay for the same price (or less) at a hotel nearby with a pool.
I paid almost $400 a night, it only included parking. They offered breakfast, but it was either parking or breakfast. At that cost I paid to stay one night, it was funny that both were not included.
The only positive about this hotel is its location...it is very close to the Eaton Centre (if that is your thing).
I will not be returning.

Loved my stay there! My room was cleaned everyday and the sheets changed. Also I forgot my headphones and went back to get them. The staff at the front desk were so helpful and were able to retrieve it from my room.

My daughter and I had a great time staying at Courtyard. We are there visiting colleges. Great location, great services, comfortable room and lovely cafe/bar!

We found it odd that the sink is separate from the toilet and shower/bath. Just different I guess.
We booked one night then changed our trip to 2 nights. The hotel had two separate bookings but hotel.com had the modified correct one so I’m anxious to see what my credit bill looks like. I’m confident hotels.com got it right but if not I’ll be in touch.

Right away, impressed with the staff, very friendly, helpful and informative.
Nice size room with comfy beds.
Centrally located, plenty around to see and do by foot or short cab/UBER ride.

Just ok for a short stay.
There was no recycling bins or multi use beverage cups. The sink and water closet were on opposite sides of the room, and the sink had no soap (making post-washroom hand washing complicated) and the spare toilet paper was stored across the room under the sink. Little details that could be improved for drastic change.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable, only problem I had was there was no bell man to help my partner and I with all our bags and toddler stuff .

Shower took 10 minutes to get hot.

My wife and I liked this Hotel very much. I don’t know why, but we had issues with the hot water at night when we got back from the city. They even sent a guy to the room to “fix it” to no avail.
I don’t know if they turn it off at night because they assume no one would be using it at those hours or what.
Every thing else was really good.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this property deserves it. Rooms need to be updated. Damaged ceilings, doors, door frame, windows.
The person that stayed prior to me, stored cannabis in the fridge so when I opened the fridge, it was filthy and super stinky. My eyes were watering from the strong smell.
I was on the 3rd floor and the noise from the street (trucks, ambulances, buses) let me sleep
I didn’t feel at ease staying there and I do not recommend this place.
The entrance / lobby is nice - that’s it.

I love staying at the Marriott hotels! The staff are so helpful and kind! We were placed right beside the elevators, so requested a room change. The request was immediately accepted, and the staff brought us our new room key cards right away. The beds/pillows and linens are my favourite! I always look forward to sleeping during my stay! Will return soon!

Hotel was ok. Was a bit disappointed, it being a Marriott Hotel. Would have expected better. When we checked into the room there was no toilet paper or liners for the ice bucket and the garbage hadn't been emptied, which made us question the cleanliness of the entire room (including the bed linens). The elevators were soooooooo slow in the morning. Being downtown Toronto, we were woken up by constant sirens and then later a car alarm as a vehicle was being broken into. Not my first choice for a hotel if returning to Toronto (if I even return to Toronto).

Check is was quick. The fact that we had to wait for 2 elevators before we could get to our room was not ideal. The room is great other than the severely outdated bathroom. The wifi is just awful. I went to regular cell service it was so slow.

Great walkable area in which to stay, many great Asian restos on yonge street to try out. However the hotel needs more/better elevator service. I waited up to 10 minutes, and then the elevator was packed and could not contain even 1 more person.

Only there for one night but was nice, clean and quiet.

Our room was behind the elevator and it’s loud that it disrupts our sleep.

The facility uses a marvellously pleasant and gentle air freshener. A very comfortable, relaxing, and cozy ambiance.
