Gorgeous historic home updated with every modern convenience. My family met here to celebrate Christmas and it was the perfect place for us. Walking distance to many restaurants, breweries and shops. Short drive to downtown area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This house was definitely a 5*!! This was a girls weekend in Asheville. We toured Biltmore and downtown Asheville. The rest of the time was spent at this wonderful house. We cooked in the chefs kitchen. It has everything we needed to prepare our meals. The beds were very comfortable! There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The owner was very easy to get a hold of. We will definitely stay at this property again if we’re in the area.

We come to Asheville every year for a mountain biking trip. We’ve been doing the trip for about 10 years. This house is our favorite mainly because of the location. You can walk all of West Asheville and it’s super conveniently located next to two of our favorite breakfast places and a new favorite dinner spot. The house is very unique and I would highly recommend.

Want to feel like you stepped back in time, but stay in an updated and modern home? This is it. We really enjoyed the charm of the Jarrett House - listed on the National Register of Historic Places! Plenty of room to spread out, great kitchen with very modern appliances - all around a great stay!!

The home was beautiful, very clean and in a nice location. But, a few things were inconvenient. The house is not a four bedroom, it has a blowup mattress that can be used on the floor. And the three bedrooms are upstairs which makes it difficult for guests with mobility issues. Also, the one parking place is not very user friendly if you have a large vehicle. But we did have a wonderful visit to Asheville.

The house was amazing! Very clean and well appointed. There were some questionable people walking near the property but we had no issues. It’s close to great restaurants and the grocery store. It’s also close to the main attractions.

Mitch’s place was a perfect landing spot for our group of three couples. We really enjoyed learning about the house’s history, and it was clearly restored with care. The house was spotless and well-appointed. The beds were so comfortable and we all enjoyed the communal spaces in the house and the outside patio. It’s walkable to all of west Asheville and just a short drive from downtown or the River Arts District. The only downside was only one stand-up shower out of the three bathrooms, but we made it work. Communication with Mitch was great with tons of good recommendations for our stay.

The home and location are fantastic and the house was well-appointed with starter supplies. The only issue is that the 4th bedroom has a blowup mattress; I wish the listing had clarified that. Beautiful property

A girls trip to Asheville.
The house is a beautifully restored Victorian with a good location and extremely clean, but it is on a very noisy, busy street.
It is listed as a 4 bedroom. IT IS NOT. It is a 3 bedroom with an air mattress you can put in the den to make a 4th bedroom. It is specified in the listing, but in the fine print and I missed it. I felt duped. It should be listed as a 3 bedroom because that is what it is.

House was perfect for us 6 adults and 2 couples and 2 singles. Would have
preferred if one of the rooms had an option for two single beds. Or a pullout couch in the small living room would have been perfect for our combination of adults.

We planned this trip with our daughter for her birthday getaway. The house was wonderful as was the location. The host responded to us quickly and efficiently :) when we had questions. His recommendations were on point and we enjoyed many of them. We will plan another trip with our other children and family soon!!

We loved our stay at this house! It was the cleanest property we have ever experienced. The updates were very nice. I loved using the claw foot tub upstairs. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would need and more! We loved the outdoor seating area. Very close proximity to several places we wanted to go. Walking distance to Ingles and a great pizza place and breakfast place! Would love to stay here again one day.

Our family had a lovely time at this property. Walking to restaurants was easy and you are close enough to basically everything else to drive to visit or pick up from. Grocery store is steps away. Recommend the pastries at the OWL bakery about a mile away... easy drive. The house itself was clean and cozy and felt elegant with all the decorative touches. Communication with owner was easy! Thank you so much!

The property is lovely and well cared for by a responsive host. We’ve stayed twice with various friends and all agree that it’s the best option for staying close to everything with the comfort of feeling like you’re home.

Stayed here for UNCA graduation with my family of 6. Amazing outdoor gathering space and plenty of room on the inside as well. Property manager was always prompt in responding to my questions. Super clean, more than enough towels for everyone! ( why is this even an issue at some places???) Very cozy home in a perfect location. Thank you for allowing us to stay and use your space to celebrate our daughter!

My family and I loved this property! It was elegant, but at the same time, sooo comfortable! It had so much personality and charm. We loved its historical features, blissful bathtub options, attractive furnishings, relaxing fireplaces, and its overall ability to inspire coziness and enchantment. It also had a great patio area with string lights for ambiance. We loved the spacious, fenced yard with the option to close the driveway gate to let our dog have a chance to run around. The amazing bath I had by the fireplace will be hard to beat in the future and may call for a return visit. My young boys also loved the property. Their favorites were reading their books in big cozy leather chairs, playing chess and other board games by the fire in the super cozy parlor, playing with snow in the yard, and having their own turns in one of the claw foot tubs. The Vrbo photos do not do the property full justice. It is simply lovely! This property is also very convenient. We were in walking distance of award winning/ top rated restaurants, an Ingles grocery, and more. We were only about 10 minutes from our planned visit to Biltmore. We had such a wonderful time at this property.
