To accommodate all types of parties, the house includes one king size bed, one full size bed, a futon, a queen convertible bed, three twin-sized beds, as well as an open loft area. The area upstairs has low ceilings and is especially adored by younger children. The outdoor deck overlooking Tubbs and the water includes a hot tub and barbecue. Our 90 year old cottage has 3 bedrooms, and two baths. The sizable fully stocked kitchen and large living area both look out over the lake. Our little lake cottage has been extended over time to over 1,700sqft. The large outdoor deck overlooks the lake and Tubbs Hill; it includes a hot tub, dining table and barbecue. The sleeping areas include one king size bed, one full size bed, a futon, and three twin-sized beds. Video walkthrough can be found on Facebook at Cottageonlakeshore. We recommend viewing the walkthrough as our quirky old lake Cottage has a very practical but unusual layout. Particularly note the entrance and low overhead for the small 3rd bedroom (two twins), also note there is no bathroom on the 2nd floor. To relax after a long day in the outdoors we also provide a full entertainment system with LCD TV, sound system (yes, you can plugin your own device!), unlimited streaming movies/TV via our provided Netflix subscription, AppleTV, and a DVD player. Note only basic cable is provided. The Cottage is set up well for families, with lots of open play space. Board games and books have been provided for all ages, beach toys and beach towels. We also have gates and a pack n' play available. *Please also note the 3rd bedroom is a small finished attic room, on very hot days it has a hard time maintaining its cool and can require additional fans which we provide. Also, there is no built-in clothing storage. Located on the quiet side of downtown it is a short walk to the downtown center of Coeur d'Alene. Just off Sherman Avenue you will find coffee shops, restaurants, wine tasting, shopping, live music and a vibrant art scene. As you walk past the downtown core, you’ll find the City Park; Public Beach (with stationed life-guards); the popular Fort Sherman Playground; and boat, jet ski, kayak & canoe rentals. Lake cruises, seaplane tours and para-sailing are also popular summer activities for hire. The Coeur d’Alene area is home to several golf courses, ski resorts, water parks and the popular Silverwood theme park. Golf courses include The Coeur d'Alene Resort, Circling Raven, The Highlands, Avondale and many more. There are also many well maintained extensive bike trails including, The Centennial Trail, The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and The Hiawatha trail. Nearby ski resorts Silver Mountain, Schweitzer, and Lookout pass are within an hour drive. Cd'A City Short Term Rental License #52300

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Just one issue was I always felt we were being watched. Cameras on the outside of the house, real-estate office and mothers house all facing property. Other than that I recommend this property for family.

The house and location were perfect. The house was very nicely stocked. It would have been nice to have sponges for washing pans. The corkscrew was broken. We had a lot trouble watching tv. The host was very responsive and tried to help, but we ended up having to use my log in. This procedure should be simplified with very clear step by step instructions. Overall, we loved our stay and would be rest this house again.

Cute house right across from the lake. Beds could be updated (not comfortable/no support) but overall great stay.

Our first visit to CDA was amazing! The house was lovely and well stalked. Owner was responsive. Favorite thing was to hike over Tubbs to The Bakery downtown, then walk back through the beautiful neighborhoods to hit the hot tub! 90 min Lake cruise was relaxing. CDA is perfect for a Girl's Trip. Upstairs occupants over 60+ might be challenged due to low ceilings and staircase.

Lakeshore Cottage was the perfect location for our stay in Coeur d'Alene. Just steps from the Tubbs Hill trail head and Sanders Beach, the cottage was clean, well-stocked, comfortable and charming. We loved the lake views, the hot tub, and the neighborhood filled with gorgeous homes. There were many restaurants and shops just an easy 15 minute walk away. Communication with the owner was fabulous. Her description of the property is accurate.
