Everything about our stay was amazing! The location could not be better!! Several restaurants, bars & stores all within walking distance. The beach is just steps away. The condo was lovely. Spacious, very clean and comfortable. Chris was very responsive, helpful and made sure everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!! I would absolutely stay here again.

The condo was great! We really enjoyed walking on the beach and sitting on the balcony in the morning with a good cup of coffee. It was easy to get around the island from our vantage point. There was so much to do and see! Hopefully, we will get back in the future.

The location and ease of access to everything were superb! Would definitely recommend this condo for the space and value. The building itself is a little older, but the unit is well maintained, bright, clean, and with great furnishings. We stayed for two weeks and would happily return! Chris was an extremely responsive host!

This was our first family vacation with our two small children. There’s a nice walk in closet that is shared with the king size bedroom that fits a pack in play perfectly to keep an infant in. It was great because we could close the barn door while baby was asleep and still be close to get baby. The AC worked great and kept us cool no issues. The property was well kept and the kitchen had everything we needed. Chris was great at communicating any needs and available if I had any questions or concerns, which we didn’t. Super easy to check in and out. We were not bothered by anyone or anything. The house of very quiet and you can’t hear other condos. We will definitely be back to Suntide!

The property was great, we felt safe and all instructions were very clear!
There were no surprises, everything was as we expected: so clean, and right on the ocean. I had forgotten just how beautiful Padre Island was - such blue water!
The only thing I would change is the mattresses / beds in the small bedroom. They were comfortable- just very noisy whenever you turned over - or moved at all.
I am happy to say, although the owner was in contact regularly, we had no issues or problems with our stay.

I am always skeptical about renting from Vrbo. This one is definitely a 5 star! From the moment I put a down payment on the condo Chris stayed in contact with me and my family. We stayed for 3 1/2 days and had no problems. There was nice furniture & the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed watching nature shows on the TV and had a nice porch overlooking the beach. We hope to visit again sometime soon. Also, the air conditioning kept us comfortable and the kitchen was very clean. Thanks!!

Great communication with Chris and Lori. They checked in through out the stay. Eveything was clean and updated. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need and there were hooks everywhere to help with the towels. Being the top floor, it was nice having the vaulted ceilings. A nice home away from home and I would highly recommend.

This condo was exactly as pictured on VRBO. It was well equipped and well located on the island. You can easily walk to Blackbeards' Restaurant. We loved that you could see the Gulf from the front deck and the sunset over the bay from the kitchen window. We found Chris to be a very attentive and caring owner and would highly recommend this rental for a couple or a family.

Property was just as described in the listing with a spectacular view. We are a family of 4 and had plenty of room and space. We would definitely rent this condo again. The owners were fantastic and checked in with us upon arrival, mid trip, and the day before we left. They answered questions promptly and we had no problems during our stay. We would mostly definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to stay on the beach.

This condo is amazing! Exactly as it is described and how the pictures show. The view from the back deck is beautiful to watch the sun come up. Even better that you have a great view of the beach from the bed in the master bedroom…gorgeous site to wake up to every morning! Chris was great also, checked in with us several times prior to us coming and made sure everything was great while we were there! We loved our stay! Definitely recommend staying here!!

This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a VRBO rental. My wife and I were celebrating our 40th Anniversary and we are so glad we chose this condo unit.
First, the condo unit and the location were perfect. Located on the top floor, this unit was very quiet. We enjoyed stunning views of the morning sunrise overlooking the Gulf of Mexico from our balcony and in the evening we sat on the front porch watching the sunset over South Padre Island and the Bay. This condo was very clean, had great natural lighting, plenty of space, and all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay.
Second, Suntide II, was located in the center of the Island with quick access to everything. I don't think it took us more than 10 minutes to get anywhere on the island. We had our own private gated walkway to the beach and a small pool and hot tub to enjoy on the property. The washer and drier were on the same floor very close to the condo which made it a breeze to do a load of laundry.
Third, and certainly not least, was the owner. Chris was amazing! He was in constant communication with us to make sure that everything was great and we were enjoying our vacation. He let us know when the property was ready for us to check-in and provided his personal contact information if we ever needed anything. We have never had an owner who cared so much about our satisfaction. I can't thank Chris enough for his part in making our 40th Anniversary a huge success.

My husband and I had a three day getaway at the Suntide II at SPI. The owner Chris was awesome with communicating and making sure we got checked in and asked for us to contact him if we had any questions. The condo was very nice, the decor was awesome made it feel so relaxing and homey, it was clean and the oceanfront view was amazing. All you need for cooking or warming up food is there. We enjoyed our stay, watched the sunrise from the bedroom and got some great pics, especially enjoyed sitting out on the balcony every evening listening to the ocean wave sounds with a glass of wine. You can’t go wrong with this two bedroom two bath condo plus the owner makes it easy to check in and check out. We’d definitely stay there again!
