It was comfortable clean good value for money I stayed 5 days

The room was very comfortable and larger than expected, with a lovely balcony. The bed was very excellent and a plus was the laundry off the bathroom complete with washing machine and a dryer.
I found the shower over the bath very uncomfortable as I am an older lady, a straight walk in shower would have suited me better. I also found the microwave oven in the way on the kitchen bench, a simple shelf in the corner would solve that problem.

Staff are great & the location was very good. Rooms comfortable & clean & the size was very generous.
Noise, noise, noise. If you’re a heavy sleeper you probably won’t have a problem. The room next to us was so noisy- I think they were living there & had no respect for guests staying nearby. Banging doors, loud audio devices, and strong cooking smells made it a very uncomfortable stay.

I booked online & i have stayed at this Hotel many times before & loved it. But this time even though I was a repeat visitor I was given a pokey tiny room you couldn’t swing a cat in. I have always been very happy & satisfied customer at Hotel Chino but very disappointed this time. The staff are great. The BBQ area is wonderful. The rooms are usually very spacious. NOT this time. Be very careful booking online.
This Hotel is normally fantastic. That photo DEFINITELY was not the room we stayed in this time, it was the tiniest room I have ever stayed in. No one should be able to rent a room that small. The bathroom was so tiny there was no bench space at all. Two people couldn’t be in the bathroom at the same time, the shower was tiny. There was no where to put your luggage. There was an inadequate bench space to even make a coffee. I had to go through 2 doors & across the hall to use the microwave. Not happy with my stay this time at all. Book directly with the hotel to avoid such disappointment. Hotel Chino you really dropped the ball with this stay. I felt very cramped & it was not an enjoyable stay at all. AND we extended our stay without knowing just how small the room was & we had to spend 3 nights in such a cramped small space. It was disgusting to charge what they did for such a small living area.

That I was able to cancel from three nights to one at least...one night was way too difficult there though. Staff tried to find solutions to be helpful. Location near bus station though road works nearby blocked part of footpath to there.
Shower was very small door to shower when opened blocked the majority of the bathroom door (difficult to get in out of bathroom) shower had heaps of visible rust around the edges, toilet needed cleaning of black reside in bowl, and urine spots under the seat when that was lifted as I inspected it before use, noisy fan light in bathroom couldn't use it...had to use hallway light keep door open to see a little bit though difficult at night time, noisy buzzing of fan light had to not use as started to trigger seizures, sneezing alot allergies increased...dusty ventilation and lamps and other furniture needed cleaning, dirty curtains stained aswell as the carpet, microwave very low doesn't make sense as not suitable for a wheelchair accessible room re bathroom type and lack of suitable hallway and general room circulation space, the room would better off having no balcony and adding the extra metres to a larger room that they should maintain better clean room, online pics don't match the detriation level of the room in reality, noisy neighbours rooms very much not sound proof...in middle of the night hearing people play tv and music. Strong smells from neighbouring rooms, bedding needs better attention to cleaner sheets... no way I could use those pillows....I slept at end of bed away from such. Access to property limited after hours for guests to use a small side door not automatic... difficult with mobility issues travelling alone it's not accessible. Had to limit schedule to when could access hotel easier back by the time the pizza shop that connects to hotel entry other side was still open to go through that way instead.

The after hours check in was very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and cozy. Very clean.
Checking out after hours was a bit confusing. I couldn’t see anywhere to leave your room key when leaving. Suggestion would be to have a drop box in reception area for room key drops when staff aren’t there.
