Hotel was clean, staff friendly. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. We had to walk up 10-12 steps with no handrail to get to our room. Had to walk up and down these steps with our luggage as well. Elevator didn’t go to that part of the hotel. Our room had been recently “renovated “ per staff. The room was clean, bed comfy. ReAding lights around bed did not work. The TV didn’t work as well. Staff came to look at it but the cable was frayed and could not be fixed. It was 10:30 pm and offered to move us but we had already showered and were in bed so we declined. Our party was told at check in that due to booking through Hotels.com the complimentary breakfast was not available to us. This has never happened to us before. Very dissatisfied with the whole experience.

The room was clean but no coffee or condiments in the room. Had to call down to get coffee, cream and sugar for the room. Had trouble working the heater in the room. Only the air would come on. They were renovating the floor so was a bit messy. The staff was awesome. I had my 90 year old father with me and some of the handrails were removed so he had a bit of trouble getting down the stairs.

Friendly staff, the breakfast was good with lots of food and free for kids 12 and under. My daughter learned how to do a tumble turn in the pool!

Right in the centre of downtown

The property was located decently close to the downtown area making it not a long walk to where we needed to go. The property itself is super clean and the beds were very cozy.

Housekeeping staff were always wonderful and welcoming. But I didn’t have a good check in experience. My family was flying in while I was driving and they were going to arrive before me. My family wouldn’t be able to receive room key cards without me, despite my credit card being charged (twice!) already. When I arrived, they asked me to list guests for “security reasons.” Maybe this is usual practice but I’ve never experienced this before. Our family travels a lot for work and sports- this experience left me feeling very distrusted and unwelcome.

Perfect location, you can take sky train (Canada Line) from YVR airport to Yaletown-Roundhouse Station and it will take 10mins to hotel. Also, you can got to Granville Station (Expo line) to other districts. You can take bus to travel around the city as well. Hotel room is spacious and clean. But the facility is a bit old. There are gym room and swimming pool (both open for 24 hours). Overall is very good.

The staff were kind and helpful, especially Shaf. We had free breakfast included in our stay. The servings were large and the food was tasty. Our room was fairly large and even had a balcony. The best part is the convenience - steps to Yaletown, lots of cool coffee shops, and easy access to the Sky Train. I would definitely stay here again.

Elevators were too small for wheelchair

Good place The building is starting to look worn but that is construction age. Would love to have a microwave installed. The driveway entrance to parking is a hazard and check-in cars need to be managed better.

We had a shared room and we could hear absolutely everything from the room next door. Our neighbors were very noisy at night and no bed was available to change that night. The day staff was very understanding and was able to change our room for an unshared room for no charge. Many thanks for the accomodation, kind of sucks we had to go through a rough night!

Everything was good. I was kinda upset they placed us over a lounge wherr we couldn't fall asleep until the music stopped. Also the parking. Customers should be #1 priority. We had a hard time finding a spot big enough for our truck. Other then that we enjoyed our stay

Was really pleased with the lady who checked us in! Gave us an early check in and upgraded our room! Doesn’t happen all the time so that is why I even did this survey as I normally dont

Nice stay…could have used a bit better signage for how to get around the hotel.

The property was well located. Facilities are bit old, however the overall stay was comfortable.

The hotel is great, clean, nice staff and good restaurant in the lobby. Only down side (and not the hotels fault at all) is there about 2 blocks away from a sketchy part of town. The street the hotel is on is clean and safe but the bus did drop us off where there were lots of houseless folks doing meth, etc. scary two block walk at night but otherwise excellent. Once we knew we just avoided the area.

Always stay at the Holiday Inn on Howe. However this time the breaker in the room kicked out a couple of times cause the heater they brought to the room was too powerful. Room was very cold. Room was very clean though
I will still go back to the Holiday Inn on Howe because the staff are very friendly and try to please. Just need a better breakfast menu.

I would stay again because of the location. It’s pretty close to Robson, lots of shopping and places to eat. The room was clean. On the first night, it did smell of weed and it was coming from another room. After the first night, it was fine. And the walls are pretty thin. Over all it was fine

The area is fine during the day but in the evening, not knowing my way around and travelling alone, I did not feel like walking around to much.
My room was great (I received a courtesy upgrade. The service both at the front desk and in the restaurant was outstanding.
The room was spotless. The bed, confortable.
The lication was good as it was very central.

Expensive place to stay but close to St. Paul's hospital and restaurants. Room was very small and dated. Good place to have a drink and visit friends in the bar.

Convenient location. Ok for one night. Room was on ground floor, large but gloomy. No milk for tea and coffee, in room, only powdered. Average room.
