Our experience at Courtyard Seattle Downtown was very good.

Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. I felt a genuine interest in ensuring our stay was comfortable. The room was spacious and beautiful. What I truly appreciate is what happened after our stay. I checked out at 9 a.m. on a Sunday morning with a 4 hour drive ahead of me. I stopped for gas and left town. 2.5 hours into my drive I realized I left my wedding ring behind the phone on the nightstand right next to the bed. I pulled over in a panic and called the hotel. Let me tell you, the automated service felt like it was talking really really slow at that moment. Once I got to someone at the front desk, I explained exactly what occurred and where the ring could be located. Before I could finish my next statement, the lady said “hold-on, let me get with house-keeping management.” It was the longest 10 minutes of my life waiting for the line to be picked up with a response. Would they find it or had I lost it forever? Shame on me for assuming the worst, but my mind took me to the worst situation. When she came back to she phone, she was excited to tell me it was located and they now had it secured at the front desk! A friend of mine was in town and she was able to pick up my ring on her way out of town. It may feel like a small gesture to locate a missing item and return to a customer, but the sentiment and meaning of the item emphasizes the effort they made to reunite me with my wedding ring. I truly appreciate it!!

I booked this hotel because of the pool.. and when arrived there was no pool available due to “maintenance “ wen I told the receptionist about the reason for booking this room, she stated “I’m sorry but you can go look for more hotels that have a pool, there is plenty down the road “ I seriously wanted to cry just because I what I was hearing was just unacceptable.. and my reply was “seriously you want me to go and search for another hotel last minute with all my luggage and all..?” And she replied um well there is computers.. definitely the worst experience.. there was absolutely no customer service provided to us. What can you do to remedy the situation being that we were not treated with any respect.

Less than a great experience. Hotel itself is beautiful. Specifically searched for a hotel with a pool since we have a small child who loves to swim. Got to check in, no pool available…it’s “closed for maintenance”. Never disclosed during my THREE phones calls or on their website. On top of paying $600 to stay here, we were charged $122 to park our car because they offer nothing but valet parking. Additionally, the “view” from our room was rotting garbage on the rooftop next to us and an alley filled with screaming homeless people all hours of the night. Desk staff couldn’t have cared less…this place is hugely misrepresented. I never mind paying good money for the amenities I want, but when they are advertised and not available and I’m not compensated, it’s not right.

Booked the hotel as it was categorized on Hotel.com as family friendly with pool for spring break. The pool has been closed a while and not due to open until summer. The wifi was extremely poor I ended up using my own data roaming. And the hot water ran just above luke warm for bath and shower even at the highest temperature dial.
Couldnt sit in bar area to watch sports on the screen as I was with a child. So overall not ideal hotel for a family with kids. Geared more to corporate visitors.
No issues with staff they were friendly so made the stay bearable.

The room was to warm so we kept the windows open

The hotel and staff were great. The biggest issue is that there is no parking. Street parking is 2 hours and the garages want up to $60 per day and you can’t come and go. It is also located where there are a ton of homeless (3rd street).

Everything and everybody were "Top-Drawer".

Room had a nice layout and was spacious for 2 people. Stayed on the 3rd floor so you can hear street noise/cars but it’s not too bad. The microwave & fridge is a nice addition. I would stay here again

Heater not working for first 2 days, not hot water in bathroom when temperature is in early 30s, technician said they water heater doesn’t have capacity to serve all the guest in the morning. Guy at reception was least bothered about my complaints. Stayed for 5 days, worst stay in Seattle. Never coming back to this hotel.

Very convenient walk to the waterfront and shopping at the Pike Market is only a fifteen minute walk. No parking at the property but three lots are nearby. Hotel is right along the transit line so public transportation is easy to access!

Very convenient location in the city. Can be a little bit noisy but that’s to be expected in the city. Just the occasional emergency vehicle sirens. Room was clean other than the hair I found in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Overall my stay was ok. Hotel was modernized and inviting. The wifi in my room was horrible. The tv channels were disconnecting often and made it unwatchable. The shower functioned poorly. Not sure if i was given the black sheep of the rooms, but I would not stay there again.

I liked the convenience of being able to walk to everywhere we were planning to go.
I did not like that there was no on site parking. While having the valet there was great, it was very expensive to park since the hotel leases out their parking facility. Our bathroom was bit dirty, vents and baseboards were very dirty. The hotel bar and restaurant were not open as much as I think it should be especially on a weekend where so many were there for the football game.

Loved the Bistro restaurant. Least liked was homelessness noisy people outside near hotel.

I had the Caesar Salad and Salmon for dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was very, very good! Delicious!
The front desk man dressed in Seahawks attire was very helpful in suggesting sights between Seattle and Edmonds, where I was headed. So nice and helpful!

Love the historic building, which use to be a bank. Great staff and comfortable rooms. Easy to walk to restaurants, light rail, T Mobile Park and Lumen Field.

We spent 5 nights here so we could attend soccer games at Lumen Field. The hotel was very nice, the room very chic and comfortable, and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We could easily walk to the stadium as well as plenty of other places (restaurants, Smith Tower, ferry dock). We will definitely stay again if we come back for more games.

It was noisy in the adjacent room, rooms were small, but staff were nice
