About this house rental
Located in Colorado Springs, this charming house for $502 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Find The Gathering House in a sweet neighborhood close to the mountains on the peaceful West side. Enjoy a Perfect VIEW of Pikes Peak. Open the back gate to open-space, trails, & a sledding hill. Centrally located & close by scenic Garden of the gods, Pulpit Rock, Ute Valley Park & USAFA. Enjoy nearby restaurants, a fire indoors or out, a large yard, twinkle light patio & fire pit. New kitchen! The home is comfy, cozy, & warm. Perfect for gathering. Welcome & have Fun! NO CATS & NO SMOKING! (We are super allergic.) Thank you! Also, if you smoke outback, please extinguish all cigarette buts in the fire pit. We have a very DRY open space behind us for part of the year. The location & view are a gem. The Gathering House is a tri-level home. 3 Bedrooms upstairs, 3 baths, a living room, family room, dining room, laundry room, & remodeled kitchen. The family room has comfy couches, a TV, a console with gaming system, & board games as well. The kitchen should have the utensils and appliances you need, including a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, bottle opener, etc. The Master bedroom has a large walk-in closet, attached bath, and a vintage toddler bed. You also have access to the garage. There is a large backyard with trails that start right behind the house. There is a park with play equipment just a five minute walk away on Delmonico. This house is 10 minutes from Garden of the Gods, 10 minutes from USAFA, 10 minutes from Downtown, Old Colorado City is 10 minutes away, & Manitou and the Incline are 15-20. So centrally located. You can access the top 3 floors, garage, front and back yard, & open space. You will not have access to the basement. We will have the basement door locked for safety reasons because all the homes utilities are not closeted. You will have access to 1/2 of the two car garage & garage door opener. We will have our old mercedes parked on the left side. It is currently not running or we would love to offer it to you to use. :)

This house was great for our family. We had two families meet together, and the house met our needs. The backyard was a big highlight for the kids (ages 13 to 2). The toddler bed and pack n play were perfect for our young kids. The location was great. We did run out of hot water in the master bedroom shower a couple of times, but we were competing with the other shower, so somerhing to note for big groups! Shelly was wonderful to communicate with, and she was helpful when we couldn't figure out the lockpad for the door. My son keeps asking to go back!

This property served our 7 member party well. The house was spacious. The view from the backyard was breathtaking. I didn’t do any cooking (I was on vacation) but the kitchen appeared to be well stocked with what one would need. The air conditioner worked very well. It was located within a reasonable driving distance to many points of interest. We had a great time and would return if headed back to COS.

The location was ideal - centrally located in a nice safe neighborhood - the owner/manager was in contact with us - we had a question that was answered promptly - the view from the back yard was wonderful!

We loved our stay at this property! The home was clean and in a great location to explore pike’s peak and garden of the gods. It had a beautiful view from the back yard and we loved the deck to relax on in the evenings.

2 night stay
This home was perfect for our family of 5. Our teenage boys all had a bed of their own and this is a big plus. Didn't stay long enough to take advantage of the beautiful kitchen or the fire pit in the backyard. The view from the backyard is awesome!! Would definitely rent again from Shelly if we are in the area.

very cozy property with a view that was better than I remembered from the pictures. House was stocked with basic essentials and directions were clear. I do wish there was a better place for our trash, as the outside cans were full.

The backyard view and access to the rockrimmon open space was incredible. We saw mule deer, rabbits, owls, magpie, huge grass hoppers all in the back area. The property manager, Shelly was super easy to work with, and the house was clean and ready. Very pleased!

The home owners gave us complete privacy and were quick to respond to texts and emails. The house is close to restaurants, shopping, and all the “hot spots” such as Garden of Gods/pikes peak/etc. Something to consider is having your groceries delivered to the house (Safeway). We did that and it made it easy to prepare some meals at the house without wasting vacation time at a grocery store!

Fantastic View!
This property provided the perfect setting for our weekend in Colorado Springs. We had 6 people staying here for the weekend and it allowed us the space to have a sense of community that you just don't get in a hotel! Great location and you just can't beat the view from the backyard. If you are spending time in Colorado Springs the Gathering House is an excellent choice!

The perfect home for a family vacation
The Gathering House is a wonderful place to stay; plenty of room and all the amenities you could hope for. The location is fantastic with a great view to the west, and easy access to I-25 and all the attractions in the Colorado Springs area. Shopping, restaurants, and fuel are close by, also. Don’t be surprised if you walk out to find urban deer relaxing in the front yard. Shelly was always quick to reply to my questions.

Great view!
We enjoyed the view of Pikes Peak from the backyard of the gathering house and the open space with hiking trails. It was hazy during our visit but we could still watch the sun going down behind the mountains. There was a fire ban so we didn't get to try the fire pit and s'mores that Shelly furnished the ingredients for.
We appreciated the fresh flowers and that each bedroom had a luggage stand.
Shelly was an awesome host and answered my questions promptly and gave me info on what to do in Colorado Springs.
The house was nicely decorated and clutter free which made it suitable for the 10 mo old with us.
It was conveniently located to the attractions we wanted to see. We just ran out of time!
I would stay here again.

Absolutely a very relaxing, clean and beautiful house!
Our family just recently spent a week at this place and were very happy with the cleanliness of this house. The beds were comfortable, and so were the couches and sitting arrangements throughout the house. The kitchen was very clean and tidy. The furniture and decor through out the house was very pleasant. The backyard view of the mountains was breathtaking... The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Using a code to get in and out of the house was super nice and easy. One complaint we did have was that the upstairs stayed very warm. The downstairs stayed nice and cool, but it seems that the AC might not be zoned properly for the upstairs. Other than that, we plan on returning again next year!

This property was exactly what I was looking for! I rented it for my bridesmaids and I to stay the night before my wedding! Shelly was so accommodating and respoded quickly for questions! The decorations were so cute and was very clean! The house has excellent views of Pikes Peak! I would highly recommend this property fr your stay! Excellent!!!

This was a clean home with lots of room for my family of four. It is ideally located for local attractions like the Garden of the gods. There is a really nice spot in the backyard for a fire pit and s’mores!

Wonderful setting for our celebration!
We very much enjoyed "The Gathering House" to host my daughter's graduation party this past weekend! We liked the decor, the remodeled kitchen was great to stage our food, the outdoor space was great to have several groups of people visiting and playing yard games, and we all LOVED the view!
Shelly was very accommodating host who worked with our schedule and making sure we could get in early to drop food off in the fridge to help our day go more easily. I let her know about a couple of minor improvements that would make to the house even better and she was very thankful for the information.
