Lore is a great host. She met us at the house for an orientation tour which was fantastic. She had the house decorated for Xmas which we really appreciated. Due to the weather we didn’t walk to the Quarter but it is very walkable for the average person. Lyft/Ubers were readily available. The kitchen is well stocked. We found the beds comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Highly recommend Lore’s property.

Whether we were headed for City Park or the French Qtr or Magazine St, we were never too far away (by car). Our host provided for all needs, such as umbrellas for the rainy days and towels by the pool in case the sun came out. Lore was very responsive even for small requests like new batterie's for the remote. We had room to spread out and room to hang out. This was a great selection for our family of adults.

The property is everything, New Orleans. The house is older, yet historic. You can feel the culture of the city when you walk through the front gate. The colors and decor really bring the house to life.
The outside oasis made you feel as if you were at a resort. The foliage, salt water pool, and the huge space was just what we needed after exploring the city in the heat.
Lore was the best to communicate with. She gave us a tour of the property upon arrival and showed us how things worked. She is probably the best property manager I've ever dealt with.
You wont regret your stay. If you love culture and history, this is the place to stay.

Lorè is the perfect Hostess. House is amazing.

If you fell in love with the property from the photos, let me tell you that they do not do this place justice. High ceilings, gorgeous details, calming aesthetic, and tranquil oasis! Lore as your host is great; I had made some mistakes with my reservation that I didn't notice until the last minute so she called me and we chatted to clear everything up. We came to New Orleans as a bachelorette party of ladies in our 30s from different parts of the country so the flexible check in and check out was so helpful. Unfortunately after checking out, most of the group got their flight canceled due to severe storms but thankfully Lore let them come back to stay instead of them sleeping in the airport. When I'm back in New Orleans I'd love to stay here again and maybe set aside some more time to enjoy that pool and patio!

This house is amazing! Historic charm with a beautiful backyard. Just wait till you see it lit up in the evening! Hostess Lore was so kind, helpful, and very attentive to our needs! All 8 guests were really impressed with her hospitality. If we come back to NOLA we would, without a doubt, book this property again and we would 1000% recommend it to friends!

This beautiful, classic New Orleans home was a perfect spot to enjoy the company of my friends (8 of us), as we reunited from across the country during French Quarter Fest, 2023. We drank and sang in the tiki bar, watching the rain come down. And when the sun and heat returned, the pool was a great escape. Inside, there's plenty of room to comfortably hang out or hideaway.
The short drive, bike ride (bikes provided on-site), or walk to the French Quarter offer a nice opportunity to see the neighborhoods slightly off the beaten path.
And Lore, our gracious host, was easily accessible and a great resource for New Orleans tips and recos.
Enjoy. I know you will...

For some in our group this was our first visit to NOLA, and it was an amazing experience thanks in large part to the house in Treme. The location was excellent, just a short Uber ride to the French Quarter, shopping, restaurants and bars. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out and hanging by the pool for happy hour after a long day of running around before heading out for the night was wonderfully relaxing. Every morning started with a stroll to the neighborhood coffee shop just a block or so away. Lore and her son were very attentive to our questions leading up to our stay and our needs once we arrived. I would highly recommend this property for your next stay NOLA - our group can’t wait to go back.

I had a really hard time finding a good home with a pool for five girlfriends, but I definitely did with the Little Blue House! The entire home is beautiful, the backyard is an oasis, the owners are so nice and responsive, and the home has every amenity you could need. I would definitely book this home again if we were to come to New Orleans again. Thank you!!

A group of friends from across the country met up tor a birthday celebration weekend. Lore was helpful and communicative leading up to our stay and greeted us warmly when we arrived. She’s a very cool and generous individual. Her house is cozy and dripping with character and personality. The backyard was a paradise. This stay made out weekend extra special!

Lore was so accommodating. She met us at the property when we arrived and gave us a tour. She was always available via text when we had questions or needed recommendations on restaurants, etc.
The house itself was spacious, gorgeously appointed, and very comfortable. Convenient walking neighborhood.
Definitely recommend - 10 stars (even though 5 is the max)!

Wonderful house with great flow that was perfect for my group, felt like an oasis filled with warmth and hospitality.
The location was perfect – close to all the major attractions in the French Quarter, and it was easy to get around the city from there.
Would highly recommend!

We cannot say enough about how much we loved staying at this property! The house and decor were awesome, Lore, the owner, was super nice and fun! Very clean, and had everything we needed! Ubers were plentiful and grocery and food deliveries were easy!

This house was just incredible. The owners we so kind and easy going with the check in/out process, offering early check in and they were happy to hold luggage as we waited for flights our after check out. The pool was a great addition to the hot days. The home was spacious and beautifully decorated, comfortable for 8 guests, including enough bathrooms! We did a little cooking too and the host had some basics available which made it so nice to not have to buy all the basics in addition to food. I would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lore was an excellent host, she reached out to me a couple of weeks prior to let me know she would be out of town but her son Braedon would be our point of contact. He was very helpful and available to answer all of our questions. The house was just what we needed to allow us to relax and enjoy NOLA. Location is perfect, neighbors were friendly. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

As a local on staycation, we had an amazing weekend at the house! The location is easily accessible and has ample street parking available. The pool is fantastic and mostly shaded throughout the day. The house has plenty of space to spread out when it rains. The hosts are amazing - communicative, available as needed, and even let us come back later to snag some frozen pizzas we forgot in the fridge. Would absolutely rent again!

Fantastic and Beautiful! The Pool will blow you away!
The pool itself is worth the price of admission! We spent a good bit of time in it. The house is beautiful--the outside was just painted, so it's a crème color now. Lore is a wonderful host. She is present without being intrusive--she lives in the other half of the house and is available if you need anything. The house is large and charming--tons of comfortable period pieces abound the property. The chandeliers are gorgeous! It's an old house that has modern comforts. All of the beds are extremely comfortable! There are tons of towels and essential kitchen items. There's a sundry shop extremely close by for food and beverages. None of our party had any complaints and each of us Highly Recommend staying at this lovely property. Thank you, Lore, for allowing us to be your guests!

I cannot overstate the joy it was to stay at this fantastic property. It truly is an oasis where you can unwind after a day or night of the overload of excitement that is the city of New Orleans. The bedrooms are gorgeous and very comfortable, the kitchen very well stocked and the backyard and pool provide a peaceful getaway to unwind and enjoy your morning coffee. Lore is extremely helpful and kind and it was such a pleasure to meet and interact with her. All of our guests were over the moon and we were all so happy to have experienced the Treme Blue House. We hope to be back! Patti & Mark

We were a group of four adults and had a wonderful time. The house was just as advertised. It is a *very* old house, to be expected in New Orleans, and definitely part of the charm. We found it to be very clean, and Lore was a welcoming, excellent host who left us coffee, milk, creamer, and lots of amenities.
We did have a hot water issue that came up our first morning but Lore was extremely responsive to the issue and had it fixed that same day while we were out. She also found a solution for us that particular morning until it was fixed.
The AC is separate for upstairs & downstairs, which was fortunate, because there was an issue with the upstairs AC and Lore is having that fixed as well, but wasn't able to while we stayed in the house. The downstairs AC worked perfectly.
If you like to walk (we do), it's only about a mile to the quarter and easy to do in the daytime. Lyfts & Ubers were also plentiful and easy to access. The Treme is a nice, neighborhood-y location with lots of character.

We arrived at Treme Blue House on a cold, raw and chilly afternoon and were instantly warmed
by the charm of both the property and the host, Lore. Five weary travelers were easily
accommodated in the 4 well-appointed bedrooms (3 upstairs and 1 on the ground floor) and
the fun and functional communal space (living room, dining room and kitchen). However, we
happily found ourselves spending most of our time in the oasis created in the back with the
pool, patio and pool house bar, enjoying coffee in the mornings and “refreshments” later in the
day. Lore has decorated the rooms with many fun accents that let you know you are in New
Orleans.
More nuts-and-bolts information:
Kitchen – gas stove (big plus for those who like to cook), coffee and sugar provided,
filtered water for drinking, big fridge and freezer and lots of pots and pans make it easy
to pull a meal together. The dishwasher got a good workout and it was really handy to
have the washer and dryer handy (but neatly tucked away).
Pool, pool house and patio – comfortable seating of all sorts – we asked to have the
heat on for the pool (having checked the weather forecast) and were happy for that bit
of added luxury since March weather can be up and down
Wireless Bluetooth speakers inside and by the pool to enjoy your favorite playlists
Walkable to the French Quarter (about 20 minutes) but Ubers are plentiful and quick
We are looking forward to our next visit!

We booked the TremeBlueHouse last summer for a surprise 70th birthday party for my wife! Our adult children all joined us (along with their spouses/significant others). The house was plenty big - we all had our own private spaces, but it was intimate for cocktails, etc. The heated pool was wonderful and our host, Lore, was unbelievable. I can't recommend this property enough! Thanks Lore (and sorry for the late review).
