The Gulf Crest Condominium and Resort rests on the exclusive Thomas Drive area of Panama City Beach described as 'the World's Most Beautiful Beaches' by Travel Channel. Eat, sleep or just relax on one of the largest gulf front wrap around balconies (719 square feet) on the Emerald Coasts. From your 23rd floor beach front view, watch your family play on the beach, swim in one of our two gulf front pools, two outdoor spas or kiddie pool. You get free Beach Service (in season) so you can relax in the cushioned lounge chairs with a large umbrella directly on Gulf Crest beach. This large, open floor plan (1801 sq feet) boasts three bedrooms with king size beds, two bathrooms, a bunk area and a queen size sleeper sofa to comfortably accommodate 8 - 10 people. The master bedroom, living, kitchen and dining rooms all provide spectacular gulf views through large floor to ceiling windows. All the bedrooms feature king size beds, flat screen TVs and balcony access. The large open kitchen is fully equipped for gourmet dinners and has stainless steel Appliances, granite counter tops and a large breakfast bar. The unit has a washer/dryer, ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms and hi speed internet access provided by the property. There is a large flat screen TV in the living area. Gulf Crest Resort features two gulf front pools, 2 outdoor spas, a kiddie pool, a poolside Tiki Hut Bar/Restaraunt, a gulf front fitness room, a video arcade game room, covered assigned garage parking, 3 high speed elevators and 294 feet of sugar white sandy beach. You may never want to leave your unit, but in case you do, there is a poolside Tiki Hut Bar/Restaurant and excellent dining and family entertainment just a short walk away. Enjoy the fun park, golf, deep sea fishing, diving, snorkeling or just spend a relaxing day at nearby St. Andrews State Park or Shell Island where you can swim with the dolphins. There is a $50 registration fee per condo for parking passes and arm bands.

If this had been our first year, we probably wouldn’t be back. 1. Both pools closed. 2. Entire decks around condo closed and locked off. 3.. Constant construction noise—air hammers and electric chisels 4. Trash chute inop. 5. Usually one elevator not working, occasionally two inop. 6. Weather unusually cold, windy and rainy made for less than pleasant conditions. We have stayed here before and it has been fine so going to try again another year.

Property was clean and beautiful and location is excellent. The only downside is the mattresses on the beds - Truly in need of replacement. Otherwise, everything else is near perfection! Enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return!

Pros: the wrap around balcony provides amazing views of the beach and lagoon side. The unit has a lot of room for a large family.
Cons: the unit wasn't up to par in cleanliness when we arrived and we actually spent some time sweeping/moping the floor ourselves which isn't something you desire when arriving at your destination. The beds in the unit create a loud cracking sound when you get in and out of the beds. Water dispenser from the fridge didn't work

Was a wonderful view from the balcony the condo could use some updating on the showers and the floors and coffee tables where not as clean as I wound like but it was a wonderful stay and the manager was fast to get the one issue we had fixed .

Loved everything about the place except for the cleaning fees I pay to get a semi clean place…the previous guests pop can ash trays were still on the balcony and the floors were quiet dirty other than that the place was TERRIFIC!!!

Condo was not clean when we arrived. Walking across the tile floor barefoot meant black dirty feet on everyone. No mop or broom in the condo. Dryer was broke when we arrived. We reported it on Sunday and it was not fixed until Thursday. Smoke detector started beeping on Tuesday and this was reported to maintenance, took them until Thursday to repair. Shower head in master bedroom was broke. We put a piece of cardboard in it to hold it in place to be able to take a shower. Previous tenants put dishes away dirty. We had to wash every dish before we used it. Kitchen sink had a water leak the previous week and smelled something awful. Would rent again in but not this unit.

Too many things were terrible about this property to list is a short summarization. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Bkack mold, pay for ice and parking in their parking garage. Dirty floors. Just NO.

Love Gulf Crest. Have stayed there 4 different years but never this room again.
Pros:
View was AMAZING. Wrap around balcony with a beautiful Ocean View and a beautiful night time city view.
Tiki Bar and workers were amazing.
Room was short on Pots and pans to cook if that’s your thing but management was great on that issue lol and brought new.
Cons:
Room was filthy and there was shattered glass on the floor when we got there. Room floor was dirty enough that it was turning our feet black. Wore sandals in the room most of the time.
All the dishes were dirty and disgusting. Found out why when we tried to do dishes all it did was flood water.
Dryer was broken and didn’t dry clothes so pack extra if choosing to stay.
Internet password was wrong and the contact information given was no help getting it working. Normally not an issue but we had 2 rainy days where it would of been nice to have internet to watch tv or for late at night since we are night owls until 2am or so (the main tv also had horrible burn across the tv)
There was a new security guard that was getting on to kids for standing at the edge of the pool and jumping in. Not diving but jumping. When asked about it she said it was Florida Law that went into effect in 2022 that you can’t jump into a pool. When shown that law was for diving she insisted that diving and jumping were the same thing.
All in all I love Gulf Crest and recommend it but do not recommend this room.

Thinking that the amount if money paid to stay on the 23rd floor of the condo to which we have stayed for several years twice a year in different units. This init was the biggest disappointment of all. Floors were dirty,cobwebs on the ceiling,none of the 4 tvs works at all, the kitchen sink leaked with a pan to catch the water and smelled like mold,the guest bath sink dripped constantly. I reached out via email and by phone to edci property management. No response from email at all and when i called the lqdy said someone would be there to fix the tv issue the next day....no one ever stayed. I qm locql within 50 miles of PCB and would never recommend this company or this unit.

The condo is in a very nice location with great views. The set up of the condo is great. It has great potential but needs a lot of updating throughout the condo. The kitchen sink leaks. It was fixed while there by us. The TV wouldn’t work at first in the living room. Finally got that to work. Unfortunately it stop working multiple times. We pay a cleaning fee for this condo I’m not sure how it’s utilized. Due to the fact that it’s dirty, sand all over upon arrival, dust every where, dishes had to be rewashed due to being greasy. We had to sweep and mop the floors. The cleaning crew needs to be trained to clean!

My family and I travel a lot and have stayed in many different condos through Vrbo etc. This condo was definitely not up to par on what we are used to.
First, ECDI charges YOU the credit card fee (if you choose to use one, so add that onto your total). When we arrived the check in process was relatively easy, but knowing where the parking spot was could have been easier. We ended up just parking on the top level to make things easier.
When we got to the condo at first glance it’s beautiful. The only major difference is the couches are no longer the red leather (I would update the pics so people know).
The master bathrooms toilet paper holder was broken when we got there.
The mermaid room was missing the Roku.
Be aware that there are a very limited amount of towels (no beach towels at all).
The kitchen sink is not correctly mounted therefore it leaks.
No cleaning supplies at ALL so if you spill anything or want to clean up after yourself bring some or go to Walmart.
All of the beds creak anytime you move.
Master armoire doesn’t have any hand pulls on drawers.
Door on bunk beds was missing.
Sand in drawers in mermaid room.
No decent knives to cut fruit or even a cake with.
I would not stay at this specific condo again but the Gulf Crest condo community areas was great!

These are the issues we had upon arrival: Clothes dryer did not work, ice maker did not work, range door broken(will not close),3 bedroom TV's did not work , black mold and mildew in both bathrooms, bathroom stool loose(missing screws, wood shim holding in place), bathroom faucet leaking, all bed box springs worn out(squeaks every time you move), very dirty(large amounts of dust on cabinets, floor and ceiling).
I reported these issues to Sarah on08/13 and she stated she would have someone out right away. Someone arrived that day and said he had to get parts and would be back to repair. Never saw him again. Another company came out on 08/16 and stated he would get parts and return. We checked out on 08/17. I called Sarah after we returned home and she said she would refer this to her manager. Her manager, Rebecca, contacted me via email on 08/31 stating she would like me to email her with the issues we had and that they would like to make situation right and try to fix this. I responded back to her on 08/31 with the information she requested. I did not her back from her so I sent her another email on 09/12. She replied on 09/14 stating to let her know if I would like to speak with her further to get this resolved. I have sent numerous emails and made many phone calls to Rebecca with no response.
We went to the beach with no ice for our coolers, returned to wash our clothes and beach towels....no dryer, went to cook dinner...no oven, went to bed and could not move because of worn out box springs that squeak.....no sleep. This is not the vacation we were expecting.
I ask Rebecca to at least have the courtesy to respond. I would be careful using ECDI, as they don't follow up or follow through.
Also, be aware there is a bar right by the condo that plays loud thumping music all night long until 2:00-3:00am.
This could be a nice condo if it was maintained. The views are excellent.

The condo was beautiful and had amazing views. Everything was nicely decorated and it offered everything we needed. The proximity to the pools, hot tubs, & beach could not have been any better. It was walking distance from a few places but we did have to drive a little more than usual. HOWEVER, with that being said, the beaches weren’t nearly as crowded which was fabulous! The few little issues we did have would not keep us from staying here again and I feel need to be addressed with the owners and should not affect my ratings. If you are looking for a great place, this one should definitely be considered.

The property was amazing! Every outdoor entrance was gated and required a code to get in which helped us feel safer staying somewhere we had never been before. The room had the prettiest ocean view, and it was a lot more spacious than I had originally thought from looking at the pictures. It was very clean upon our arrival, and all of the staff we interacted with were very nice! We especially enjoyed the hot tubs and tiki bar by the pool :) I would definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival we walked in to the furniture inside/outside being nothing like pictured. After 5 mins of our toddlers walking on the floor their feet were completely black and you could feel so much sand on the floor. There were gummy bears laying around that our toddlers put in their mouth. Chips and everything in the floor. The countertops were sticky and disgusting and the windows had hand/face prints all over them from previous occupants. Everything was crazy dusty. One of the three beds had hair and dirt in it. The beds were like sleeping on the floor and they were all loud and squeaky. The tv In the living room hardly ever worked. Every time we pressed power something messed up so we pretty much didn’t have tv the whole week. Each of the appliances/tv’s had some sort of defect. There was empty beer can out on the balcony. The night we arrived we couldn’t get ahold of anyone, but the next day they did send someone to clean. Upon arrival the door was also unlocked and wide open. We made the best of it, but we will not be returning to this specific condo ever again. Giving it a two star just for the open floor plan and their willingness to assist. The property was very nice, I would stay at Gulf Crest again. The only downfall was the night club right In front of it was excessively loud over our sound machine all night long.

When we first got there took off our shoes our feet were covered in sand and turned black. I vacuumed several times as well as mopped but it wasn’t enough. I have bites all over me from whatever was in the master bed, we took all the sheets off and washed them because there were blood stains on them, so it’s something in the mattress. The pillows are absolutely disgusting. The guest tub wouldn’t drain so I pulled the plug and pulled a pound of hair and who knows what else out of it. There’s a broken vodka bottle in the top cupboard by the fridge so obviously the housekeeper doesn’t look in there. Two burners don’t work on the stove and the oven takes forever to heat up. We couldn’t figure out the tv in the living room until two days before we left. The pictures need updated as the living room furniture isn’t the same and neither is the patio furniture. There weren’t enough towels so bring some if you stay! We were there when tropical storm Fred hit and the front door has no seal so water poured in. We had to use all of our beach towels on the floor to keep water from seeping in, it was coming in from the top as well, you can shut the door and see the big gap. When we stripped the guest bed we noticed blood stains and big brown stains on the mattress, grossed me out. Would recommend this place if it were taken better care of, definitely needs work.

Dirty condo
The room we stayed in was very dirty!!! It looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in months!!! The kitchen sink and master bathroom toilet was leaking. We called and maintenance never came. The toilet was so bad that the floor stayed wet. Bathtubs and toilets were dirty. The location and view of the condo was great! Looking to stay there again just in a different room!!!!

Great Condo
Everything was fantastic and we had a great vacation here. Only complaints were that it was hard to get in touch with property management to make the final payment via email and the floors were dirty, not just sandy but dirty. Overall great stay

The condo was spacious and the the beds were comfortable. The pictures are not accurate. Parking is an issue, ONLY 2 spaces and no close parking without tow away warnings. Only one sometimes 2 of 4 elevators working at a time. We had to walk 23 floors down with beach stuff!

My family loved it here. Being on the 23rd floor and having the huge balcony the views were outstanding! It is a rental condo so it is showing a little wear but not bad at all! Don’t let the bad reviews scare you off. We had a great time and definitely would stay here again. The worst part was walking out and saying goodbye! Being on the quieter end of the beach was nice too. PCB was packed while we were there and the traffic around the condo was never real bad. Thanks for having us!
