It is a nice friendly family hotel. Its locate in the China town area and lots of great choice of asian restaurant to choose from within walking distance. We like this hotel because it can accommodate my family of 5 with spacious room and a balcony to walk out to get fresh air. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and definitely will return again.

I am giving this hotel a 1- star due to the lack of attentiveness that was received after my stay. I stayed at this hotel from February 29th- March 2nd. I paid a deposit of $400 via debit card for the 2 nights I stayed in the hotel. I received my deposit back upon check out, but I noticed the next day that $400 was taken from my account and it stated it was from the Homewood Suites in Montreal. When I spoke to the receptionist, they investigated and further stated that they had mistakenly taken the $400 out of my account again, but had immediately issued a refund. I stated that I don’t see the refund, and they informed me because it could take about 5-10 business days before the money reflects in my account. I received a call the day after from this hotel and they had told me that whole the were issuing the refund, it appeared that they had accidentally issued The refund twice, so that I would be receiving a total of $800, in which they will retrieve the extra $400. I’m just trying to figure out who is behind the deposit authorization department, and how they could be so careless and messing around with people’s funds, especially due to the fact that I had already checked out of the hotel and received my deposit. My money should not be taken out a day after I had left the hotel, this absolutely makes no sense to me. I am now sitting here days after checking out short $400 due to the lack of responsibility and incompetency from the hotel staff.

All new build. If you like new hotels this is one of them. We r a family of 5 and the suite was perfect. Wasn’t cheap but travel with 5 goes that way. Nice staff, nice new facility

Nice staff. The room is clean. There is a kitchen inside the room.

Pretty solid stay for a few days in Montreal. My only regret is I wish we realized how loud the highway would be when trying to sleep at night.

The room matched with the photos. I wished the room was not so cold. However, the complimentary breakfast had a lot of different food options. Overall, I had a good experience in the room.

I really appreciate that we have been able to check in earlier. It made the day for us super easy and enjoyable. Thanks again, this was a great customer Experience.

*Cleanliness and service was poor.
*Rooms were not properly set up for guests
*Housekeepers did not service rooms
* Not enough breakfast food to accommodate guests during the holidays. The food was often served cold (or hair in it) and would close 30 minutes before normal breakfast hours. My partner had to eat cereal, with a fork with no milk. The manager also lied to guests saying breakfast closed earlier in order to not accommodate those left without food. The day after NYE nonetheless. One would think the hotel would prepare themselves for the volume of guests.

Everything was great. The only thing that could be improved was that the pillows aren’t great. They go flat almost instantly. Otherwise bed was comfortable

We were excited to stay at the Homewood suites because it had a hot tub. Actually, they had three hot tubs. But upon getting there and going down in our suits on a freezing day, the pools were cold. We called down several times to see if we could somehow figure out a way to get them warm. Nothing happened. We felt like we should get a refund. We called even asked if they had up and running hot tubs. All they needed to do was to cover it at night so in the morning it would be warm. But they left it all night uncovered, which made for no warm water at all. Also, our door to the outside was off and caused noise to come through the door. we tried to screw in the knob plate which helped. But it did not make the room quiet.

The staff at Reception were excellent. Very helpful and Ronald was fab with all his advice. Great breakfast. The suite had everything needed including kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Only one chair so another chair would have been useful. Not too far to walk to main areas. The hotel area is OK and on the edge of Downtown.

There was room for our family of 5, and having the kitchen was a bonus. Easily walked to Old Montreal, St. Catherine St., great spots in Chinatown, etc.

Good value for the price in Downtown Montreal. Wallkable to Congress Center, Old Port Montreal and St Catherine for shopping.

Cleanliness: The room wasn't cleaned properly from the beginning of our stay to the end, I had a previous guest's toenail hanging around my bedside table that I waited daily to see when it would get cleaned up let alone with countless hair from previous female tenants
Area: Conveniently located by the Old Port, however, feels unsafe to walk around late at night with the many homeless who do not appear very stable
I wanted to voice my complaints at check out after having already done so already during our stay, however, the clerk didn't ask anything about our stay other than for the keys and said that if I dont want a physical receipt then I can go

Overall stay was nice. Their computer system was down for the first two days and we couldn't have a room key made, so we had to go to the front desk to have an employee bring us to our room every time we came back. When we got to our room the first day, there was a leak from the refrigerator and it covered a good portion of the floor and the area rug. After a bit of going back and forth with one of the employees about the constant leak, they agreed to swap out that refrigerator with another one and that pretty much solved the issue. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was delicious had a lot of options.

Me and my spouse visited Montreal for the first time. We spent our 11th Anniversary there. The hotel is super ideal place for vacation. It’s just walking distance between China Town, old Montreal and downtown.
Staff are so nice. On our anniversary day, we received a courtesy greeting card from Damian and the front desk staff. They make sure you are special. Thank you Damian and your colleagues! We’ll make sure to recommend your hotel with our friends and families!

Friendly staff. Breakfast area very busy & a bit difficult to navigate unless you get there early (lots of families in the accompanying hotel). A few blocks around the hotel / Chinatown a bit rundown. But close to the Metro.

We really loved staying here.. just minutes away from old port, next to China town, minutes away from all shopping and tourist area. Breakfast was just great... outdoor swimming with 3 hot tubs. Thank you

Great location and very comfy big rooms. Housekeeping was inconsistent though and the $100 CAD per night security deposit was a surprise as that does take away a lot of cash flow when visiting.

Breakfast was so chaotic and we couldn't even find a table. Staff worked hard but they were always out of something. You get cereal there's no milk, you finally get your food there's no cutlery. It was just way too crowded. Most of us skipped the second day because the first was such a bad experience. Hotel location was great and the room was spacious. When we needed towels or blankets the service was quick to bring things.

This is the perfect hotel to stay in if you want to walk around everywhere. It's in the center of Montreal's Chinatown district with many food options and close to Old Montreal. The hotel is clean, has a nice rooftop with three jacuzzis, and our room has a balcony, which is a bonus! Great experience overall. Oh, and complimentary breakfast as well.

The hotel staff were amazing. Went over and above to make sure I got an important package. Hotel was super clean and rooms were amazing. Never stayed at a bad Hilton hotel.
5.0
The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing. We were expecting an important package to be delivered to the hotel, which, sadly never arrived. The importance of the package was clearly communicated to all front desk staff and all were very supportive while we waited. They were just as concerned as we were. We couldn’t have asked for better people to help us.
