About this house rental
Nestled in Ono Island, this charming house for $408 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Located in Perdido Key Coves, a private waterfront community, with WiFi, this 3 bedroom 2 & 1/2 bath house with additional outdoor shower is perfect for your vacation. Being in the middle of the State Park is ideal with no development on the Gulf to block your view. Quiet beach is just a short walk away with dedicated beach access where you can find seashells, swim, go fishing, watch the sunrise and take amazing photographs of the family having fun. Very spacious master bedroom and bath is on main floor with large tv. Two more bedrooms upstairs with two full size beds in each bedroom and a bathroom located in between. An open, spacious living area with 55" flat screen tv, dining room table that seats 6 and large kitchen with bar that seats 4 contains everything you need and opens up to a deck with table and 4 chairs and 2 rocking chairs overlooking the water with a dock and 4 teak chairs with 2 umbrellas to relax on the dock. There is also a hammock, 2 adult bikes and beach chairs for use.

PROS: The home was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, the location was close to the beach and at the time of year we were there, the beach was secluded. It was great to have the dock for fishing and relaxing. It was easy to communicate via text with the owner. The neighbors that share the duplex were really nice to talk with and helpful when we had some issues with the keypad.
CONS: It would be nice if each bathroom had 2 rolls of TP and there were more paper towels and trashbags. We had to go out and purchase all of these things. We were there for 12 days and it just seemed to us like some of the basic necessities were not there for the duration of our time. The ice maker did not work, so we also had to purchase ice. We spent a lot of time on the dock and the wood furniture was really in need of repair or replacement. Arms were missing, the wood was flaking and overall really unstable for the most part. The chains on the bikes were rusty and the pedals wouldn't move, so we couldn't really use them for biking around the neighborhood.
All in all, it was a good place in a good location, but just needing a bit of updating/repair of some of the things.

House was welcoming and well appointed. Located on a canal to the Ole River with state park beach access 2 blocks away. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Very nice beach house with everything needed for a weeks stay. The only complaint my be the outdoor furniture on the dock. Wasn’t comfortable and not very sturdy. Other than that, everything else was was great. We had so much fun during our stay!

Traveling with 2 teens we need space and this was perfect. Master on the main. The walk to the beach is very hot so took the car just up to a public beach. We really enjoyed the dock behind the house and spent more time there. We had awful weather off and on so the covered porch was used a lot too. Would definitely stay here again if we go back to perdido. Plenty of restaurants within 20 minutes or so too.

Cindy's place was beautiful, and clean. Communication and check in was easy as well. I loved sitting in the back deck drinking my coffee every morning. The outdoor furniture needs an update but Im sure as a renter, that will happen in the future. The inside and outside were perfect for enjoyment and relaxation. We hit the beach everyday! The walk was longer than I expected but I think Hurricane Sally had something to do with that. My kids loved the dock and swam in the bay several times. We were blessed to see dolphins swimming in the bay as well and that was such a neat experience. There is plenty of wildlife to see. The area is family friendly and we would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for letting us rent your beautiful home. It's truly a hidden jem.

This home is so comfortable, relaxing, and clean. It was less than a mile from our favorite beach location. It's right on the water so we were frequently out fishing and checking our crab traps. At night, they have a green light for night fishing. We aren't the best at fishing but the kids thought the light was cool because it allowed us to see lot of fish that were swimming around the light. My favorite part of the house was the porch upstairs and the hammock underneath. So relaxing and yet I could still be close enough to be included with what the kids were doing. The neighbors were nice. The street is quiet. They have an outside shower that we used to rinse off after the beach to help keep the sand to a minimum in the house. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. The owners are easy to get ahold of and are quick to respond. It's definitely my favorite beach house we have stayed at in the years we have been coming to gulf shores. Its a hidden treasure that I'm so glad we stumbled upon. We cannot wait to start planning next year. Thank you for opening your home for us to borrow for our 2 week vacation 🥰

The property is gorgeous, has everything you would ever need (especially kitchen things), and is perfect for bringing a boat or fishing off the dock. We were even able to park our boat trailer on the property with plenty of room to spare. We look forward to returning again in the future!!

love the location
we enjoyed our stay. property location was great. we brought a pontoon boat and was able to leave it in the canal behind the house. the home is at the end of the canal so no through traffic from other boats allowed us to float in the canal to keep cool. the kids loved fishing off the canal in the evening. we would definately come back

Great place and location! The beach within walking distance wasn’t crowded. Multiple others beaches a short drive away. The neighborhood was clean and quiet. Had a great time. Easy access to areas in Florida and Alabama.

Extremely helpful
Cindy and Richard were very helpful with a couple of minor problems we had operating the Wi-Fi and the door lock. They answered immediately and rapidly solved the problem. It made us feel supported as we enjoyed the many features of the property.

Would give 5 stars but somethings advertised was not available or currently working. Really looking forward to night fishing but dock light didn't work. House and location was great. Still lots of damage and construction going on in area. Would stay again. Kids loved it, quite street to safely walk around.

Absoultely amazing!
We absolutely loved the property! This was our first experience renting a house instead of a condo, and there is no going back now! :) We brought our boat for the stay, which the pier had the perfect accommodations for. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The only thing that would have topped our stay would've been an ice maker, but even that was not a big deal because Publix and several gas stations were nearby. The owners had great communication during the booking process and the stay. Thank you so much!! Looking forward to coming back next year! :)
