The room was compact, very clean, modern and the king size bed was very comfortable. There was always hot water available for a good shower, nice shower head and good water pressure. Housekeeping staff, kitchen/buffet staff were mostly pleasant. Coffee and tea was replenished daily. The breakfast included with our stay was quite good, well stocked with lots of variety, good coffee machine. We loved the location of this hotel. It was easy for dining options, buses, ferries and good shopping. The lido included with the hotel was a really nice treat. It was spotless the, food and services provided were excellent...very friendly staff. Its 30 Euros per adult per visit and there aren't many available on that strip, therefore, we took full advantage of the free access on the days we took to relax,, have a nice swim and take it easy.
There is limited storage for clothing. We packed clothing for 2 adults for a 2 week trip to cover all kinds of weather situations and daily activities. There was enough closet space but no drawers or cabinets for things like socks underwear, Perhaps a collapsible, hanging, storage item like those found at IKEA for shoes would be recommended to put foldable, clothing items away. The view of from our hotel room was awful and not expected for an advertised `city view, but were only there to change clothing and to sleep at night. There was no bottled water included in the room...even 1 small bottle of water a day would be sufficient. A large portion of our spending budget was used for just drinking water. The hotel does not provide ice, either. Its understandable since there are limited natural drinking water options, but this is a hotel and should provide basic essentials even at the bare minimum. I had read in other reviews about the front desk staff being rude. And it is absolutely true. We were welcomed with open arms when we checked in and went downhill from there on. The front desk staff, especially in the evening were absolutely miserable. We always said hello and have a nice day and they cold hardly mutter anything back. The day staff is much friendlier and helpful. We were offered (we didn`t know it was offered) a breakfast box to go when we arranged our airport transfer as our check out was at 4am the following morning, only to be told by the rude front desk attendant that he was not advised of that and nothing was available.. His glare and tone said it all. This person should reconsider his carrer options as its very clear he is not a people person...along with a handful of others. We hadn't eaten for at least 7 hours. The lobby should have at the very least some packaged biscuits and a coffee machine specifically for guest checking out after 10pm and just skip the boxed meal to go. It seems its too much trouble and lots of miscommunication.

The property is beautiful and has several very convenient services. The luggage lockers are useful, and there is a bathroom with a shower nearby, which is particularly convenient for guests arriving before check-in or leaving after check-out.
The pool area is also very well equipped, with bathrooms, showers, hairdryers and towels provided for guests.
The room was very spacious, clean and had an extremely comfortable bed. It also matched the pictures.
The swimming pool is beautiful, and a special mention must go to the pool staff, who were truly wonderful friendly, helpful and attentive.
Breakfast was also good.
Unfortunately, our check-in experience was not positive. Check-in was strictly at 2:00 pm, but one of the two rooms we had booked was not ready at that time. The main issue was the way the situation was handled by the reception staff: we found them lacking in availability and friendliness, with difficulty managing the problem and providing a clear indication of how long we would have to wait.
We were travelling with a 7-month-old baby and had requested a cot several times. However, when we arrived, the cot was not available and there was a sofa bed instead. We would have expected to be informed.
I asked the reception staff to contact housekeeping to get an estimated waiting time and also pointed out that another room could have been assigned to us. Other rooms were still showing as available online and, considering the inconvenience, we would have expected at least an alternative solution or a complimentary upgrade as a gesture of goodwill.
The room had an unpleasant view (photo attached), and we experienced unpleasant smells both from the bathroom and from outside. Opening the windows was practically impossible because of the smell.
We also believe that more attention should be given to the training of the reception staff, particularly regarding guest welcome, friendliness, communication and the professional handling of problems. Even when an issue is beyond the property’s control, the way it is communicated and managed can make a significant difference to the guest experience.
The swimming pool is located outside the main building and is reached by a short walk. We believe this should be communicated more clearly in the property’s presentation, especially considering the price of the stay and the expectations it may create.
Access to the property was also particularly difficult. The road was closed due to sewage works and was in very poor condition, with many potholes, standing water and unpleasant smells.
