Two of the towels are dirty. The beds are too high. Not enough lights. Water is flowing very slow in both the washing basin and the shower room.

A dormitory that sells open rooms like hotel rooms. Do keep that in mind when booking this one, it is a dorm and designed to be that.
Pros:
1. Excellent location, right in the downtown area. Short walks to both the nearest metro station and bus stop.
2. I didn't make use of these facilities personally, but the gym is impressive.
3. Very clean
4. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Only a handful of options.
Cons:
1. The beds. The beds are one of the worst I've slept on in many, many hotel stays. Both me and my friend had back pain every morning, way too hard. If you have a bad back, do not stay here.
2. The pillow is less of a pillow and more of a paper with a feather in it. This was basically just one step below those disposable pillows you see in doctors offices.
3. The towels, while clean, shot out a white fuzz. At first me and my friend thought it was dust or drier lint, however upon further inspection, it was in fact the towel itself falling apart as it was being used. After showering and using these towels, we were left covered in white fuzz from the towels literally falling apart. Asked for new towels and got them, but all the towels suffered this problem. Cheapest towels I've ever seen.
Dishonorable mention:
Using the laundry first requires purchasing a $10CAD card and then loading that card with $10 increments. This means you need to spend minimum of $20 to use the laundry, but charges 4.75 per load. Go buy a laundry service off-site, you'll save money.

My friend and I decided to take a weekend to explore our neighbors to the north. Everyone associated with the property and the parking next door were extremely helpful.
Breakfast choices were a little limited. But, coffee and beverages were perfect.
Location is convenient- close to the university and Musee des Beaux Arts. Just a 15 min walk to Chinatown.
We plan to stay here again on a return visit to Montréal.

The room is big and spacious but very basic. I wish there were hangers. Everyone is very friendly and smiling, especially Denise, the front desk receptionist. She is full of information and very friendly. The residence is located next to Hilton Hotel. There are homeless people on the street but I felt safe because the guest needs a room key to open the front door and a security guard sits there with the front desk receptionist; another locked gate then there is the lobby and the check in desk. A room key is needed to use the elevator. It was a comfortable stay.

Relatively clean student hostels however the bathroom could be cleaner. Location is awesome walking distance to everything. Breakfast was great too given it’s included. Would recommend!

Exactly what we expected from a student accommodation ,great convenient location.
Decent public spaces and good breakfast.
Couch was basic and not comfortable but we did not sit on it much .

After having a horrible air bnb experience we had to book this at the last minute and I am so happy I did. I will be staying here everytime I come back to montreal and cant say enough great things about the place

Small and very basic room but ok for the price and the location. Parking at 20$ a day and included breakfast.

The hotel is home to mostly college students. As a 68 year old from the US, I found the environment positive and energetic, the people nice. The staff was very helpful and polite. The location is great. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. I hope to stay there again.

We stayed at this place for an event going on at the palais des congres. Walkable to the venue, transit, and many restaurants and depanneurs nearby. Our 2-bed room was actually 2 separate bedrooms! Facilities look new and are clean and well-maintained. Nice gym with workout equipment and basketball court. The free breakfast was very good with both hot and cold food and fresh fruit. Great deal for the price and would definitely stay again!

Great for our Osheaga trip—just three metro stops to Parc Jean Drapeau! Very clean, nice staff, good daily breakfast and great facilities on site! (gym, common areas etc)

great location, staff working there were very friendly and accomodating, free breakfast was very good. I would have given 4.5 stars cause there was no fridge or ice machine for food and drinks, but everything else was great (no tv in the room which I knew about)
The price compared to other hotels in the area is well worth it.

Very clean, and large room. Seperate sleeping areas.

Don’t recommend it for tourists or visitors. It is a residence for students and not equipped for visitors.

The room (bathroom, bed sheets, floor) were not clean. Marks all over, hair on the floor, toilet trash not cleaned.

Location is perfect and the staff are wonderful!
Beds were quite uncomfortable; fortunately there were two beds, so I used the bedding from one bed as a mattress topper for the other bed, and that worked okay. Room was mostly clean except for the toilet in the bathroom.
Because it’s an unfurnished dorm, it lacks a television, but for me that wasn’t a dealbreaker. Also, the air conditioning wasn’t adjustable and sometimes made odd noises, but thankfully I use a white noise app anyway and the temperature was fairly comfortable for me, so I didn’t mind.
On the positive side, the building itself is modern and has lots of amenities such as laundry machines (you can pay with a contactless card) and a gym. The free breakfast was great for me (not many gluten-free options, but that didn’t bother me).
Contrary to what both the Expedia profile and their website say, you can check in after 11pm without needing to contact them! (That was a relief, because my flight was delayed two hours, and the staff were ready to meet me at the counter.)
So, in summary, I’d stay here again if it were a good deal, because the location and staff are great, but there were a few things that could’ve made my experience a bit more comfortable.

Great value for money and the inclusive breakfast is much better than many other hotels. I would definitely recommend.

PROs: This is a university student housing facility in downtown Montreal, which is rented out as a hotel during the summer. It's really great value for money. Full hot breakfast included.
It's clean and a very modern building with many amenities.
Much nicer accommodation than what I had when I was in university over a decade ago. 🙂
CONs:
• The rooms could do with some clothes hangers and more power outlets in easily accessible places.
• The security staff I dealt with after checking out the morning of Aug. 7, 2023, and trying to store my luggage could do with some customer service training to learn how to be pleasant to guests.

No TV in the room.
Nice, clean, great location

The shower head is new but they haven’t tightened it or haven’t put enough Teflon tape. So the water leaks along the wall and goes to wet the toilet paper. That’s room 208.

We had a great stay. Reasonable price, great location for festivals near Place des Arts. Unexpected extras such as ping pong and pool tables added to the fun. Will stay again!

Amazing !!

Obviously it was dorms so it’s not like you got a private kitchen or fridge or anything, but they were definitely the nicest dorms I’ve ever seen. The AC was so powerful and the location was super convenient to get to everything happening downtown

No tv, very high bed, no exhaust fan, bathroom sink did not drain properly

A really great budget stay in the city, would highly recommend! Basically walking distance to a lot of Montreal’s attractions. The only thing I didn’t like is that the room got hot at times (not sure the AC was working very well).

The rooms are actually college dormitories. They are generally clean, but don't expect an expensive mattress. The ones there are covered in plastic and the sheets are simple. The rooms do have all the needed amenities (other than a hair dryer). There was no daily or regular room service, but you can obtain shampoo and towels by asking. The breakfast buffet was good. The hotel is located a very short walking distance to a metro/train station and to the main tourist sites near old Montreal. There is an independent parking garage adjacent to the hotel. Overall, this place will provide a reasonably priced and comfortable stay. It is conveniently located by foot from the train and old town and port areas.

Decent location, continental breakfast was better than expected. Super hot water really fast.
Beds were vinyl covered and squeaked when you moved. No fridge or tv, 1 outlet in each bedroom.

Lovely space as long as you are aware its not a traditional hotel. Dorm style accommodations and they are top notch. Only grip was the bed was really high off ground.

I am a non-smoker but I had to live in a room full of cigarette smokes coming out of their centralized A/C system. The window are fixed and cannot open.
So if you are a non-smoker. You dont want to come here.
But I liked the breakfast they provided.

Stayed here last year in the summer. The breakfast was better last time with better selection but overall a good place to stay on a budget and much better than a 2-3 star hotel in this city which would cost double during the summer season. This is only available when the university students are not using these residences

Great location, but no hot water jug and no TV
