J's Chalet (formely the 'Waltz Inn') is a charming chalet style home that is located 1 mile from Sulphur Creek Marina at Dale Hollow State Park. The chalet is situated on a side street that has little to no traffic, which makes it a relaxful getaway. It is completely ready for you to bring your family and enjoy some quality time together on or around beautiful Dale Hollow Lake. This home has become a wonderful place for our family to spend time! This beautifully decorated cabin is a perfect place for you and your family to get away from it all. Spend the day enjoying all that Dale Hollow Lake offers - boating, fishing, swimming or diving in the pristine waters. This vacation home is also 10 minutes from Dale Hollow State Resort Park where you can spend the day golfing at its renowned 18 hole course and driving range, hiking, or sight seeing around the countryside. It is also only a short drive from the cabin to the Cumberland River where you can spend the day trout fishing one of the state's best rivers or canoeing. The main level of the cabin features a living room with Satelite TV & DVD, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area which connects to a large wrap around deck complete with charcoal grill and chairs for relaxing. The main floor has two bedrooms. One has a king and the other a queen. Lastly, there is a full bathroom on this floor that includes a laundry area. On the second level of the home are two queen size beds in the bedroom. The loft area contains two additional single beds. There is a full bathroom on the second floor. The basement can also be rented out. It contains another regular bedroom (king), small bedroom (queen), full bathroom, kitchen, and living area. The living area a sofa sleeper, TV and gaming system. The home has central heat & air, towels and linens are provided. This home can sleep up to 16 people. Due to the amount sleeping areas available, this home is ideal for all size groups. We allow this home to be rented out two different ways (entire house or the base option - which is the main and second floors). All quotes are for the entire house unless otherwise specified. I also accept PayPal and Venmo. During the peak summer season, 4 night minimums are usually required. The week before and after the 4th of July may require a week long rental. The house is nice size had enough room for everyone. The place was not clean at all one of the girls that was with us wiped off the counters and swept the floors and was a lot of bed bugs and cockroaches dead the bathroom on the main floor the tub won't drain so you're standing in your dirty water as you're taking a shower. The place could use an upgrade on furniture the recliners were broken they were not very comfortable because they're wore out downstairs what seem to be a lot of rat dope on the floors in the corners which that is very dangerous with a 3-year-old a 2-year-old and a 5-month-old. The owners need to give a little TLC to this property and also check with their cleaning people that do the cleaning and see what kind of cleaning they are doing.

The house is in a great location, close to the marina and is much bigger than it looks from the outside. You could easily fit 2-3 small families here.
The house needs a deep cleaning and an exterminator for ants. It is also need of minor repairs.
It was stocked with everything we needed, but not enough pots and pans.
The house has great potential if more care was put into the property.

Accommodated our group of 13 well. We had one issue while there but the owner was easy to get in touch with. A little more seating in basement living area would be nice. We were still comfortable though.

This property is very close to Sulfur Creek Marina and Mike’s Landing. Communication with Jason was so easy! There is a lot of space in this house! Don’t let the outside fool you. The outside could use a little TLC but we aren’t there to sit out on the porch, we are there for beautiful Dale Hollow Lake! This property is great at the price point it is set at and we will certain put it on our list to return to!

Plenty of space for our family- 11 adults and 1 baby. If you don’t mind a few ants and the occasional small bug then this is a great place to stay for a family reunion. It is so close to sulfur creek (where we had our pontoon rental), mikes landing restaurant (great for kids and adults to enjoy), and 20 minutes to the dale hollow dam and pleasant grove recreation area (a must visit-trails, swimming and swinging bridge). The property owner was very helpful and quick to respond! A few notes- the porch was great outdoor space with plenty of chairs, it was nice having the second refrigerator in the basement, not enough toilet paper for the amount of people for the weekend, and the grill is super tiny.

4th of July Family Lake Trip
With our large group, this property was the perfect size. It had plenty of room for all 4 families and a great kitchen/living room area for all to hang out and eat together. The location being right next to Mikes Landing/Sulfer Creek was perfect and so convenient! There was some minor TLC things that need to be fixed such as the flooring was coming up, but other than that it was a great stay!! I would certainly recommend!

We rented the whole house and it was perfect for our family, beds were very comfortable, the communication with the owner was good and fast, great location. The only issue was the fridge and stove was not clean upon arrival, but we would definitely rent again!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great house for our families to stay. It is very close to Mike's Landing restaurant. The kitchen is stocked to help to make food easier. The only downfall was the yard was really small for our families. If you don't have kids, then it wouldn't be a problem.

Great Location With Plenty of Space
The house was super close to Sulfer Creek Marina/Dale Hollow Lake. The house was private,1 and checking in and out was super easy. A great place for large groups. We had 15 people and everyone had they’re own private space for sleeping. We definitely didn’t feel crowded or on top of each other. I definitely recommend this place for large groups heading to Dale Hollow for a little lake recreation time!

The location of the house is perfect- just a short ride to the marina. The house was clean and furnished with the essentials. The number of beds and bathrooms made it very accommodating for our family. We will return!
