Nestled in Cherokee Village, this attractive cabin for $206 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Built on the campus of Old Camp Miramichee, my charming but simple, newly renovated, air conditioned three bedroom, one bath cabin has a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen, and sleeping space for 8 in three full sized beds and futon. Nearby, within a 3 minute walk, is the Southfork of the Spring River just down from Low Water Bridge. Campers from Old Camp Miramichee are all too familiar with the early morning swims in the refreshing waters of the Spring River. If you love canoeing, the Southfork and the Spring River with its Class II, Class III rapids, s-curve shoots, and some three foot falls is the place to be. A Canoe trip on the Southfork or on the Spring River itself provides a great escape into nature and an exciting ride. All you anglers, the Spring River is noted for its plenteous rainbow trout! Nothing like fresh fish for supper! You would rather play golf or tennis? Those venues are close by. Are antiques your weakness? Hardy is your bit of heaven as antique stores abound in the Old Hardy Town. And talk about food? Try Biggers Bluff, Carol's Lakeview Restaurant, the Artisan, Vanilla Cowgirl, Meacham's, Don't miss the Hardy Malt Shoppe or Naleen's Candy Shoppe---It's Good! Lest you think that Hardy is way off the beaten track, please realize that creature comforts are also available... some of these are.. It’s a nice place but I didn’t have the door code at check in time. I had to call. She had been in the hospital but our evangelist couldn’t get in. I emailed first, no answer. My call was answered right away, thankfully. The place was very clean. They only provide one roll of toilet paper. For a traveling evangelist coming in, that was a issue lol. It was a huge inconvenience all the way around at first but was fine after we got the check in sorted and they went to the store

Even though it rained all weekend and we could raft or float on the river, we did lots of fishing and exploring. We all had an AWESOME time. Can’t wait to go back.

Just what we needed!

Just what we needed!

My newly-graduated daughter moved to the area for her first "real" job and couldn't find a rental. We had stayed at this cabin before, so I contacted Carolyn and she agreed to rent it to her during the off season until she could find a house to buy. I can't say enough about Carolyn's kindness and concern for my daughter, and attentiveness to her needs. She went above and beyond what we would have expected. This is a nice cabin, with a very caring owner, and we would definitely stay there again.

We did not have one complaint! We floated the river all day, and came back to the cabin, nice hot showers, cooled cabin, comfy beds, and a full kitchen to make breakfast! Awesome screened in porch to sit and relax! Super awesome!!

The cabin itself is spacious and has the basics of what you need, nothing fancy really. It was clean when we arrived and had no musty smell. The back yard was only partially mowed and there was a broken chair laying below the deck, but everything else was good - enjoyed the river and setting greatly. We would stay there again.

This was a great house and we very much enjoyed our stay. Had plenty of room for everyone, very clean and had everything you needed. Location was great also. The kids loved walking to the spring river and going fishing. We would stay again!

Very convienent location close to Spring River and area attractions. Clean, but a horrible musty smell when we first arrived. And that smell lingered. The beds were super comfortable and tons of towels. Quiet location just off the main highway. Average value for the accommodations. We won't stay there again due to the smell, but we had a good time rafting. Don't eat at the Mongolian grill in town. Food is gross. Down Home Country is awesome.

We made last minute plans to go canoeing and found this great cabin. It was just as described, clean, comfortable, and close to all the attractions. The owner was very helpful and informative and even sent directions from my home to the cabin.

Needed a place to stay at the last minute,carolyn was so kind to hold for me while i gathered family members for a last minute trip on labor day weekend.Cabin was excellent,clean,spacious for all 6 of us. Our 2-1/2 year old loved the walk down hill to spring river.His dad talked him into getting in spring river for the first time.Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed the screened in porch all weekend.We enjoyed our stay and would recomend the spot to other friends and family members.

Our stay at this cabin could not have been better, everything was just as advertised. The cabin is close to fishing and a nice little swimming hole. The ladies in charge did everything in their power to make sure we had a perfect stay and didn't dissappoint. There is a new zipline park directly across the street, and several good suggestions for meals the cabins guest book. Overall I would reccomend this cabin for a good time escaping it all.

This little cabin was perfect for our floating needs on the nearby Spring River. The owner accomdated our needs and was very helpful despite the last-minute nature of our plans. I would definitely rent this property again.

The cabin was just as described, there was plenty of room, the cabin was clean, the beds all comfortable and fresh. It was a just the place for my sister's and I to have our reunion. The food in town was really great! We ate breakfast at Fredricks and it was wonderful!!!! All you can eat too!!! I can't remember the name of the store in town, but it was a two story, we went in there and went up stairs and had our fortune read and that was really neat!!! I believe the man really can read those cards!! He told us things about our lives that I KNOW he knew nothing about! Yes, we enjoyed the cabin and the town very much! I would recommend staying there. Owner is nice and helpful too!
