The room was large and very quiet. Breakfast was "the usual." Location was excellent as it was within walking distance of the premium retail outlet mall and 8 minutes away from the Mall of America. Parking was $10 US which was a bit of a surprise to us. Front desk service was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here.

I usually love Home 2 Suites hotels and go out of my way to stay at them while on family trips for the space and kitchen. I booked my room 2 weeks in advance, but the Home 2 Suites we normally stay at while in Bloomington (Mall of America area) was sold out. So I booked the Eagan location. Parking at this location is in a lot behind the hotel, and on a "negative feels like" temperature day, it was much further to walk than I would have preferred. When we arrived, we were told they had an "oversold" situation, so instead of the 2 queen room I booked, we would have to take 2 adjoining rooms with 1 queen each. Not ideal to have my tweens in their own room, but it was fine. The beds weren't as comfortable as I've come to expect at this chain. Maybe they're at the end of their lifespan. I heard the pool was freezing, so we didn't try it (not to mention we were just at a water park). One of the things I love about this chain is their breakfast. At some locations, you heat your prepackaged frozen sandwiches and omelets yourself in a microwave according to directions. At this location they are already ready. We grabbed the last 2 sandwiches and discovered they were cold in the middle. Like almost still frozen cold. Staff saw me trying to heat them up on the toaster conveyor belt and asked if they were still cold (and no microwave available). She apologized and I got a new one just brought out and it was the same. She heated it up in the back for me. Food safety issue though!

Room was not ready until after 330, staff had to find a different room. staff not that friendly. Toilet flusher was broken in room.

Staff were excellent. Made you feel you were among friends. Hotel was very nice, clean, up to date. Parking was extra and lot was always full seemed like so was a little extra walk to get to the entrance. Food options around the area are limited.

My room smell like a grown man's underarms. The door handle and bathroom knob fell off when we entered the bathroom. We were in the 2nd floor, we could hear the entire conversation above us all night. People stomped back and forth all night on the next floor up. There was only one desk clerk employed for the whole night. The room was spacious and beds comfortable enough. The view is of the parking lot. The parking lot is situated behind the building and access from the building was through a slippery, frozen parking lot, dangerous. Plus you have to pay $10 extra to park. Wouldn't stay here again.

Staff is friendly and the room layout was perfect, but the elevator and hallways consistently smelled like marijuana. It was very strong, all 4 days and 3 nights we stayed there. It could be a gem, but once again, has been tarnished by clientele and sub par management.

check in staff great, dining staff great, food just so-so (bacon please), room repairs and upkeep needed. Had to ask for items in bathroom. Window shades broken, not working. Sheets YUCK! Bedspread nice. Kitchen amenities pretty good although the dishwasher hadn't been unloaded.

The bathroom sink was clogged and had stuff in it when we checked in. Maintenance cleared up the clog, but the bathroom smelled like sewage and made the whole room smell like sewage. Told the front desk and all they said was.. sorry. We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite and they offered to downsize us to a single room. We had to buy a plug in from the outlet mall to make the room smell a little better. It kinda worked. There is no parking designated for hotel guests, so you had to compete with Black Friday outlet mall shoppers.

We always look for suites with a pull out couch, and this one fit the bill. Decent location, but wish we didn't have to pay for parking. Bathroom sliding door was broken. Also wish they had non disposable spoons for the breakfast.

Registration, check in was simple and staff were courteous. Room was clean and comfortable. At the last minute I had to bring our dog so I was so happy it was a pet friendly hotel. Breakfast was typical for most hotels - it was fine. The staff were great. We will be in town several times this winter and this will be our hotel of choice. PS. Kids had a great time at the pool.

Family trip. Our room smelled liked wet dog. There were a couple of spots on the floor which I assume were dog pee. It would be nice to have rooms where no dogs stayed. We won’t be staying here again. Too expensive 393.00 for 2 nights of smelly stay.

The carpet in the room was horribly stained. There was dried blood on the wall in the bathroom. The window shades that ran from a wall switch. Were all broken, one shade was hanging off the window. Top of refrigerator was dusty. This is a dog friendly hotel, however there is really no proper ventilation. No way of opening a room window and it smelled really strong of dog. The tile around the pool is extremely slippery and my toddlers had a really hard time just walking slow around the pool area. That is quite a hazard. Parking pass was nice and the area around was very nice. Shopping center next store was easy to walk too. Convenient location (8 minutes) away from Mall of America.The hotel is beat up though. I wouldnt say run down, but getting there. A lot of maintenence issues.

This was a so-so property. Sadly it was dirty including the elevator, the halls and the common areas. several things in the room itself were broken including the ironing board, the garbage disposal, the lamp and the shower soap dispensers. Had to ask twice to have the disposal repaired. They had promised to come in every five days to clean but they didn't; I had to request the service. The bed was not that comfortable. I would probably not stay here again.

No frills, a minimalist breakfast, but exactly what we needed. A comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, a clean room, good AC, reliable wifi, and enough space to unpack for a week-long stay. Would definitely stay here again.

They were out of several breakfast items. The staff wasn’t always friendly or helpful. The hallways were freezing. Also, we were informed when we arrived and not before that there was a $10 per night parking fee. Not a big deal, but as a courtesy, it would be good to know in advance,

This hotel is a nice place to stay; close to a number of outlet stores; convenient to walk around and quiet. The staff are also nice and the parking is very convenient. I asked one of the staff for one hour of extension to check out because we have a 5 month baby, but the staff asked me to make $100 additional payment. I do not think that is fair. Most hotels are happy to extend the check out time for a couple of hours for free. The other thing I do not like this hotel is if you want to cancel your trip, this hotel does not refund the holds unlike many other hotels. But the facility is good.

Great family stay - Jasmine helped with check in at front desk. Super helpful and gave us adjoining rooms so we could spend more time together. Thank you! Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Nice pool area as well. And easy to get to from highway. Overall a great experience. Only disappointing item was request to have bathroom given a quick clean and garbage emptied after being in room a few days was not accomplished. We only had one day left in stay but would have been nice! Would book again

There was only one worker who was working as hard as they could, as it was extremely busy. They handled everything very well. The bathroom door was hard to use, it was a pocket door, but tended to get stuck. The bathroom door did not lock. Free breakfast was great, except some of the milk that was not outdated was chunky. Thankfully it was poured in cereal and not drank. Great selection as well.

Booked this specific hotel because of the airport shuttle and location. Date of stay, they didnt have a shuttle driver and the second shift front desk person was incredibly rude. But the 3rd shift guy was great!!
