About this house rental
Charming, sunny, quiet single-family home (70 m²) with a view of a protected area? 300 m to the Baltic Sea beach? Boltenhagen town center 700m away. This vacation home for up to 6 people offers all the amenities for a relaxing vacation and is tastefully decorated. On the first floor, there is a living/dining area with a kitchenette, a cozy living room, and a fireplace (including a dishwasher); as well as a bedroom and a bathroom with a washing machine. From the living/dining area, you have access to the sunny terrace. Upstairs is another bedroom with storage space available. The entrance to the house serves as a second terrace. Next to the entrance is a separate storage area for a grill, bicycles, and patio furniture. Additionally: Central heating, satellite TV, stereo/CD player, cot, ironing board, and iron. There are large lawns for relaxing and playing on the property. The house was built in 1998 and has since been completely renovated, among other things. Installation of a new guest bathroom on the first floor in 2014, new bathroom in 2015, new living room in 2016, and a new bedroom on the first floor in 2017, and a new kitchen in 2018

Activities: Baltic Sea spa with a seawater pool, boat rentals, diving school, sauna, solarium. Movie theater, playgrounds, 25-kilometer bike paths, bike rentals, gym facilities. Wonnemar Water Park in Wismar (25 km).
Excursions: Butterfly House, Bothmer Klutz Castle in the neighboring town (10 km)
Historic Hanseatic cities (with the old town and harbor) in Wismar (25 km), Lübeck (45 km), and Rostock (80 km)
Schwerin with its beautiful castle overlooking the lake (50 km)
Boat trips to Insel Poel, Travemünde, Wismar, and Grömitz.
Timmendorfer Beach “Sea Life” is easily accessible via the ferry from Travemünde.
Open-air museum in Schönberg (25 km).

Saubere gemütliche Wohnung mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten (Waschmaschine, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Küchenzeile, Babybett, Babystuhl, diverse gesellschaftsspiele, Schuppen mit Bollerwagen und Grill). Super waren auch die vielen abstellmöglichkeiten durch Einbauschränke. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Terasse war ziemlich zu gewachsen und dadurch etwas dunkel

Wir haben eine schöne Woche in dem Haus verbracht, es ist alles da, was man so braucht und das Haus ist top renoviert. Man kann alles zu Fuß oder per Rad erledigen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Komfortabler Check Inn per Schlüsselbox. Super geräumiges und modernes Haus mit zwei Bädern auf zwei Stockwerken. Große, ruhige Sonnenterrasse. Eigener Parkplatz direkt am Haus. Schnelles Internet und nur ein paar Gehminuten bis zum wunderschönen Sandstrand. Mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen. Einfach Perfekt. Wir werden wiederkommen!

Wir waren eine Woche zum Strandurlaub als Familie in der Unterkunft. Alles in Allem hat es uns gut gefallen, aber es gab auch leider ein paar Abstriche:
- der Kinderhochstuhl war in die Jahre gekommen und hatte keinen Durchrutschschutz mehr (unsere kleinste ist 10 Monate)
- die Babybett-Matratze hatte leider Urinflecken von Vorgängern
- der Staubsauger sog keinen Schmutz auf und einen Besen gab es nicht - nur Schrubber oder blanker Stil... wir haben den Sand vom Strand und anderen groben Schmutz also mit dem Kehrblech weg gemacht
- uns fehlten Insektengitter an den Fenstern - bei Anreise waren überall Mücken im Haus vom Lüften nach dem Vorgänger und das Erdgeschoss wimmelte von Spinnen in jeder Ecke und Größe
- die Hecke/die Sträucher auf der Terasse sind so hoch und dicht gewachsen, dass wir nicht einmal draußen gesessen haben, da keine Sonne durch kam, es frisch war, und von Mücken dort wimmelte - leider keine gemütliche Atmosphäre für einen schönen Grillabend
- durch die Mücken vor Ort gab es durch Vorgänger auch so manche Flecken an Wänden und Decke - die sollte man ggf regelmäßig mal überpinseln
- bis auch Küche, Bad und Kleines Schlafzimmer, wirkte alles irgendwie zusammengewürfelt und teilweise abgegriffen (z.B. Wohnzimmertisch)
- im Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss sollte man evtl eine Milchglasfolie o.ä. anbringen, da man dort wie auf dem Präsentierttisch für die Nachbarschaft ist (wir hatten eigentlich non-Stop das Rollo unten und dann eben leider Licht an)
Um aber auch die positiven Dinge nicht außen vor zu lassen:
- die Oberflächen waren alle Sauber, kein Staub oder Schmutz
- Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und auch sonst war viel da, wie Wäscheständer, Bügelbrett, Waschmaschine usw. (Zustand eben nur teilweise nicht so gut)
- die Lage ist super, der Strandzugang nicht weit entfernt und die Anlage Familienfreundlich mit Spielplatz und auch Bäckerstand an der Zufahrt zur Siedlung.
Alles in allem haben wir einen schönen Urlaub gehabt und konnten die Zeit genießen. Auf die Spinnen-Mitbewohner hätten wir gerne verzichtet.
