About this house rental
This fisherman's house is located in Minihic sur Rance, in a listed hamlet (Cale de la Landriais). It has been completely renovated and refurbished and has a large garden of 450m2, raised from the street, with a small view of Rance. It is surrounded by a terrace
The house has all the comforts for sunny days and others: fireplace, central heating, internet-wifi, TV, board games, bathtub and 2 showers, deckchairs, barbecue. The kitchen is also fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and Nespresso, complete appliances, etc.)
The house is organized on 3 levels for 6 people (4 double beds - 8 beds possible):
- a street level: double bedroom (140x190), bathroom (shower) and laundry room ('parents' floor)
- a garden level (main access level via the staircase to the street and the garden): living room and kitchen-dining room
- a floor with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (children's floor)
The bedrooms upstairs are equipped as follows:
- Bedroom 1: 1 double bed of 140x190 (with duvet)
- Bedroom 2: 1 double bed of 140x190 (with duvet)
- Bedroom 3:11 double bed of 130x190 (with duvet)
Sheets, towels and household linen available as an option (20€ per room per stay)
All bedrooms are equipped with a large 3-drawer dresser.
On the Rance, the Landriais slipway is less than 150m away and the Garel beach less than 300m away. Both are easily accessible on foot with children (the Rance is a coastal river - the water is salty like in the sea - subject to the tides, at different times from the Channel). The GR34 passes a few dozen metres away and runs along the banks of the Rance ('customs officers' path').
The beaches of Saint Malo, Dinard, Saint Lunaire, Saint Briac and Lancieux are also accessible in less than 10-20 minutes by car.

Mont Saint Michel is 50 km away, Cap Fréhel 40 km away
Boat trips possible from St Malo to Chausey, Jersey and Guernsey (Channel Islands)
Grocery store - bakery - hairdresser - bar in the village at 1500m. Supermarkets at 5km and markets of Dinard, Pleurtuit and Richardais at 10-15mn.
Note: for the months of July-August we prefer requests of 2 weeks or more.

A great stay over Christmas for our family of 5.
Location ideal as near husband’s mum’s house.
Lovely house with very spacious lounge and well equipped. Plus secure garden meant we could take the dog.
Kitchen a bit tight for cooking but we knew that and managed.
Good bedrooms and bathrooms - sloping ceilings can be a little limiting but give character.
Would definitely stay again.

A good sized, well equipped house with a big garden (our dogs had a great time!) in an amazing location close to the Rance estuary. Large comfy lounge, 2 good bathrooms, small but adequate kitchen, washing machine & Nespresso a plus. Good base to explore the area (St. Malo, Dinan, Cancale, Cap Fréhel). Local villages of Pleurtuit & La Richardais very convenient - note there is pretty much nothing in Minihic.House needs some attention. Basement bedroom & bathroom are damp, cold & could smell mould. Upstairs bedrooms unbearably hot when temperature goes over 25, need better blinds and fans/cooling system. Overall cleaning not great; had to unblock kitchen sink drains on day 1 and clean fridge. Lots of dust & spider webs. Ant problem in basement bedroom and around front door we had to deal with. Bbq was filthy & no tools. Garden furniture cheap, uncomfortable plastic and needs replacing with something better. Sun shade needed.
