What's nearby: This condo is right across the street from the sugar white sands of the spectacular Emerald Coast. You're also down the road from dining at The Crab Trap or Tuscany Italian Bistro. This vacation rental is within four miles of three top-notch golf courses, with shopping at Silver Sands Outlet Mall and the Destin Commons each a short drive away. Destin is famous for its incredible Gulf Coast dining and diving charters, many which are less than 10 miles from your door. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The place is literally across from the beach! Its perfect. Quiet area that doesnt feel too "touristy" it feels like home immediately. Not too crowded on the beach.
The home was beautiful and inviting plenty of space for a small family or a couple. AC works great! Master bathroom was very nice.

Stayed here for a long weekend with some friends. The location was unbeatable, the property was modern and clean. Instructions were easy to follow and communication was efficient. Highly recommend!

Great location. Villa needs a major deep clean. The couch needs to be replaced and the rugs needs to go. They have gotten wet and smell.

Upon first look all was fine then we found black mold in the bathroom, the lights were burned out, or turn on a switch and the fan would stay on no matter if the switch was on or off. When I reached out to Vacasa for assistance, they were kind enough to send help completely unannounced and in the middle of my baby's nap. We tried to use the vacuum and it just sprayed the contents of the bag into the room. The dishes were dirty and broken when we arrived. The microwave is rusted and is a health hazard to use. Roaches in the shower and in the kitchen floor. Would not recommend or stay again.

We liked the location but the unit is tired , noisy from upstairs guests and in need of updates-
The place was cleaned but not thoroughly (red sticky stuff in fridge, on counters and dirty towels like they were left on the ground)- also roaches at night in the kitchen. The supplies lack cutting board , no non stick cookware- we let Vacasa know via email and never heard back from them to acknowledge our feedback .

Perfect unit for two! Great location right across the street from the beach. Not too crowded. The unit needs a bit of TLC but overall would book again.

The view was beautiful out the front and back. But the unit was very worn down the furniture looked dirty.

This was a great location. The amenities with the pool, walk across the street to the beach, hotel style complementary items such as dishwasher packs and laundry packs was a great plus. We opened the closet to find a broom to sweep up crumbs and found the treasure of beach umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards etc. This was the greatest treasure for the children and myself traveling over 6 hours away our items to bring were limited and not having to purchase or rent these items was great. The only down side we had was cleanliness. We had a terrible ant and gnat infestation. The last night we were there we had two large roaches in the kitchen and a long night of terror with the kids. You could tell it didn’t have a recent pest control maintenance. The dust was pretty bad it was bugging the kids allergies. I did send a feedback response and they stated they would have the cleaning staff take care of it upon our check out.

Proximity to the beach was a perfect! Loved being able to walk easily to beach - no wagon full of beach items needed and no worries of where to park. Just go back if you need something. Loved the back porch and front porch. Nice to sit with coffee in the morning and watch the rain come in. Easy walking distance to several beachside restaurants. (Cap’n Dave’s is the best!) Lots of soaps and amenities we didn’t have to buy. Wifi was pretty good, had to unplug and reboot the router a few times when it cut off (which fixed it). The pool was great- we had it to ourselves around noon one day. Nice change from sand, saltwater, and waves knocking you over. Nice to have washer/dryer to wash clothes before leaving.
Cons- jute area rug had sand under it that made it move/slide when walking. We swept under it when we left, and there’s no way all the sand was from us. Upstairs neighbors were loud with slamming doors and running up stairs at 11:00pm and later. We saw a cockroach under the fridge our last day early in the morning while packing to leave.
I’d stay again, but choose the upstairs villa for better views front and back, and not have to hear the stomping around late at night.

We really enjoyed the stay in Destiny Beach villa! Condo is really in the good location, well equipped, additional extra's provided (bathroom and kitchen items) makes life easier if you stay just for couple of days. The only things to improve would be changing the trash bin as it looks terrible. Also, we ranked the cleanness to be 5 at the beginning but later noticed that there were lots of sand and even small trashes under the carpet which wasn't visible at the beginning. So some small things could be improved, but in general very good place to stay in Destin! We loved it :)

I prefer staying on the bottom floor so I don’t have to carry things upstairs but, the family that stayed above us weren’t exactly quiet late at night. At times they sounded like a herd of elephants…..swear. Also at night when we sat around watching tv I couldn’t find any blankets anywhere, extra ones to just cover up with. I did find sheets but they were for the fold out couch in the living room. So if you rent this room maybe bring some blankets. This was also my first time that I haven’t stayed right on the beach. I thought we would try something different. I did like it. It was perfect for us. My 5 year old son loves the beach.

Will definitely be booking again
Close and convenient to the beach! The balcony view over the lake is amazing! It was so calm and peaceful to sit out and feed the fish, turtles, and birds. The space was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Other than missing a few easy info and cooking utensils, we had a perfect stay!

Only negative point is that we have to leave the house already at 10:00 am. So a big part of your vacation is lost therefore. And some more bed stuff would be great for the sofa bed.

The 6B villa was very nice and had everything we needed have a wonderful vacation. Maybe a upgrade for a box spring under the mattress, a blanket and keep the bug guy coming.

My wife and I chose to stay at this wonderful establishment because of the pictures of the place. But believe me they do not do it justice. From the moment you walk in you feel right at home. It is really quiet there. The kitchen is fully stocks with utensils and pots and pans for you to use. Which my wife was surprised at. She loved the fact there was a broom and made me use it when I dropped my cookie. The location was excellent. Close to the beach or if you want to go shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
