Staying here was a great experience! Beautiful scenery in front of cabin! Cabin was awesome. People are amazing!

The cabin is big, parking is easy. Room is clean.

I loved my stay here, everything was clean, and cleaning products provided for guests to help clean up after themselves in the shared bathroom, and those where awesome, never had to wait even with full cabin, clean and had everything youd need. The cabin is beautiful and pretty private and quiet for being right next to another one. Id give my stay a 10 out of 19 would recommend

I was very disappointed when I arrived at the cabin, and I called Syd to tell him so. There is no running water in those cabins and he does not disclose that on his ad . Do you have to go down between cabins two and three to the shared two showers and bathrooms . There’s not even a way to get Water to the cabin other than a water pitcher in the refrigerator. I was disappointing because the ad, in my opinion, is misleading, and gives a false pretense of what the property is.

The cabins are very nice, great for a getaway. The only negative is there is no running water in the cabin (they do provide a pitcher with water) and the shared bathroom. But those are very small things, I had no issues going to the public bathroom. Overall these cabins are perfect for a weekend getaway, 5 out of 5 stars.

Amazing place to stay close to Fairbanks. The cabins sit on lake with few beavers to spot. Easily accessible from highway. Host was great in communication and checking on us. We stayed at the Chicken Creek cabin.

The owners are very friendly. They answered questions I had about the area.

Small comfortable cabin with porch overlooking a little pond (we saw a beaver). Enjoyed take-out on the porch from nearby Spicy Thai (delicious). Bathhouse had two individual rooms with shower that were clean and nice. These rooms had locks and “occupied” signs. Never had to wait although all 4-5 cabins were occupied.

A very nice cabin for the money we spent. We'd go back. If I could change anything, it would be to have a bathroom attached to the cabin.

Very rustic, but a nice facility. Very convenient to both Fairbanks and North Pole Alaska.

Jim was very friendly and went out of his way yo meet us and show us around the property. He went out of his way to help us above and beyond with an issue that we had with our rented car.

Very nice out of the way (but not hard to get to) place to stay. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Exactly as advertised. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The owner was great at talking us through check-in when we arrived and introducing us to the cabin. I was bummed to find out they don't do aurora wake-up calls. Breakfast was lackluster- a frozen breakfast sandwich for us in our freezer each. The wiring on the inside and outside of the cabin looked very suspect/ maybe not up to code. Fire extinguisher and carbon monoxide were present. Blinds looked old and dusty. The cabin felt very small. One of the 2 bathrooms had a weird musty smell. Water and water temp worked well. The beds were too small lenghtwise for my dad 6foot 4. Beds were ok.

Bathroom not in the cabin. No water in the cabin. Exposed fiberglass insulation, exposed wiring and plywood floor. If you want a rugged cabin it you will like it.

The first thing great thing i noticed about this property was the great customer service. The owners messaged ahead of time to welcome me and make sure i was good to go. Check-in and checkout was easy. The cabin itself was nice and clean and had a porch outside that had a great view of the lake. All facilities were clean. I recommend this place as it was quiet, relaxing, and just a good place to get back into nature and away from technology.

We liked it a lot. Cute cabin, with a pretty pond off the front porch. Friendly, helpful staff. Was just what we needed. Only recommendation is to possibly put more gravel in front of the bathrooms/showers for when the rain makes it a little muddy outside.

Well-managed property with a nice waterfront view. I visited during the summer, and wasn’t prepared for the insects, but other than that no issues. The owner is friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive.

Nice little cabin. Nothing fancy, just a small room with little fridge and microwave and TV. Could have used a fan to help move some air through the place on warm days. But it did have a ceiling fan, which was nice. The shared bath house worked out fine.

The owners were great. Very friendly and helpful. Jim gave us a tour of he ice fishing trailer which he operates in the winter. Cabins are small but fine for 2 people. Beds are twin but very comfortable. Breakfast is quick to prepare without any frills but satisfying. Only comment I would advise on is the bathroom and shower facilities are separate from the cabins and are for the community. I was there with my adult son and we had no problem with it. They were clean and in great shape. Better than some of the other places we stayed on our vacation.

Liked rustic but indoor plumbing would hav been more satisfactory for those who need facilities during the night. Bed and breakfast implies to easterners that there will be a hearty mail served rather than pulling a sandwich and juice from the refrigerator.

Cool cabins, very relaxing setting!

Small clean cabin. Pretty quiet area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Only complaints are the cabin is dry, no running water. Have to go outside to a communal restroom and the mosquitoes are bad.

Had great time at the North Pole. No issues with anything at cabins.
Be prepared to meet the great outdoors.

The description on Hotels.com states that the cabins have blackout blinds/curtains. The cabin did not have blackout blinds or curtains, and the blinds were old and broken. The cabin was otherwise comfortable and peaceful.

It was quiet and peaceful. Snow was moved from the driving and walking area. Jim personally asked us what we were interested in doing and provided many options to stay busy.
