Nice hotel in a good central location. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My only negative would be the bath tubs- they aren’t textured and are very slippery, and I ended up falling. Had I been a senior, the damage could have been catastrophic.

Convenient Downtown location.
Reception and Concierge service helpful and friendly.
Room Clean and comfortable bed.
Limo service to Pearson Int. Airport @ $69 flat rate, good value for a one hour journey.

Kind of in between the East and West sides of town, this hotel is a good jumping off point for going in either direction.

Really nice rooms. Convenient Location. Staff is friendly. Really nice pool though a little small, and someone was holding swimming classes, taking up room for the actual guests to swim. Loses a mark since the website said parking is included, but in fact costs $45 a night.

Located near City Hall, around the corner from Chinatown, easy walking distance to Queen West and Yonge Street. Service is friendly and professional. Rooms are a very good size, with black-out curtains, good air circulation, and plenty of towels. It's our go-to hotel in Toronto - perfect for families and business trips alike.

The Doubletree is convenient and very nice. It came in clutch when I needed to find a place to stay at the very last night as I was having an emergency with my mother and could not continue on our journey. It is within walking distance of many restaurants and attractions including the CN Towervand Scotia Bank Arena.

It took over 20 minutes for them to check me in. When I got to my room it was clean. However, the sheets were not fitted to the bed and the mattress kept getting exposed.
When I went to bed, the room had doors to the adjoining room and sound from my neighbor came pouring in! I heard their baby, their baby’s “shusher” sound machine all night…and the neighbor’s talking! They weren’t loud, it just all came in. Thank goodness I had ear plugs. I would not have been able to sleep otherwise.
In the morning, the shower’s conditioner dispenser was totally empty and the towels were so threadbare, there were big holes.
Good location, and clean. But that was it.

It was amazing, beautiful view, staff was great and very helpful.

Experience was terrible. Check in was unusually long. Waited 20-25 minutes to check in, watched staff present Cookes to everyone who checked in, than nothing to us. The room was the size of a matchbox, wasn’t stated to be that small in description or photos. The toilet leaked all night, because we didn’t call in middle of night to complain they wouldn’t ac let responsibility or apologize for incident.
Like staying in a hooker motel at a premium hotel rate.

The check in process took an half hour but we did go during a concert weekend. And there was some weird trick to turn the tv on, that we had to call the front desk for. A little bummed out there was no hot tub, but over all beautiful hotel. The cookies that you get when you check in were delicious! Had an onsite Starbucks and restaurant there. Some construction going on around the building, but that was not a deal breaker. Great room/location if you are there for a concert or traveling with family.

Check in was quick and efficient and Ryan was wonderful. The warm cookies were a nice added touch!
I do think all hotels should pay attention to the number of guests on the guest reservation and Supply the appropriate number of bottles of water and towels as well as coffee and condiments.

Hotels.com did not notify us we would need a credit card to put down upon check-in which caused some delays and unnecessary stress after a long day in an unfamiliar city. Also, the parking garage smelled like old pee

My husband and I had a great one night stay for a birthday trip to see a game at Scotiabank. The front desk workers also surprised my husband with a happy birthday bag with goodies for him as well. We enjoyed our stay, and will be back again :)

I would never stay at this hotel again!
Important point to bear in mind: I am a black man.
Let’s start with the front desk:
- Upon my arrival, if I was depending on a warm welcome to decide whether to cancel or continue with my stay, I definitely would have cancelled. I did not feel welcome at all.
- Based on my observations, there was a palpable difference in how the front desk staff received me (with looks of confusion) versus how they received other guests (smiling). From there on out, I knew it was not going to be a pleasant time.
Next we have the restaurant:
- The service from my main server was good (i.e- the taller of the two men who were working). I felt like he did what he was supposed to do.
- However, the other one (the shorter one) kept staring at me with a military vigilance, as if to make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong. I almost got up and left; I was so uncomfortable, to say the very least.
- Unfortunately, he was the one who served me my burger. He was like “here you go!”- as dry as you like it. Again, the difference in treatment was as clear as day!
To be fair, the room was pretty decent (clean and comfortable). The facilities are up to date and well maintained. I will give them that.
BUT, the micro aggressions were hard to ignore. I felt as though I was in a space I was not expected to be in.

Staff friendly, they recognize the guest and smile.
Comfort bed, good amenities, everything was clean and tidy.
My only concern was during night when neighbors doors close, they make big slam sound. And the room curtains need to blackout light more as light slip from edges.
But overall it was a really amazing stay.

Hotel was good. Great location, easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff all around. Room size was decent, well equipped with everything. My only issue was with the noise coming from the corridor and adjacent rooms. Guests were not considerate by being loud. Other than that, I would stay at the hotel again on future trips.

Had a solo trip here, hotel was decent with a short enough walk to the subway station. Decent view and the check in staff were great! Only issue I had was on the morning of St Patrick’s day I went down for breakfast. The sign at the entrance said to take a plate and self serve. I walked in and the woman asked me to leave for no obvious reason. If I was not meant to walk into the breakfast on the ground floor why wasn’t someone stood there to stop me instead of shouting at me when in general I’m a quiet lad who keeps to himself and was on my own?
Thankfully I grabbed a Starbucks five mins away on my way to the parades. The situation left me in a bit of a mood after which just felt uncalled for as I’d just walked in to get breakfast and was made to feel unwelcome so I walked out. As a solo traveller, interactions with others are more valuable and one bad interaction creates a bad perception of a place and this was the first person I’d spoken to that day.
Ignoring that negative, I enjoyed my stay and was made to feel welcome by all other members of staff who were great to chat to, especially Al on check in!

Hilariously expensive parking, Small rooms, bathroom needed the grout and caulking redone as they were moldy in some spots.
Room was clean and modern though.

Wasn’t happy with my stay not one bit. I have a service animal and as soon as I read the text message about her barking, I left my event and came back to be by her side. The hotel staff member informed me that there will be a $250 fee for this. Hi Dan banded her for hours I understand. If other guess we’re disturbed well. I have been disturbed several times staying at hotel rooms.

Our stay was as expected. We arrived to a short line to check in. Our room was ready. We recieved a voucher to redeem the hotels signature cookies later on as they did not have any at the time of check in. Not an issue at all as we aren’t at the hotel for the cookies. The room was clean and updated. We checked in on a Saturday night and there was a few minutes wait for the elevators as it seems that when we checked in (6pm) it was busy. Although there are atleast 3 elevators or more it still took atleast 2-4 min to wait for an available elevator. Parking at the hotel cost us $45. Not the cheapest price and I’m sure we have paid $55 or more at other hotels in the past but there was in and out privileges for those who wish to access their car during their stay. We did not need our vehicle as we walked/ubered to where we needed to avoid finding and paying for additional parking at different spots we visited in the city during our stay. The Room had two water bottles for us and toiletries like body wash and shampoo/conditioner. Bed and pillows were comfy. We had a great stay. We didn’t have time to use the pool or gym.

Could have done with two chairs in the room. Cupboard doors hard to open, but they are aware of this and will review. Fridge froze our fruit solid.

An emergency forced us to stay in Toronto overnight. We booked last minute. Staff was lovely. Room comfortable and clean. They allowed for late check out because of our circumstances. During a very stressful 24, they gave a wonderful place to rest and catch our breath. Highly recommend.
