Excellent property pretty close to town. Nice staff, good breakfast, nice workout room and jacuzzi.

Newly renovated hotel, everything is nice. Great service, free breakfast and early check-in makes it a great place to stay for ski trips. Also, free use of baby crib was a plus. Only minor issues: shuttle service to Vail Village was not frequent enough (one driver was out), and the ski storage area should be near the front door, not on the parking level.

Great staff ! Good transportation to the ski hill

We booked this last minute and it was great. Front desk staff, the room, amenities and location to vail.

They went out of there way with information for me to do around here. Very good in checking me in

This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We arrived after being stuck in Winter Storm Heather, realizing we couldn’t make it to the airport. The service was phenomenal. The rooms are plush & clean. The lobby is spacious with plenty of room to relax by the fire. Highly-recommend.

Service was excellent, very clean. Only downside was street noise at night, room was located in front side of hotel. Suggest staying in a room overseeing the back.

I-70 is directly across the frontage road. I recommend either a room on the back side of the hotel or simply turning the HVAC fan on manually at the thermostat.

Great, beautiful, new, convenient and well appointed hotel.

Great option for big families. The room I used has a Kitchen with stove and silverware and plates. Includes a full size living room and all of the amenities you could need. The Gym was brand new and the equipment was also new. There is also a laundry room available for post stay recovery. Very convenient! Will definitely book here again.

There was no vegan or vegetarian option in the breakfast.

This is a brand new hotel near Vail at a reasonable price with lots of amenities . I highly recommend it.

The staff was so customer service oriented. Breakfast was the best we’ve ever had at a Residence Inn!

We were really glad to find this property. The staff made us feel welcome and helped us navigate our dinning needs too.
Breakfast was fresh, delicious and convenient.

Front desk staff was very friendly. Brand new hotel, so everything is immaculate and spotless. Loved my spacious room. Pillows are not good and beds are hard probably because they’re new. However the hotel is beautiful. Not happy with the outrageous $45 parking charge. That would add up if staying multiple nights.

Could not believe that nothing was mentioned about the $45 nightly parking fee when I booked this property. If I had known, I would have looked at other properties. For two nights this was almost $100. Quite a shock !! There were only 14 rooms booked for that night.

My wife and I came up for a night to celebrate our 5 yr wedding anniversary. We were met by a gentleman named Isaac at the front desk. The room was cozy and had some great amenities. In the morning breakfast was good and the breakfast attendants were so friendly and helpful. Before my wife could even asked for coffee she knew and brought her a cup from the pot brewing in the back. We will most definitely come back and recommend family and friends.

The place is brand new, so its very clean. I book via Hotels.com and although it says it is pet-friendly it did not state there is a $150 pet fee nor did it stat $45 for garage fee. I really didn't think there was going to be a parking fee since it wasn't on the vail resort side of the mountain. Those two extra fees combined doubled what it cost to stay there. Additionally they kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand of the morning breakfast, especially the coffee. Anyhow, I shouldn't at the Sebastian with the price I paid.

Only parking is the problem

The staff were fantastic! They went above and beyond to make sure we had access to transportation and extra lotion (it’s dry there). Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

New property fairly basic. They don't tell you that parking is another $45 per night. The beds are hard and the pull out sofa is not comfortable. Sheets are stiff and smell like they haven't been washed like straight out of the packaging. Bathroom is nice however, the water for the sink and shower stopped working in the morning and we couldn't shower. when we ran the sink water some of it was brown, when it spurted out on and off. One of the lights would work and then it wouldn't. Staff at front desk were unorganized and still training. The free breakfast was overcrowded and ran out of food. We had to wait for them to cook more to feed the guests and it was limited when it came out. Design is simple but nice. the studio room with a king bed and pullout has an enormous desk area that is overwhelming and unnecessary for that small of a room and could be eliminated to make more space in the living area.

Street level was very loud.

Brand new hotel. Great location. Nice property. The Sunday breakfast was a disaster. Ran out of food and couldn’t keep up.

$45 to park is ridiculous and there is no free option nearby unless you park at the grocery store a mile away and walk back. Other than that, it was great.

180 bucks for one night, tiniest room I've ever seen. Got back from a concert at around 10:30-11 and my room key stopped working so I was stuck outside until I could chase down the hotel owner and let her know. It was freezing outside. However, they did give me early checkin. So that was nice. I'd honestly just pay a bit less for a nicer hotel a little outside of vail next time.

The Roost was exactly what we needed. A cheaper place to crash after a long day at Vail and a longer night at the bars. The room was the cheapest in town, no frills but a great hot tub. The free Vail Shuttle stops just outside of the hotel and the Village is less than 5 min away.

Having stayed at the Roost many times, we are obviously gluttons for punishment. In as nice a way as possible, it's a dump. It's still the cheapest place most of the time in Vail, but you get what you pay for. In time, we'll all look back and enjoy the memories of this place after it goes away and is replaced with yet another ostentatious monstrosity with basic rooms for $400+ per night.
