This was disaster. We brought 13 people to Big Bear for my 50th birthday. 9 bedrooms, perfect for everyone to have their own room and space. Unfortunately because of the recent storms, we were not able to have the house we rented. We were offered 2 other homes. 1 was a 3 bedroom that slept 7 and the other was a 5 bedroom that slept 16. Upon check in, they never mentioned that the heated in the game room, that had 2 of the beds didn't have a working heater (the part was on order, as we were told my maintenance the next day). Not only that, but one of the couch beds were missing the mattress and tons of trash underneath, the other couch bed was broken. Even if we had those beds available, there were any extra linens. People were using curtains as blankets. My mother in law had to sleep elsewhere are there was not enough beds for her. My Aunt's sheets were dirty. The dryer didn't work so we weren't able to dry our wet clothes from playing in the snow. No firewood for the fireplace. The roof was leaking so we had to live with buckets. They barely shoveled us a path to get to the house. There wasn't even a path from the driveway that you had to park your cars in so we had to walk up the street to get into the house. The front (the only entrance) the door handle was broken. I asked for a manager to come over and meet with me - I waited all day on Saturday and no one ever showed or called. I ask for a full refund and was only given a small for my inconvenience.

We rented the house for a corporate event for my employees and their families. The house as advertised was completely misleading. The ‘game room’ had an unusable pool table with only broken pool sticks, mismatched balls and a broken rack. The foosball table arms were broken, table completely tilted and not level and missing balls. Again, unusable. When walking in, a giant trash pile from the previous tenants greeted us at the door. This was only the start of our issues. Next we realized we had zero towels (shower, hand, kitchen, NOTHING). When it was time to go to bed we then realized there were zero linens on ANY of the beds, we all slept on dirty mattresses, pillows with no cases and comforters with multiple stains. In addition, we realized the heaters in the house were completely broken and there was no firewood to even try to stay warm. This made sleeping unbearable for the entire group, including young children, one which was only 3 months old. In addition, we kept smelling gas in the house and realized the stove was broken and a burner was left on and gas was filling the house (obviously extremely dangerous). There was trash scattered throughout the inside of the house, the pool table had the pockets filled with old Cheetos and belongings from previous renters in random spots. I would keep going but I ran out of characters for this review.... If you bring a sleeping bag and want to camp with a roof, this is the overpriced house you are looking for.

Our check in time was at 4 bit we had to stay outside at a cold weather until 8 because cleaning crew was inside cleaning. Dirty and old house. Not enough supplies for 15 people. A lot of stuff was broken and old. Customer service was very poor and ladies were very rood. Beds were shaking and making noise. Would never ho back and will not recomend.

This property is big, great for multi family, very roomy. However, it needs a lot of upgrades. The 3rd floor is considered the main floor and it’s the nicest. The top 2 floors are so hot, while the first 2 floors are very cold (we had to buy 2 heaters). There is old carpeting, old furniture, old game room, old pool table… not sure if I’d book this house again. It was also dusty, we might have left it cleaner when we left.
