First off, this place is in a fantastic location. Close to Spanish steps, high end shopping, and great eating places. Lots of room and a great space. Front room doesn't have a bathroom of it's own and the person staying in there needs to go through one of the other bedrooms to use one. Minor inconvenience as long as you understand that going in. Something else to know is that the street below can be really noisy around 4 or 5 am when the garbage collection starts. Not a fault of the owners or this place, just something to be aware of.
The place has some definite issues that need consideration.
First of all, lots of mold and mildew in the bathrooms. Kind of gross and something that could be easily managed if it was cleaned properly every checkout.
Next, electrical issues. There were two outlets that were not attached to the walls correctly and had wires sticking out of them. BIG safety issue. There were also a couple of other outlets that did not work at all.
The biggest complaint was the utter lack of hot water pressure. It was a dribble at best. Cold water pressure wasn't an issue. We've stayed in plenty of other VRBOs in Europe and never had a problem with hot water pressure.

Location was perfect. Close to major sites. Check in was easy, and Marco was very responsive and assisted with transport to and from airport. Apartment is well appointed, very clean and tidy. Everything was as described and we would definitely stay here again.

Sadly we arrived in a Sunday afternoon to find the bedroom air conditioners (none in common area) we not working in 106F heat. Our three night stay was pretty miserable, and sadly the owner made no attempt to either have them fixed nor provide fans to hold us over. He did refund some of the costs but that did little to alleviate the unbearable conditions. Will not be returning.

Centrally located. Very large apartment in nice neighborhood

This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment has a spectacular location with the Spanish Steps just a couple blocks away and clearly visible from the building entrance. Located on the first floor, there is one flight of stairs up to the front door of the apartment. The building itself is quite old so the apartment is unique and charming. We were never able to enjoy the patio because we weren’t there much during the day, and the weather was on chilly and wet for much of the five night stay. The master bedroom and living area are directly above a busy restaurant so there is considerable noise until about 11 p.m. The beds and linens were comfortable. One of the three couches in the living room needs to be replaced, and the apartment could use a deep cleaning, but overall we had no complaints. The host Marco was very responsive and promptly returned all messages sent to him through the app. There are tons of restaurants, coffee and gelato shops, and nice boutiques just out the door. There’s a taxi stand around the corner, and many of the sites to see, including the Pantheon and some of the better known piazzas, are within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay again! Thank you, Marco, for allowing us to stay at this beautiful apartment.

We were a multigenerational family traveling together. Four adults ranged 35-62 and a 10-month old baby. Apartment was very large and clean. Kitchen was small, but most European kitchens are. Perfect location, walking distance to all sites. Literally 5 minutes from Spanish Steps, you can see them from the front door!! Communication with owner was excellent. We would most definitely stay here again!

The location is only one of the great things about this apartment. Busy area, close to so much but a quiet street. There is an outdoor seating restaurant right outside the living room windows. It was a little loud but did not bother us and they closed by 10:00 pm. We left the windows open to hear the life going on outside. Closing them made a huge difference with the noise. Very easy to get to by taxi from the airport.
The owner, Marco was very helpful with questions about our stay. The nice gentleman who let us into the apartment was also very helpful. Both tried to work around our arrival time. We had a few questions which were promptly answered.
The apartment is so much cooler than the photos. Feels very much like being in Rome. Lots of open space. Beds were comfortable with extra blanket hidden under one of the mattresses. The kitchen is small. I would not want to cook in it but it was fine for reheating. Washer on patio works great.
I would definitely recommend this apartment. This was my 6th time in Rome and my favorite place to stay. We were a party of 4 adults, one couple and two singles. The apartment can sleep more than that. Enjoy your stay

The location and size of the apartment was perfect. Communication with the property manager was excellent.
The apartment is a bit tired looking and could do with a good clean in particular kitchen, bathroom with shower cubicle and terrace. Electrics need attention and when describing the property it should be noted to access bathrooms both are ensuite so you have to go through a bedroom which was difficult for people in 3rd bedroom especially in the middle of the night.

Very central to everything. A bit awkward for bathroom use as no central bathroom so for us one couple was always having to go through others bedroom. A bit run down, outside patio unkept. Not the cleanest. Location was very central and communication with owner was very good.

Great location
Large and historic space in a 17th century building. Location is great. It’s very close to Spanish steps and walking distance to all major tourist sites. Master bedroom is small and shower is small. Second bath has tub and only hand held shower. Master bathroom could use a deep clean. Outdoor patio is a nice feature but also needs cleaning.

Everything about this apartment was great. The apartment was lovely and very spacious. It is well equipped and comfortable. It is clean and modern. It is located very central: 5 min walk to Piazza di Spagna, 20 min walk to Vatican City, 30 min walk to Collosseo. Our host Marco was welcoming and very nice. He accommodated our requests and was very helpful in providing touristic information or some good restaurants. Marco also helped us on the day we were leaving. Thank you Marco!
We highly recommend this apartment! We would love to come back!

Excellent location and spacious apartment. I definitely recommend it

The apartment is pretty big and in a great location. It's easy to reach from Termini and convenient to most top sights in Rome. Marco's communication and flexibility was excellent. There are also downsides however. Many little details in the apartment require repairs. The terrace is in bad shape, I would not wish to sit outside. The kitchen needs work and in no way feels luxurious. Finally, the apartment has little natural light. Overall, we had a very good time, but the apartment requires some maintenance to be great again. Thanks!

We were a party of three women traveling together. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, we each had our own space and didn't have to schedule bathroom time. :) The apartment has plenty of space and feels more like a home than an apartment/hotel. Our favorite "room" was the terrace!
The kitchen is well-equipped and, while small, was perfect for breakfast and leftovers. We did not plan to cook meals, though we could have.
Communication with Marco was great and timely. We had a small maintenance issue (no fault of the host - sometimes things break) that was resolved within a few hours of being reported. Marco's concern for our inconvenience was apparent and appreciated. He also assisted with transportation from/to the airport, making the whole process seamless and easy. We would stay here again!!

Great Location
Marco was extremely easy to communicate with and was very quick to respond to inquiries. The apartment was spacious overall. The kitchen was fully equipped but a bit small. The location was ideal…walking distance to most of the historic sites…less than 5 minutes to the Spanish Steps and 30 minutes to the Colosseum.
Overall a wonderful experience.

We spent 3 nights in Rome and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Lots of room for our family of 5, central to all the main attractions, and the air conditioning was very much appreciated! Marco was also a great help and made the check-in and check-out process fast and easy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Rome.

Very centrally located, steps from Spanish Stairs, and wonderfully clean and spacious.
My family had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Rome. The apartment is centrally locally, in the middle of the high-fashion district. The main street leads to the Spanish Steps, and many good restaurants, bars and shops. The apartment was very clean. We were met and welcomed by Marco, who personally showed us eveyrthing in the apartment. Marco was kind enough to provide coffee and some fresh food and milk as we arrived late in the evening. Since it is on the first level (1 level above stree level) it had a private courtyard and outside laundry wash machine. The apartment was well stocked with a full kitchen and large living room with large television. The beds were very comportable, and there were plenty of towels and extra linens. The apartment had a secure entry and easy, fast WiFi. Overall, his was a centrally located stay and very clean. It made my family very happy. Thank you Marco, we will be back!

Great place and a great host!
The apartment is nice and open just a few blocks from the Spanish steps and is a great launching point for all the sights. Marco was great at check in and was easy to communicate with before arrival.

Marco was easy to deal with.

Fabulous location in Rome
Lovely spacious apartment, great location.
Marco was a great host providing supplies to start our visit (milk, water, coffee, breakfast croissants) and also allowed us to stay later than agreed departure time as I was unwell. This was very much appreciated.
The only drawback is the lay out. The only bathrooms are en suite to 2 of the bedrooms. This would be fine when travelling with family but we were in a group of 3 couples. However it did not detract from us having a fantastic holiday in Rome and would recommend this apartment to others

Location is everything
Wonderful space within easy walking distance of many of the sites. Unfortunately when we arrived at 3pm the apartment had not been cleaned. Surprising as Marco was very insistent on setting an arrival time 2 weeks ahead. Apartment a little bit dated compared to online photos. 2 of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms as there isn’t a 3rd bathroom makes it challenging for those using 3rd bedroom. Otherwise this is an amazing place and Marco is a nice host.

Perfect location for exploring Rome
Marco’s place is in a great location within walking distance of everything. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are spacious and yes the kitchen is small but manageable. The apartment would benefit from some art on the walls or a couple of personal touches to make it feel more cozy. The terrace could definitely use some upkeep as it was quite dirty and the outdoor furniture is not comfortable. Marco was out of town when we arrived but his cleaning staff met us and allowed us to store our luggage early since we arrived before check-in. I am certain it would have been a nicer check in experience if Marco had been there to greet us! Air conditioning worked great which was essential in the month of August. Overall a great place to stay.

Fantastic location
Our family of 5 had a great stay at Marco’s apartment and he was a most awesome host, having milk, bottled water, coffee and even croissants there for us so we did not have to go to the store immediately. He also assisted us in setting up our transportation to the airport on our departure day which was at 5:30 in the morning. It was also great to have a washing machine to do a couple of loads of laundry. And the location was perfect for us...you can see the Spanish Steps from the front door of the apartment and we were close to several great restaurants. Overall a great experience!

Excellent value and location
The write up is very accurate—great location, roomy apartment (small kitchen though), Marco was very friendly when he met us, great for families. The apartment is rented a lot so there was some overdue maintenance (several light bulbs needed replacement, one outlet was broken and hanging out of the wall, lots of light switches that don’t connect to anything, coffee maker was broken), but these were minor compared to great air conditioning in a big heat wave and a fantastic location! Also, the apartment is very close to a supermarket which was very convenient. Overall, we were very happy.

Perfect location and property manager very accommodating.
This property is walking distance from everything you will want to see. Property manager worked with us to drop luggage off before check in and leave it a bit after check out. Had all the staples, milk, coffee and croissants waiting for us upon arrival. Would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful apartment in central Rome
My family of 6 stayed at this property. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. You see the Spanish steps from the front door and can walk to many Rome must sees. Grocery is a few steps away as are many restaurants and shopping. Will definitely book this property again when we return to Rome.

Amazing location
Large property in an amazing location close to everything in Rome. Walk to Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. close to tour bus routes. Large size with plenty of space for 3 couples,. Downside is that both bathrooms are in the 2 bedrooms, so the 3rd couple would have to walk through the room of one of the others. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was fine. Kitchen was tiny but had a useable fridge and freezer. We didn’t use it for cooking. Owner is very responsive. We have no complaints.

Spacious apartment in a great location
First of all, Marco was a fabulous host. He welcomed us at his apartment and gave us detailed instructions about the entire apartment. He is a very warm and friendly guy and provided some great recommendations for restaurants. As many of the reviews state, the kitchen is quite small, but we weren't planning on cooking....too many great restaurants within easy walking distance. I wish we could have used the outdoor area more, but it was pretty rainy the entire time we were there. It would be a great spot to relax with a drink if the weather cooperates.
There is a large dining room that we used to organize our luggage as well as a very large living area. The three bedrooms were spacious as well. The apartment is not super fancy, but it was very clean and very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.
Marco arranged to have a driver pick up our group (6 adults with an obscene amount of luggage) at the airport in a large van. I believe we paid 60/65 euros and it was well worth it. It was about a 45-minute ride.
