Patient staff at desk helped me get my boarding pass printed.
The bartender/waiter was very pleasant, helpful, and had a good sense of humor.
The continental breakfast included with the Booking.com booking was surprisingly nice, with very fluffy croissants.
A broader menu.

Front desk staff were amazingly helpful and quick to respond to any questions and nothing was to much trouble.
The dining room and bar close early 9pm.

It was beautiful and quiet

Surprisingly large room for a heritage styled hotel. Beautiful location and grounds. Very quiet. Nicely furnished and equipped. Great place for a one-night couple's getaway.
Having to park in condo parking lot across the street was a bit awkward. The hotel bar closed rather early (10pm on a Sunday night).

Good location, beautiful room, clean and comfortable. staff are polite and helpful.
Easy access to Humber River trail walk.
Parking is across the street. not convenient. Continental Breakfast is included but only room service is available, not an option to go down to the restaurant. Breakfast only provides drinks and pastry, no fruits and cereal as should be included in continental breakfast.

Restaurant not open. Drove home one hour for breakfast

Very good service, friendly staff and quiet.
Restaurant was closed with no communication of hours prior to booking and with limited options there was long waits for room service.

Our fireplace didn't work

I was there for Queens IRC program, the conference rooms were excellent, meals served during the meetings were delicious, all staff members were fantasitic and made you feel at home.
My only complaint was my registration for Queens was late, and I wasn't able to get the discount room price, if I wasn't able to find a more economical price on Trivago I would have been forced to stay somewhere else.

The location and decor
My room smelled like stale smoke and was musty. The furniture is old and needs a good steam cleaning, as does the carpet.

the rooms were spacious, and the bartender at the pub was excellent.
the rooms are dark, and in desperate need of an upgrade. breakfast was delivered cold on day one and without condiments on day two. didn’t get the feeling that the staff wanted us to enjoy our stay.

The property is very clean and very easy to access. parking is included.
The restaurant is not currently available so room service is the only option.

all was excellent
for the sake of older people - safety
in the bathroom - (1) grab bars by toilet and in shower (I did not use the bathtub, but I would make the same recommendation )
(2) the toilet is very low.
second observation for older people - the bed is very high.

It’s a great getaway within the city, the property itself is lovely.
We’ve been to this properly before, and it just seemed like things have gone down hill since Covid. They used to have jazz music playing in every suite which a nice volume control, it’s not a bit thing, but it stood out as something special, that wasn’t working this time.
The property itself was much more lovely with live music and much more upbeat atmosphere, but it didn’t feel like that this visit, and the prices are inline with the top hotels in toronto, which makes it even more disappointing.

location and cleanliness. friendly staff
no coffee available in the lounge area. Coffee maker in bedroom not good for me . a kettle would have been fine

The place itself and the surroundings are absolutely gorgeous. We were there in October so the trees were changing color. Very very close to the Subway and Bloor St. W. Just wished our room had a better view. And there were so many functions going on we couldn't enjoy the lounge. Overall a really lovely place to stay
Very busy with private functions. We didn't get an opportunity to enjoy the lounge.

the ambience and aesthetic - stunning! such a gorgeous location. the hotel did so much to make us feel comfortable - especially appreciated the early check-in due to circumstances not in our control

Away from busy center yet very close to subway station, 30 min to the center. Located in quiet green area with beautiful walking trails along the Humber river. The hotel building is located on the cite of historic Old Mill with the same style. Big and quiet room with classic design. Comfortable bed. Good housekeeping. Environmentally friendly.
The front desk staff are all good in terms of being helpful, welcoming and polite. But one of them, Joe, was very friendly and always ready to help as you expect from such a hotel. Thank you Joe for making our stay more comfortable.
The hotel has only one restaurant/bar but with exceptionally good and professional bartenders, Astrit and Giacomo. Many special thanks to Astrit for making our stay more pleasant and enjoyable.

Great location and overall ambience.
The beautiful patio in the photos and the restaurant were not open!
The room decor is 20 years out of date and shows many signs of poor maintenance. As does the site - signs falling over and not painted.

Location is great. Easy to get to and near a subway station for exploring Toronto

It was a memorable stay! Staff SO accommodating and friendly. The bar server was great!
Our 40th wedding anniversary celebration [we were married at The Old Mill 40 years ago] was made even more special with the lovely card and bottle of wine.
Thanks!
Nothing could have been better!
