Everything was very pretty. My only complaint was the breakfast we ordered an omelet and asked for no meat. They included meat and served dry toast no butter. No salt and pepper and lemon slices on the side of an omelette? Not impressed with the breakfast/presentation for $125 you should at least get what you ordered.

Wonderful location by the river, with a riverside park and path next door. Parking is a little squirrely, in an underground lot across the street, but it works. No caffeine in the lobby but you can order room service breakfast, which arrived quite promptly. We had a king room (510), and it was great: very spacious with two wing chairs, a desk, and a dining table with four chairs. All of the furnishings are traditional in design but very comfortable. Both a jacuzzi tub and a shower stall in the bathroom. Wonderful view toward the river. We will definitely stay at the Old Mill whenever we return to Toronto!

Great staff, incredibly accommodating manager, good dinner. An absolute hidden gem, and one of the ONLY hotels that regularly upgrades rooms without being asked. Show them appreciation, it will be returned. Happy to be a regular, and plan on remaining so.

No dining facilities whatsoever, not even a breakfast room. Nothing within walking distance. Only coffee in the room, no tea. (one of my party was English and this was a grave omission for her!) Prices for in room food were exorbitant. No extras in the room...no even a pen and notepad, but I did appreciate the bath robes. The saving grace of this hotel was the cozy bar and a very helpful barman, who gave us excellent service. I wouldn't stay here again though....I had the feeling the place was trying to cut corners to save money.

We stayed for the night. We didn’t use the restaurant on site as we had plans. We found our room spacious and the fireplace was nice to have. Our room overlooked the Humber river and it was very quiet even though we could see the subway. We will return and enjoy the facility again.

Loved everything. The hotel is vintage and cozy. Staff very helpful. Room and bed fantastic as well as the huge bathroom and tub.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was scenic and quiet. It has 5 minute access to a subway line. The Old Mill restaurant, located on the property, was surprisingly outstanding. My herb seasoned Cornish game hen was delicious and stuffed. My wife's meal -a large portion of salmon - was moist and tasty. The Tiramisu dessert was the best of all - "amazing", we both said. The only disappointment was the "hospitality charge" of $16.50 a day which the hotel imposed (for room cleanup) because we booked with Expedia.

Restaurant that was previously affliated with the hotel is now independantly operated and generally open for business from Thursday to Sunday. Our stay over was on a Thursday however it was not published anywhere that they would be closed on the day of our stay. Since we chose this hotel specifically for the availability of the restaurant service we as a consequence are disappointed in our our selection. There were better less costly alternatives had we known.

Quaint old-style hotel, well maintained. Good underground complementary parking nearby. Easy walk to the subway station for easy access downtown. Temp settings was warmer than I would like, felt stuffy, hot beddings. Bathroom sink could use a bit more cleaning. View outside the could've been better if there was no litter.

It was my first time stay at the Old Mill Toronto and it exceeded my expectations. The staff, my room and the entire facility was top notch. All the Christmas decorations were an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying at the Old Mill Toronto.

Had to book this hotel last minute when there was an issue with our previous hotel, and boy, are we glad we did. Beautiful hotel, large and comfortable room with jacuzzi and shower, in a very unique building. If there was one quibble, it’s that the hotel is used for a lot of events like weddings, company parties, etc., so you’ll have packs of drunks roaming the halls looking for their (or their friends’) room. I little more soundproofing would be fantastic.

My stay was AMAZING! It was clean, welcoming and the staff were very kind. The place felt so homey and I could really feel the difference between the Old Mill and other commercial hotel. It is a gorgeous place that has a really unique look.

My room was clean, peaceful, and looked out into trees. The furniture reminded me of visiting my grandparents' home years ago. I didn't try the Jacuzzi but appreciated the shower, which was great, and the Nespresso machine. Most of all, I was grateful for a warm welcome and a deeply relaxing, quiet stay.

The staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful. I grew up in the Kingsway area and our family enjoyed many happy dinners at the Old Mill. My grandparents did as well. I felt very much at home and as someone who has been away many, many years, it was wonderful.

A charming and historical property, that is lovingly cared for. The beds are clean and comfortable. The staff were warm and friendly. The area offers a lot to do and explore, just outside of the busy downtown area. I will definitely stay here again.
