Located at the back of the complex, it is high up and has no street noise--only the rhythm of the surf washing up on beautiful Kamaole II Beach, just in front of the complex and a quick walk down the drive. Safe for kids and novice swimmers, and one of only three life-guarded swimming beaches in Kihei, this pristine stretch of sand is backed by a park with picnic tables, restrooms and showers, and cradled by rocky points on either side where snorkelers may swim with tropical fish and sea turtles. The unit's spectacular Western view encompasses the West Maui mountains, the islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe and Molokini, and continues on southward to the palms and golf courses of Wailea. Sunset is the event of the day year-around; from the comfortable swivel chairs at the bistro table on the lanai you will enjoy the view of the sun sinking into the Pacific, as well as the sounds of the conch-blowers and the whisper of the palm fronds as evening falls. The property had everything you would want for a perfect beach vacation (beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, cooler bag) and made our lifes so much easier. The hostess was super friendly and helpfull answering all questions almost instantly. She was even kind enough to let us have a late check-out which basically added one more beach day to our vacation. The inside interior is very authentic and the view from the balcony is stunning. I would come back here and will recommend to anyone who will go to Maui.

Really enjoyed ourselves at Jeanne's place. It was in a nice convenient area of Kihei. The views were amazing as this unit is on the 6th floor. Nice cool breeze. Nice balcony to sit and watch the sunset and also to have coffee on in the morning and hear just how quiet it can get in Kihei sometimes. You can also hear the waves. Unit was well stocked and everything well noted. Would enjoy staying at Jeanne's place again anytime.

I really would give it 4.5 stars if I could. The view is amazing. The grounds are very clean. The beach really is just across the street. The bamboo flooring is nice. I thought the bed was very comfortable (not hard, but firm and plush at the same time). I didn't give it a 5 stars only because of a few smaller things; the linen closet door is hard to open and close (the handle is on the wrong side and it sticks), the pot holders/oven mitts needed washed, the floor fan in the bedroom was so noisy that it bothered my husband, so I couldn't have it on at night (then I figured out that I could put it on level 2 and keep it on). It had beach chairs, umbrellas, a boogie board, noodles, coolers, and beach bag. Also, some extras that others had left, like sunscreens and spices and coffee. The view is right over one of the well maintained pools. The owner was very responsive to my questions.

Breakfast with an ocean view or dinner with a sunset view from this top floor unit. Excellent location that is a short walk to many shops, beach rentals and several wonderful places to dine. The quiet pool is just steps away with a short 2 min walk from AMAZING K Beach 2! Good luck finding a great listing at this rate. Owner is very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Before we even got to the property Jeanne was an incredible host. She replied promptly to emails and was incredibly accommodating. Jeanne wrote us a welcome letter and was clear with the ins and outs of the condo.
Upon arriving we were instantly at home. I have been to Maui 21 times and can say the aesthetic was exactly what you would expect to feel at home in a Kihei condo. Not only was it beautiful inside, but everything has been cared for and remains looking like new. The kitchen was fully equipped with quality appliances and even the basic seasonings and pantry staples.
The condo had two different air conditioning portable fans that kept the space cool and comfortable, especially on the hotter days. There was also a washing machine and dryer that made it super easy to keep up with any washing we needed to do.
This condo is in a fantastic area and in a wonderful building complex. The host, Jeanne, was so easy to communicate with and made our trip so much easier than we could have hoped for.

As always, Maui was amazing! The grounds of this property are gorgeous, and we could smell the plumeria flowers all the way up to the 6th floor lanai! Walking in and seeing the view unfold before us was amazing. The bed was extremely comfortable, but the unit itself could use a little refresh. All in all it was a great stay.

I had an amazing time staying at this property! The plants surrounding the unit were so beautiful to look at and of course the view was the best part. I watched many sunrises and sunsets on the balcony and enjoyed every minute of it. The unit had everything I would have needed, including beach supplies! I would definitely stay here again! The beach across the street is perfect and a great place for sunset swims.

Relaxing time in Kiehi
We had a great time. Jeanne had everything there you could possibly expect. The location was perfect, the view was fantastic, the bed and condo was extremely comfortable. We found some fun golf courses to play, went snorkeling on the beach in front of the complex, went surfing at the easy break nearby. Plenty of food choices and activities available to choose from. Exceeded expectations!!

What a view!
Well stocked and comfortable. Jeanne thought of everything you could need for a great stay. View from lanai was spectacular both morning and night. Close to beaches, shops, dining. Grounds were beautiful.

Overall, it was a great place to stay and much more economical than up by Kaanapali or Lahaina.

Perfect Getaway
Jeanne's home was the perfect place to stay in Kihei! The view from her condo was like none other, her home had everything we could have possibly needed. She was very helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend staying at Jeanne's property, you will not be disappointed! :)

At Kihei Akahi you can’t go wrong. Jeanne was a great host and communicator. We enjoyed our time very much. It was hot and there isn’t A/C so be ready to use the fans to the fullest. The view is the best!

Easy access to the beach, the WiFi was perfect so I was able to work from the condo, our preferred grocery store (food land) and some restaurants were a 20 min walk which we found ourselves doing often even with the car we rented. The units are quiet (even in the pool, by 9pm!), the view is lovely, and the fans did help with the heat and no a/c. Getting food delivered was a bit of a hassle, but that’s not a big deal. We would stay here again, and I’ve recommended it to my parents as well!
