THANKSGIVING and CHRISTMAS. Dates are flexible during those times, so just let me know what days your family would need beyond the usual week stay. We put up lovely trees and tasteful decorations, so the house looks 'magical' for Christmas!! [Or we can decorate for Hanukkah] WELCOME to 'Ocean's Song'.... 'The Ocean's Song is the music of our souls!' This is NOT your granny's beach house!! Ocean's Song is a gorgeous 3,800 sq.ft. house, decorated to reflect the Island/Coastal chic, and yet very comfortable with the 'feel' of a cozy old Isle of Palms beach house, yet it was built in 2007. High end finishes, granite counters, stainless appliances, hardwood floors throughout, laundry room with high end washer and dryer, plus the 'Powder Room' is a full bath as well!! AND, EVERY BEDROOM HAS IT'S OWN PRIVATE on suite BATH!! This house is designed for the whole family -- children of all ages welcome!!! (We also welcome the four-legged family members as well.) This home is designed and situated for pool and beach fun! It is beautifully decorated and has every convenience for your stay and yet you will feel comfortable and can 'kick back' and relax!! 'Ocean's Song' is the house you will fall in love with -- where you will want to return year after year! A few things you will enjoy: * The entire backyard is a pool [salt water system] area with two levels of decks. Many chairs/chaise lounges and tables make it a great area for entertaining, playing in the pool and sunning! The six burner grill will test Dad's culinary skills. * The large elevator helps avoid carrying your things up steps, plus it is roomy enough for a wheelchair. * One block from the beach, it is only a 3 min walk! We have provided beach toys, Boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, Beach Buggy, and Beach Wagon. Being one block off Palm Blvd. gets you away from the heavy traffic and all of the 'off road' beach parking for the public. You have private parking and no one will be parking in the front yard except you! * The Isle of Palms Rec Center is just one block away, with tennis courts, gym, fitness center, basketball court, baseball field and lots of play area for your athletes and the youngsters. And there is also a "Dog Park" for your "other" family members!! * This house has all the high-end features and appliances you would want -- stainless appliances, french door refrigerator w/ ice and water in door, separate beverage center, oven and warming oven, microwave, gas cook top, Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker, plus electric water pot for tea. The kitchen features granite counter tops, two separate sinks, an island and a large outer counter. The kitchen is TOTALLY equipped with EVERYTHING YOU NEED! We also have a separate laundry room with a new heavy duty washer and dryer, plus laundry sink. * You will like the luxury of the Biltmore Estate sheets and towels, as well as Pine Cone Hill bed skirts. Luggage racks, hair dryers and hand/full length mirrors are provided. Each bedroom is beautifully appointed [with numerous sleeping pillows!] and ready for you to relax at the end of a fun-filled day! * Ocean's Song has an inverted floor plan. GROUND LEVEL is the garage area where there is a Ping Pong Table, shower and various toys, plus the sliding glass doors out to the pool area. The FIRST level has four bedrooms, each with its own bath. There is also a laundry room on that level. The SECOND level has the MBR with en suite, OPEN kitchen, dining area, great room, extra full bath, and an office with printer for those who are working remotely. Also a screened porch. The THIRD level has no living area, but has furniture for you to sit and relax while you enjoy looking out at the view [ocean in distance] and sunsets! * Almost forgot to mention the 'tellies' -- 60' HD TV with sound bar and Blu-Ray player in the Great Room, 51' HD TV and Blu-Ray player in MBR, and 40' TV's in all of the other BR's. Also high speed WI-FI * There is more, but we hope you get the idea!! Some other features are listed below and we will also be glad to answer any questions you may have. We purchased, decorated and appointed this home to be our own personal vacation home.... We are delighted to share it and HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS WE DO!! We continue to make upgrades! Let me begin by saying that i have never met the owner of this property- everything I am telling you is objective and MY PLEASURE! Spotlessly clean, not a single detail has been omitted from the information provided; perfectly appointed kitchen, everything was labeled to make this a stressless and perfectly enjoyable stay. The resources provided by the owner are complete- skip google-ing for restaurants and area attractions she provided all that.. Nothing, I mean ZERO has been omitted. It was a great experience and we will definitely want to rent this VRBO the next time we come to Isle of Palms!
We had this hpuse during Christmas week and the owner had set up a Christmas tree and decorartions for our enjoyment. Can't get better than that.

We had a fabulous time, we loved the house. We all had our privacy and our own bathroom. The gatherings on the porches for morning coffee and an evening cocktail. The pool area was also another great space. Everywhere we were was ample space for our family.

We've been coming to Isle of Palms for 25 years and this home was by far the best in every category yet. The cleanest, most organized, stocked with everything you need and a great location. We definitely will rent again as Martha was awesome to converse with if I had any questions.

Prior to our visit the owner provided an abundance of information regarding her home, maps of the area and local businesses. Upon arrival at "Ocean's Song" we were quite pleased with the size, condition and high end appointments. Although our group was small with three couples and one infant, the five bedrooms and six baths provided lots of flexibility. The common areas were large, but quite welcoming. The entire home was tastefully decorated throughout. The kitchen with abundant counter space was supplied with just about everything one could ever need, including under counter ice maker, beverage fridge and even tin foil and zip lock bags. Everything was of high quality and labels were placed all over for guests convenience. There was a wonderful private office space. The pool and outside living area were terrific and yet the home was only a short block away from a beach access. We simply loved the elevator, it was the best !! Lastly, but most importantly the entire home was clean. It made us feel as if we were the first ones to stay there. Truly a lovely home that we enjoyed tremendously.

We had an outstanding stay at Ocean Song. The house is laid out nicely with plenty of room for the number of people noted. The amenities are just outstanding with pretty much everything you can think of that you may need, you can find it in the house. It is an easy walk to the beach. The host Martha was great with very detailed instructions and guidance with planning your stay. Every item in the house is labeled to help you navigate the property and make proper use and leave it in great shape. This was an exceptional experience and we forward to looking to go there again. My husband and I thought this was a perfect beach house for a vacation with our children and grandchildren. The house is very clean, beautiful, spacious, well appointed and comfortable! Given that all five bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, the layout is ideal for multiple families! The location is ideal - very short walk to the beach, pickle ball courts and playground. We loved cooking in the beautiful, well stocked kitchen and eating together at the large dining room table. Martha is very easy to work with and very responsive to all questions. We all agreed that we would like to come back to this house!

We had two families staying in the home and never had an issue with space or privacy!
Ocean's Song is beautiful. From the moment we walked through the front double doors...relaxation kicked in. The interior decorations and craftmanship are 5 star and the living spaces are very accommodating for large groups. All of the amenities are top notch and there are instructions and labels in all of the right places! The screened in porch and the Crow's Nest were favorite hang out spots for the group. Frozen drinks and a warm summer breeze were not in short supply!
We had a few questions and the owner responded immediately. One example - the toaster broke the first morning and the owner overnighted a new one so we had for breakfast the next day! Definitely top notch service from an owner that cares about her property and the satisfaction of her guests. There wasn't one appliance that we needed that wasn't stocked in the home! Oh, and did I mention the gifts and other convenience items that were there when we arrived?! Very much appreciated by all!
We have family in the area and wouldn't hesitate to make this a go to vacation spot in the future. Thank you Ocean's Song for making our vacation a memorable one!

We loved our stay at this home and would definitely book again. Great layout for three families. Indoors and out the house was incredibly well stocked with everything you need to enjoy the home, beach, pool and IOP. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Great communication by host. We loved the elevator for loading/unloading groceries etc. Beds were very comfortable as was the furniture through the house. Lots of thoughtful and practical touches and features throughout made it feel more like a home than a rental. 2 blocks from the park with huge playground and fields. Quick walk to beach. Plenty of parking!!

We would give this house a 6-star review if that was possible! We had a fantastic 2-week stay at Ocean’s Song. Before we got there, our Host (Martha) communicated well and provided some great information, so we were ready-to-go when we got there – she was also fully available (text, e-mail, phone) if we had any questions during our stay. The home itself was perfect-well appointed, well setup, and clean. It’s clear that the Owners put a lot of thought into making sure their guests had everything they needed (bath and beach towels, TVs in every room, little amenities [e.g., soaps with Ocean’s Song wrapping, Neutrogena make-up wipes in the bathrooms, etc.], laundry soap, a useful spice drawer, coffee filters, a cabinet full of games, and more)-all we needed to bring was ourselves and food/drink. High-end appliances, including a gas range, high-end knives, and all the silverware, plates (china and plastic), glasses and other things you would need. Plus, everything (including the elevator) was well labeled, including instructions, to make things easier. For the beach, lots of chairs, wagons, and toys in the first-floor area. The house is also close to the Isle of Palms Recreation Center which has good fields, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball courts, an indoor facility, and a great playground. The pool was perfect for relaxing when we wanted to take a break from the beach. Our entire family loved the place and when we come back to Isle of Palms, this will be our first choice

The home is decorated professionally , top notch, everything needed for adults or families.
The elevated property allows for nice play area for kids, with corn hole and ping pong tables.
For adults, kitchen / living area is spacious, well equipped , a pleasure to relax in.
A block from the beach, close to beach access, in Isle of Palms residential area. Close enough to town to walk if desired.
Multiple bedrooms on 2 levels, great beds, nice baths etc.

Ocean's Song was a wonderful spot for our family gathering! The owners have thought of every detail you need to have a fantastic stay. Such a beautiful home with wonderful gathering spaces and superb amenities. We have stayed at a different home each year for several years of this family gathering. This was the first time that everyone said please let's come back here next year! Thank you to Martha and thoughtful owners for providing such an exceptional home!

This house was absolutely perfect. Martha has everything you need. Very clean and felt like home. Martha allowed us to have our Rehersal Dinner on the property. Everyone commented hoe wonderful the house was decorated. She allowed me to take my Great Dane. She is wonderful. I hope we can stay with her again. What a special touch a written note. Welcoming my family in for my son's wedding.

We found the property to be in excellent condition and really appreciate the owners attention to detail and maintenance of the house. There were no complaints from anyone in our party until it came time to leave!

I was concerned that a house allowing pets would not be clean or would have objectionable odors- founnd absolutely no issues.

Martha, the host, is top notch. I've never stayed in such an organized property; there's literally nothing she hasn't thought of. The house is fully stocked and incredibly comfortable. Martha couldn't possibly make things any easier and more lovely for her guests- she even left us two bottles of wine and a personalized bag.
