From the moment you walk in the door, you will feel at home with all the amenities including a fully stocked kitchen and tasteful decor. There are two private bedrooms, both with queen-size beds. The first bedroom has a chest of drawer and private closet. The second bedroom has a built-in drawer and countertop with a private closet. The bathroom between both bedrooms has an over-sized shower, toilet and vanity sink. A second vanity sink just outside the bathroom gives more space for dressing. The brand new memory foam upgraded queen sleeper sofa in the living room hides the third queen-size bed. Laundry is easy with the coin-operated washers and dryers on the ground floor of our building. There are two hot tub facilities in the Gold Camp II complex; each with 2 hot tubs, sauna and shower/changing room for your relaxation and enjoyment. The free shuttle bus stops at the corner of the complex for convenient transportation to the slopes as well as visits to town. Breckenridge has abundant shopping and dining opportunities that you will want to enjoy as well as an outstanding Breckenridge Recreation Center offering indoor swimming, tennis, racquetball, rock climbing and work-out equipment at very nominal fees. Sorry, no pets. This is a non-smoking unit. Smoking of any kind is prohibited. Violators will be charged. 10% discount for a stay of 7 nights or more. Owner has great communication. Unit has been remodeled with very thoughtful design, great utilization of the space due to slightly odd bathroom layout. Who ever designed the unit did a stellar job. This is not ski in ski out, and to far of a walk to peak 8 with little kids. There is not an elevator, and parking is outside not covered. Based on the description I thought it was closer to the mountain. My other issue was that we had to clean all the utensils and pans prior to using them. There was grease on almost all the pots and pans along with the cooking utensils. The other issue was the marijana smell always creeping in the drafty windows. I know the building was built in the 70s or 80s but the wind drafts were excessive along with the smell of weed on numerous occasions. This unit was nice on the surface level but needs a feel other details to really be great.

The VRBO was wonderful. We stay in a lot of rentals for vacation and John was one of the easiest people to work with. Everything was organized and clearly laid out when we arrived. He helped us track down a few items that we forgot at home which was very kind. The apartment is really very nice, well kept and fun to be in. We loved the ease of turning on the fire place and found the beds very comfortable. The location is great and an easy walk to Peak 8 base. We did it with 4 small children just fine. We will definitely be staying here again!!

The property is nicely renovated as per the listing. The location is also very convenient to access the slopes or the city center. The property owner provided good instructions and recommendations and was able to accommodate an early check in. The property also had some thoughtful touches such as games, grocery card for city market and parking passes. We loved the property and will definitely rent it for future trips to the mountains.

My wife and I had an amazing time at this condo. It’s quiet and simple walks/hikes to get to anyplace you need to. We brought our side by side out to explore the national forest OHV trails and it was a blast. We also did a few hikes that were right next to the condo. The sawmill trail is a nice relaxing hike. The condo was up to date and you can tell the owners take pride in there property. We had no issues and will be back again.

Cozy, nicely furnished and well equipped unit. On the 3rd floor up 2 flights of steps, so not appropriate for people with mobility difficulties, but great privacy and quiet.

Nice clean condo that was perfect for us. The layout made it easy to cook breakfast in the Kitchen with the family in the main room. Easy check in and out process. Everything met our expectations. Close enough in summer to walk to Peak 8 activities. Easy drive to the shops. This great location at a very reasonable price.

A buddy and I stayed here as our home base for a ski weekend and it was perfect. The unit was spotless, comfortable and fully stocked with everything we needed. The interior updates were very well done and the proximity to the ski bus made getting on mountain east. Highly recommend this property.

We thoughourly enjoyed our stay in this condo. Everything was very clean and the mountain was easy to access. If we had to be nit picky we would mention that the pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Would definitely re-rent this condo.

We had a wonderful time and the condo is located in a great spot as it is close to the shuttle! Only downside - the beds weren’t that comfortable and sheets had some stains on them in one of the bedrooms. We were able to find an extra set in the closet so we switched them out. It gets very hot at night, but he does warn you of this and suggests cracking the window. I suggest cranking that window allll the way open to stay comfortable. It has a nice kitchen with just about everything you need and a very nice bathroom. You can tell things have been renovated as this particular condo is much nicer that the building. Overall, we had a very nice stay!

I had a great trip with my family. This condo is a short walk to the free-ride bus stop making it really easy to get to the slopes in the morning. The host was really responsive. The fireplace was not working the first night, but he had someone come and fix it the next day for us which we really appreciated! Thank you John!

We had a terrific 5-night stay in this cozy condo. We are serious skiers and that was our priority for this vacation. At first when we realized that the walk to Peak 8 was going to be much too far in our boots, we were worried. But, we quickly saw that the bus to the lift was super easy (and only one stop away.) The condo is well equipped for cooking and sleeping with a retro vibe and comfortable furniture to lounge in.
