I liked the rustic feeling of the lodge. The pool table was awesome.

Location, history, pool/hot tub, deck off our room was great
Nothing going on - beautiful old bar with great view but not open! Dining room not open. 10am checkout and not at all flexible because we wanted shower after hiking and then check out. Rooms are clean and decent but dated. No mini-store for drinks and snacks.

Set high above the quaint town of Estes Park, this historic facility was charming and comfortable.
The facility does not have air conditioning. While AC was not needed for cooing purposes, it is for air circulation.

Loved the lodge itself. The location was pretty good and quiet. The room was nice and we liked the view of the mountain.
It would have been nice to have a queen size bed instead of a full. I had put in a special request to let us check in a little early like an hour would have been nice. It was our 25th anniversary. They took my number and said they would call us when the room was ready, but we never heard from them so we ended up checking in at the normal time. That was disappointing.

Really a beautiful stay, staff was great, restaurant seasonal but had a lovely time
Liked it all really, would stay again when restaurant open

This is an awesome place. Great location. Great views. Each room is different. Barb at the front desk was awesome, recommended great restaurant and brewpub. She said her goal is to make sure all the customers are happy. I’ve travelled to top notch hotels and resorts on multiple continents and I would put her at the top for all around people and customer service skills.
Nothing. It was a great spot. I went off season so it was very quiet.

Cozy and welcoming. kitchenette in the room was perfect. They would even have a fire in the lounge each evening.
Room temp was hard to manage.

Everything about the stay was amazing especially the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, checking on us frequently via text. Very welcoming and pleasant.

The room they put me in was over the kitchen and when the kitchen staff was cleaning for the night, I could hear them loud and clear. went to say something to the front desk who said he would take care of it, but it went on for about 20 more minutes before they seemingly left for the night

Spacious room, comfortable bed, close to town, not walkable but close nonetheless
parking is tight, just be prepared. not a deal breaker

Great location for access to the route for Rocky Mountain National Park. A short drive to grocery store, and other services in town. Staff was helpful with suggestions for our stay. Also, the restaurant on site was great! If you want the experience of a cookie-cutter bland hotel chain, this is not your hotel--however, if you want to experience a historical lodge with wood floors, antique furniture, and learning about the family history of this mountain lodge and mountain memorabilia, then the Crags Lodge is the respite you are looking for.

The bed was comfortable .
It was hot. This place does not have air conditioning. Rooms are very dated. Bathrooms have not counter space. Having to leave the windows open de reased privacy. The pool was not open. The restraunt was way to expensive.

The room was perfect with an amazing view of Estes Park at night. old hotel but our room had certainly been updated.
Not one thing.

Beautiful hotel. Wonderful stay! As said before staff was VERY friendly. Will come back.
One gripe...... no AC and it was hot all night, however, nothing that an open window and a mountain breeze couldn't fix.
