Nestled in Barcelona, this attractive condo for $458 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This modern spacious 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment is located only one block away from the famous Sagrada Familia. Located in one of the most popular areas of Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia district is a clean, safe, and friendly neighbourhood that offers visitors authentic Barcelona city life. . The apartment measures 85m2 (914 ft2) and was completely refurbished in 2014. The flat now consists of a living/dining room with an open plan kitchen which provides everything you need; oven, microwave, fridge-freezer combo, dishwasher, washing machine, blender, coffee machine plus a variety of pots & pans, plates, and cutlery. The apartment has both central heating AND air conditioning throughout ALL the rooms. There is fast WiFi (250 Mbps) for free and both the living room and the en-suite bedroom has a TV with a Chromecast which allows you to stream your favorite shows from your phone. Down the hall, you will find the first bathroom, which has a bathtub, a shower, heated towel racks, a toilet, and a sink. The first bedroom at the end of the hall is very spacious. It has a king-sized bed, two bedside tables with individual lights, a sofa couch and a large cupboard to store all your clothes and suitcases. The bedroom is equipped with automatic blinds which ensure total darkness and a good night's rest. In this bedroom, you will also find a hairdryer, iron, ironing board a clothes horse, and all the fresh clean towels and bed linen. The second bedroom is the en-suite. The bedroom is bright and spacious with large bay windows overlooking the Sagrada Familia. A king-sized bed, two bedside tables with individual night lights, a wardrobe, a 32-inch TV with Chromecast, and access to the office space which consists of an office chair, a desk, and a monitor to let you work. The en-suite bathroom has a mixer shower, heated towel racks, a toilet, and a sink. This bedroom also has automatic blinds to block out the light and overlooks a playground which is shut off to the public at night. This apartment was previously rented out as a short-term let and is always in very high demand because of the location and the quality of the flat itself. Don't miss out on your perfect stay to explore the city of Barcelona. *** To comply with the local rules we will charge a lodger tax/tourist tax as set by the Barcelona City Council. The rate for 2024 is 6.50 per person per night with a maximum of 7 nights. People under the age of 17 are exempt . The tax should be paid upon arrival in cash*** *** Late Check-in fee - If you arrive between 10 PM - 12 PM we charge a 20 euro fee which should be paid in cash upon arrival. If you arrive after midnight, the fee will be 50 euros.

This apartment was very well located - close to Sagrada Familia, the Metro, lots of grocery stores and restaurants. It was also very comfortable. Marcel the owner was so helpful. Also, he has no crazy checkout process like some properties (you know what I mean: strip the beds, wash the towels, take the trash out, etc); Marcel told us to leave the keys, and then ordered us a cab to the airport. Excellent and easy for us! Thanks for a great stay in Barcelona!

We were two couples 65+ and having the two bathrooms was so great. Marcel the host was incredibly responsive, provided good restaurant recommendations (go to Sagrada Tapas a short walk away), and even got a taxi for us when we left early morning for the airport. We were able to get taxis very easily from the apartment for going to the museums, Gothic district, markets, etc. And of course the Sagrada Familia was viewable right from our bedroom window. It was relatively quiet although some sounds came through from the apartment next door. The kitchen and living room area were large enough for four adults. Marcel provided some coffee pods and large jugs of water to get us started. Overall, a very good choice.

Many times the online photos of properties look good (like Hollywood sets) but the actual location may disappoint. BUT NOT THIS PLACE! Owner was thoughtful, kind and even met us at the property to help us feel at home with a quick tour. Location is fabulous with amazing closeup views of Sagrada Familia. Place was clean and owner even had power adapters in several locations. We adored our trip and the lovely well-cared for flat. You will be delighted like we sure I feel confident. Happy travels!

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at the apartment. We were delighted! It is spacious and the kitchen was very helpful. The decor is clean, airy and functional. We popped around the corner every morning for croissants and had breakfast. there is an organic grocery across the street and a larger super market within a block. We lost appreciated the dishwasher and washing machine.
We loved having 2 bedrooms because my husband had a bad cold for the first few days. The beds are very comfortable. The apartment is very quiet. And look out the window — there is the Sagrada Familia! Amazing.
There are metro stops within a few blocks connecting to several metro lines. It is all so lovely and convenient. It felt safe and well located.
As others remarked, Marcel is a great host. We stayed in touch by text. We sent a note when we got in the taxi at the train station, and he was there to greet us. When we had questions, we could text easily. He even arranged an early morning cab for us.
We highly recommend this property and thank Marcel for a lovely time in Barcelona.

Great place to stay and launch your Barcelona experience. The apartment is exactly as pictured - clean, well-appointed and in a fabulous location. Marcel is an amazing host. He met us and walked through all of the apartment details, provided great restaurant tips and even made taxi arrangements for our early morning trip to the airport. A fabulous experience and we would definitely stay again!

The apartment was exactly as described and Marcel was extremely accommodating! He showed us around the apartment, gave us restaurant suggestions and even arranged transportation from the apartment to the cruise port! He provided espresso, several water bottles and a bottle of champagne. The beds were very comfortable and the view of Sagrada Famila from the bedroom window was amazing! Thank you Marcel!!!

Marcel is an excellent host, very quick to respond before and during the rental process. AC throughout the apartment and bedrooms are in back of building on a park, so cool and quiet. Lots of nice towels, kitchen is well equipped and all have the essentials! You can see Sagrada Familia out the bedroom windows. We enjoyed the apartment and location very much.

Marcel met us at the property, walked us through the property and advised us on the surrounding area and Barcelona itself. He also had a cold bottle of Cava wine and bottled water in the fridge for us. Finally, he also called and reserved a cab to the airport. First class all the way. Highly recommend renting this property and will do it again in our next visit.

This apartment is as represented, very clean and modern. Marcel was super efficient, responsive and helpful, and met us upon arrival to go over details and make sure all was in order. The kitchen had necessary items including coffee, olive oil, a few spices and compliments of Marcel a bottle of cava and a large water.
The apartment is only a block and a half from Sagrada Familia, but somehow is removed from the chaos of the tourists. It is a secured building in a very safe area. There are grocery stores, fruit markets, cafes and restaurants within the surrounding blocks, and a Metro station also is nearby.
The space has a view of Sagrada Familia from one of the bedrooms. There are shutters to block out light in the bedrooms, which are very quiet because they face an interior park and playground that closes at night. The beds were quite comfortable as well. While there was some noise from upstairs neighbors, it was nothing more than one would expect from any urban apartment. The air conditioner worked well and was much appreciated after long days of walking.
Finally, it should be noted that the location is an excellent base for exploring Barcelona. Many areas are within walking distance, and for places further afield the metro is just a few minutes away. Sants train station is also just a few stops away on the L5 line. (And for those who don't want to take the Metro, Marcel kindly offered to arrange a taxi if we had needed it).
We had a great stay, and hope to return.

Our stay was amazing. We enjoyed the comforts of home, while being in beautiful Barcelona. Marcel was easy to work with, gave us some great recommendations and even arranged a 5:00 a.m. taxi pickup to get us to the airport on day of departure. Five star stay all the way!!!

This apt was fantastic for my sister and I for our travel in Barcelona! Great street, easy to get taxi! Loved the central air conditioning. Two separate bedrooms with large beds and two bathrooms!! We did not do any cooking but the kitchen and dining area is adequate for sure! Check in prompt, friendly, checking out was a breeze. I would say 2 couples or a family of 4 would be the most the apt could hold comfortably. Great place!!! I did book this apt 6 months in advance of my stay and was very happy I did!!!

Marcel was great to work with. My wife and I had never been to Barcelona and Marcel met us at the apartment, walked us through everything, gave us some great restaurant recommendations, and answered several questions about the area. Super friendly and accommodating, great communication and follow up. Great neighborhood, too. Never felt unsafe, even late at night. Would definitely stay here again.

We just returned after 5 nights at loved this apartment. Marcel was an excellent host - very responsive. Lots of room for 4 people, very comfortable and clean, and the view of the Sagrada to wake up and fall asleep to was amazing.
We were concerned that the A/C would not be able to keep up with the heat that summer in Spain brings but it totally did!
Barcelona is amazing and this apartment was a wonderful place to return to at the end of the day after lots of walking, eating and sightseeing. I have already recommended it to friends who are planning a trip next year.

Marcel is amazing, great tips on shopping and what’s open. We happen to land on a Sunday and then a Monday Holiday. No Farmacia no shops but touristy places and food. The location to La Sagrada is incredible!! Saw the church lit up at night from bedroom window, don’t worry, they don’t chime at night….all is quiet. Loved getting the real community living. Apartment is clean and well stocked.

Newly updated, clean, and modern apartment on 2nd floor with an amazing view of La Sagrada. Open the windows and enjoy the bells. Comfortable beds, lots of storage, plus TWO bathrooms. Excellent A/C. Marcel greeted us and stayed in contact for our entire stay.
The only reason for four stars overall is we could hear the neighbors above and next to the unit and we had to use earplugs all nights.
Be sure to get piroshki at the restaurant next door. They might even give you a few shots too.

From our arrival at 230am, through all communications with Marcel, we can’t emphasize how happy we were with everything. The flat was spotless, very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well equipped Overall, Marcel seems to have thought of everything! Staying for 9 nights allowed us to feel a part of the neighbourhood and we were able to explore Barcelona easily from this location. We loved this flat and would highly recommend it!

We very much enjoyed our time in the apartment. It is modern and up to date, very clean and made for such a great place to land after long days of sightseeing. Marcel was so welcoming and accessible for any questions. The kitchen is very usable for light cooking of meals. The area is less congested than some of the more touristy areas, which we very much appreciated. The grocery is very close by as well as several good restaurants and the Metro lines for the train station and beach are just a few blocks away. Would recommend!

The apartment is very updated and modern. It is close to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral, one of the largest attractions in Spain. You can see it from the master bedroom! The space is very comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning is great which may not be typical of these rentals. The stay exceeded our expectations in every way. The host, Marcel, could not have been more pleasant, helpful with tips for tourists and responsive to our needs.

This property is exactly as stated. The location is the best, close to everything you need and want. Sagrada Família is minutes away and something you must do. Marcel was awesome, he meet us at the property for check in to help us settle in. He answered any text sent-mostly restaurant suggestions-within minutes. We will definitely stay here again, because we will definitely visit Barcelona again. Thank you Marcel for everything!

This is a lovely, modern apartment. It's well equipped and comfortable. There's a closeup view of La Sagrada Familia from the window of the second bedroom. The host is very accommodating and personable. We enjoy walking and explored Barcelona on foot.

My brother and I just left this morning after 8 days and I could have written a review starting on day one. There was nothing about the apartment, the location, the host, and our stay that wasn’t perfect. Marcel was kind and very helpful on a number of occasions. We needed this get away after the passing of our father and Marcel kindly was able to adjust our dates to accommodate and it was everything we wanted and expected from the listing. We will return and recommend to all our friends.

Marcel was the Best! We missed our connection and had to stay in Paris for the night. He assured us it was no problem. When we got close to his apartment, he came out to greet us and take us to the apartment. He was so kind and made the checkin simple as could be. The pictures were spot on. The unit was sparkling and the beds were a dream to sleep on. We wanted some authentic paella and he told us about La Gravina, which did not disappoint. We were literally around the corner from the LaSagrada Familia. Not more than 25 steps away. This was my first time in Barcelona and I will be back, hopefully to stay with Marcel again

Fantastic location! Buses and metro are steps away.Super clean apartment with perfect amenities. Although it says "king" bed in the description... if you are from the USA do not expect a king size bed ...they are queen size but very comfortable. European bed dimensions are different.
The true star of the show here is Marcel. The best VBRO host i have encountered. Excellent communication... great recommendations and he even got up at 3AM to make sure our taxi to the airport had arrived. Don't hesitate.

Three adults had a wonderful visit in Marcel's apt. It was a peaceful oasis after busy days ssightseeing. Marcel was an excellent host, answering all our questions with great recommendations for restaurants. Around the corner from Sagrada Familia a major touristic sight yet a family neighborhood with easy access to market, pharmacy, restaurants.

Marcel's place was not only beautiful but impeccably located just a few blocks from the Sagrada familia. There are many markets close by so we were able to get everything we needed and were able to cook meals in the well equipped kitchen.
We brought our 19 month old with us and the apartment itself was perfect for a family. Marcel went out of his way to ensure our comfort and was attentive to all our needs. Would definitely stay here again.
