About this cabin rental
Completely renovated with custom windows, gourmet kitchen, hardwood floors, and artistic trim. one full bed, one queen bed plus queen futon in sleeping loft which is accessed by a steep ladder. Our kitchen is fully stocked! Microwave, coffee maker, and all the pots and pans for a holiday meal! Sleep to the sound of the adjacent creek. There is a streamside fire ring and a grill on the patio. Pets welcome!

This cabin is artistic and unique. We loved the wood details throughout and loved that it is pet friendly. Overall it was a great home base for out Gettysburg visit. The necessary areas were clean, such as toilets, counters and beds. Listening to the creeks through the large screen doors was so relaxing! The coffee table with various artifacts was fun to explore. We did note that the cabin would benefit from an overall deep clean - there were some cobwebs in the corners, quite a few spiders as guests, and we found some mouse droppings in drawers prompting us to re-wash any dishes/kitchen tools before use. Know that this property is in the forest and some insects and critters may be difficult to avoid. Also of note, my older school aged children were uncomfortable with the loft sleeping set-up, it was a cool space but lacked a solid railing to prevent falls if you have active sleepers (who roll), and the ladder was less stable than they wished. Not a negative per say and personal opinions, but I feel important to share with any other families traveling with kids. Overall a unique property that met our needs for our trip!

We loved this little cabin. My kids favorite part was the creek and the board cabins they keep in the cabin.

The cabin was very cute and rustic. The amenities were as shown. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the cabin. I think some more care could be put in to clean the dust and cobwebs.
