Right in the heart of Florence, everything was within walking distance.

the host met us and helped us with our bags. Very easy to communicate with.

That it was on the top floor (level 9) and there was no lift.

Exceptional

location and views are amazing! you literally next to the dome and have view of all Florence from your private balcony. Rooms were clean and nicely furnished. there is no lift so be ready for some leg workout to reach your apartment but it is worth it.

Disappointing

The location of the apartment and the quality of the furnishings and fixtures.

There was no lift and 80 steps up to the apartment. This wouldn't have been so bad if the advertised roof terrace had been there but it wasn't and any views could only be seen from high level windows. Apartment was dark. Very disappointed with the inaccurate description and the person who met us at the start was uncontactable during our stay. Wouldn't have booked it if I'd known it didn't have a terrace.

Fantastic stay in Florence

The decor, the rooftop and views, very central location, near a supermarket and all major attractions. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed.Washine machine is also a dryer, which was a bonus. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I would stay again as a lovely place in excellent location and felt safe at all times in the area. Excellent facilities

Location to all tourist attractions is excellent. Apartment is roomy & comfortable for European travel sizes. Decor is tasteful. The living room & bedroom have afternoon sunshine which we enjoyed & have aircon & heating if required with good privacy with curtaining etc. We opened the windows often and very private. Bathroom has under floor heating and proper shower & a bidet. The balcony is a bonus with a spectacular view of Florence’s Duomo and rooftops. We enjoyed breakfast up there and evening drinks on the nice weather days. Kitchen is satisfactory for small meal preparation. The washing machine combo dryer were in perfect working order. Church bells are sounded daily and can hear these from the apartment. Restaurants & cafes also mini mart all within 1 -2 minute walk! We used the tram and train facilities to /from Florence and walked from these to the apartment.

There is no lift/escalator. Around 80 stairs up to the apartment. Our host took our luggage up on arrival which was well received. Each day after walking throughout the city and museums etc ( we did over 10km walking each day) you have to climb the stairs up to your home!

Great Place if You're Young and Fiit

Very nice apartment. Well decorated, well situated with nice partial views of Florence landmarks from the main floor bedrooms.

If you have issues with stairs, make sure you request a main floor apartment. We had to walk up 88 steps to reach ours, we are in our late sixties and it was excruciatingly difficult. In addition, we were expected to carry out and dispose of our own garbage blocks away. BUT, the worst of all were the beds which were like sleeping on concrete...I, personally am still suffering with neck and back problems as a result. (As a point of reference, I live in the country, garden, play tennis and swim, great shape for my age). Probably a great spot for a young family or extremely fit adults. Otherwise, move on. If you need to have your luggage carried up or down the medieval stairs, the owner will charge you dearly. We were charged 50€ to get to Santa Maria Novella station, a five minute drive. So, please please consider carefully.

Superb

Incredible view of the Duomo- we couldn’t get enough of it! Amazing location and Stefano so helpful and flexible. The car service is fantastic and saved a lot of hassle by dropping us off directly at the apartment. Comfy bed and apartment has everything you need!

Lovely location but amenities in the apartment were unacceptable.

great location

terrible water pressure, unable to have a proper shower or wash hair. there was also four flights of stairs and no elevator, which is very hard when you have luggage.

Great location, comfortable apartment in the heart of historic Florence!

Located one block away from to the Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and in the heart of historic city centre. The apartment is spacious and has Air Conditioning in every room. It is relatively well equipped and great wifi.

It is on the very last floor of the building (5th I think?) and no elevator but that’s ok unless u have heavy luggage. Also the furniture is from an era long past which for some could be fine, maybe even desirable.

great apartment but remember to bring your own soap!

Fantastic location, great view, nice apartment and amenities. The hosts kindly helped carry our bags upstairs for us which was really kind and helpful! You seriously you cannot beat the view from the rooftop and many great sites and restaurants all within walking distance. The neighborhood felt safe and clean. The AC worked perfectly and cooled the room fast.

We knew about the stairs and it wasn’t a problem for us. There wasn’t any bathroom hand soap, shower soap, or shampoo provided. It was nice that it came with two laundry detergent pods but the hosts declined to provide any more when we asked for one more pod. Inconvenient but not a big deal as you can always buy your own. There was comically low shower pressure during our stay which was explained as construction work on the water lines in the area. Seriously, it came out as a drip most days. The water boiler button is also located on the rooftop which we accidentally pressed thinking it was the light switch resulting in 2 days of cold showers. (But the host promptly attended to the problem when notified. The wifi was inconsistent throughout the stay and dropped service quite often. The host did come to check when we asked but it happened to be working while he was in apartment.

Wonderful location! Plenty of room, nicely furnished, and very clean - recommended!

Super friendly and accommodating host representative! The apartment is on the fourth floor and it quite. The apartment has modern luxuries including laurndry and air conditioning!

The apartment is on the forth floor. So, if you are traveling with someone who has trouble climbing stairs, this might not be a good for you.

Bright, spacious, and next to the Duomo

location! The apartment was incredibly bright and spacious. Full kitchen- space to practice yoga or stretching. The Duomo is just outside the window !

Great location and nice owners. For travelers with small lugguge.

Owners answer quickly in mail, and waited for us patiently even though we were late due to traffic jam. Superb location in the city center, just be carefull to find parking elsewhere. Clean and nice design.

No parking nearby, we got last floor without elevator. Had to leave exactely on 9 oclock.

A perfect stay!

A perfect stay! The flat is spacious, lovely, beautifully decorated and stylish. It is located in a wonderful area with 1 minute walk to great restaurants and top sightseeing landmarks. Perfect silence, comfortable beds. Service was quick and host was very responsive. Would definitely book the place again!

Beautifully Decorated - Excellent Location

The apartment is in an excellent location and it is furnished beautifully. You can easily walk to all of the top sites and with tons of cafes, restaurants and shops close by.

A lot of stairs - Not a problem, just a reminder for those who may have missed this in the description :)

Great stay in historic center of Florence

Excellent location, great vistas of monuments and decor. Very comfortable and livable. Wonderful responsive communication with Stefano. He was so helpful arranging taxis for us and the info at the apartment was great.

All good. Wished we had more time to stay in Florence! Will recommend to other visitor. One item to note is the 80+ stairs to the apartment, we were fine and appreciated the opportunity to work off the gelato, but may not be for everyone.

Very good

Excellent location... everything is just around the corner . Comfortable beds , kitchen facilities and washing machine which has got a good dryer .

Lots of stairs to climb. At least 70 steps or so to climb up. If you don't know how to use the pulley to lug your bags down, checking out will be quite challenging . No lift
