Easy access to the metro and the staff was always helpful.

Enjoyed the Residence stay thoroughly, primarily for the great location - easy walking to the Mall

Location - excellent. Room size -- more than adequate. Staff -- very helpful. Breakfast -- terrific. Parking -- convenient, but expensive.

Happy with our stay. We would come back again.

Good location, within walking distance of the mall. The rooms are large, clean and the staff is friendly. The free breakfast is not fancy but perfectly fine at this price point. Be sure to arrive early to avoid the rush...

The sofa bed is for children only. Expect some back pain if you are over 100lbs. The room was a bit chilly, and the thermostat was locked. No much food options appart from a pizza/burger place.

It is a good value and comfort stay. Just hard to find it.

The location was excellent for our stay. The sliver line is right on the block and the museums, and the capitol hill are all in walking distance. The kitchen was perfect for us.

The heater was very loud.

Good stay comfy for family of 5

Staff friendly particularly the security/doorman with long dreadlocks, a big guy, didn't catch his name. Spa great, location easy walk to museums and monument etc. New burger shop open next door has amazing Burgers. Not that we needed it, as only 1 night stay, but the full fridge and kitchen is handy. Family of 5 stayed in 1 room comfortably.

Phone in room did not work, told reception, also asked for sofa bed to be made up and it never was. I found soe sheets in the cupboard and made it myself.

Should have done my research better before booking

Poor storage (less drawers). Bathroom has no exhaust fan. Carpet was not vacuumed well. There were two small broken glass pieces found. My wife stepped on one and got hurt. There is no restaurant inside the or around.

Because of the location I would stay there again

Location was perfect. Room was good. Breakfast a bit repetitious! Omlettes would have been a good change.

The reception staff at the counter was very inhospitable. Not very welcoming or knowledgeable about tours etc. Felt like I was bothering them. They need some training in hospitality! The breakfast staff were marvelous and so was the cleaning staff - very friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff, great location, and a wonderful time even during a tropical storm.

The staff was incredible and so helpful. They were friendly and answered all questions. The breakfast was great and the staff was quick and clean.

I would appreciate a bit more variety in breakfast. If you stay for a few days then the breakfast feels redundant.

Great location, good service. Excellent stay.

The staff was very friendly and willing to make our stay enjoyable. The location is great; we reached anywhere we wanted either by foot or by Metro. Checkout hour is good, and the ability to comfortably stay in the Lobby for a few hours is truly appreciated.

The Room Sofa wasn't that comfortable; it is tolerable at most. Overall, I don't have any more complaints about the hotel.

Location is key, just three to four blocks away from Smithsonian Museums.

This hotel only serves breakfast. Breakfast was decent. No room service, therefore no dinner menu. There are enough fast food places within a two block radius. Potbelly, McDonalds, Subway, Starbucks. The Hyatt which is one block away offered a okay rooftop experience with adequate drinks and menu. Close walk to all Smithsonian museums.

The tap system with hotel keycard was hanky sometimes it worked sometimes not. You need card foe room, public bathrooms and elevators.

Dogs barking and the noise from the trains. The entrance to parking is vary tight.

Enormous room, good location, comfortable stay even if rooms are a tad dated.

The rooms are huge with full kitchenette, sofa, and plenty of space. This and the walkable location to many nearby attractions were the best part.

About the only negative I had at all was the A/C did not seem to cool as well as it should. They either had it regulated, or my unit needed to be serviced. In room temperature never got down to thermostat setting temperature of 72, etc... One curtain was broken as well so I couldn't fully "black out" outside light. Used a provided hotel pen to somewhat help this.

We'd stay there again!

The suite was a good size and all appliances worked well. Bedding was very comfortable. The daily cleaning was fabulous and spotless bathroom.

We had to change rooms initially due to air conditioning not working but the staff response was very good and helpful.

Great place for families to stay in DC!

Breakfast was great and staff wonderful! We loved the room size and having a kitchen. It was close to many places on the mall. Having a pool and hot tub was nice. We were able to check in a little early and check in our bags early and after check out.

Some maintenance needed and hot tub not really hot. Small pool and got very crowded with the number of children in the building.

Great hotel for a short sightseeing trip

The location was great within walking distance to the Mall and all the sights. We only needed the metro to get to and from the hotel. You can go directly from IAD to the hotel (Silver Line). The size of the room was sufficient for 5 people. Breakkfast was very good, very sweet but the children loved it. A little hotel shop and a friendly concierge.

Great location, subway or walk to national mall. Clean, staff was good at getting us checked in as soon as we arrived to the city.

Staff assumed we parked in garage when our vehicle didn't fit due to our Thule storage box. Particular staff took slip and charged us anyway even though we backed out and parked about 4 blocks away. It was a pain to get the charge fixed, but the person who helped was wonderful.

Friendly staff

We had red stains (hope it was red wine) informed front desk and was told housekeeping would come up! When we got back room was cleaned but stain still under desk! Also we had a suite with three tv’s and only one remote!! I also informed front desk about that but nothing was done.

The stay was to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and Iwe thoroughly enjoyed it.

The room was clean and the kitchen was very nice.

My daughter’s washcloth was stained but that’s my only complaint.
