About this condo rental
Located in Okaloosa Island, this attractive condo for $257 per night is a great option for your next trip. This remodeled condo is located in Emerald Isle, a beachfront complex located on beautiful Okaloosa Island. This unit boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, multi-shower head shower, master bedroom w/king bed, a private bunk room and plush pullout queen sleeper sofa in living room. Our ground floor location and free reserved parking spot right outside the front door makes loading and unloading the car a breeze! Relax on the white sugar sand beach right out in front of the complex and enjoy the turquoise water which has become the hallmark of the Emerald Coast. Take a dip in the oceanside pool, play a couple sets of tennis, or go for a run on the beach. After a long day, fire up one of the poolside grills and throw a steak on the charcoal. Beach service is available but not included. We do provide chairs, umbrella, beach toys and a cooler that you’re welcome to use during your stay. If you have kids, they will enjoy the Gulfarium, putt-putt golf or fishing from the pier within a couple miles of your front door. There's something for everyone here at Emerald Isle. PLEASE NOTE - This unit does NOT offer a water view as it is on the ground floor; however, it is only 73 steps to the pool and beach entrance! The entire Emerald Isle complex underwent a $4 million renovation in 2016 and is one of the premier locations on Okaloosa Island. The nightlife of Destin is only a short 6 mile drive away and then come back to the quiet seclusion of Okaloosa Island at the end of a long evening. This condo was PERFECT for our July 2023 Girls' Beach Trip! From our initial contact thru our entire stay, the hosts were lightening-fast responsive and helpful with the questions we had and a couple hiccups (totally out of their control) that needed to be addressed. The inside of the condo was exactly as pictured on the website and has everything you might need during your stay. The kitchen is completely outfitted to cook your own meals. The hosts also offer a sizable list of restaurants they recommend. The bed was super comfortable! It was really convenient to use the provided beach chairs....and the beach really is less than 100 steps away! We would definitely recommend staying in this unit...Ben and Taylor will take care of you well.

Have been using vrbo for years this is the first property that the owner reached out by email to aske on the firsts day how it was going the only thing I can say is I want to rent again in September but they will be home lol was the best

Very clean and even though they live in the unit none of there things are in your way at all. Love that there is a pool and it is right on the ocean so it’s just a short walk. The manager is very nice and super easy to contact if needed and checked in to make sure things were good several times. Would definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Florida.

We had a great time! The condo was sufficient for our needs. Access was easy & convenient. Condo decor was charming. The only thing negative was the Keurig was broken & I only brought Keurig pods so I had to cut them open & use several in the traditional coffee pot but that was just a minor inconvenience. It was great being able to use the owners beach chairs & umbrella. The location was central to a lot of attractions. Overall I rate this condo 5 stars!

Beautiful Beach
Although this property was small and just big enough for our family of 5 (two being teens) it is on the bottom floor with a parking space right outside the door and that made it nice. No view of the beach, but just steps from the pool and beach made it worth it. Just FYI… parking is VERY tight so if you have a large vehicle be prepared.

It has everything you need in the kitchen BUT I must say my favorite part was the not one but 3 shower heads!!! The rain fall shower head was a nice touch. Owners of the condo were helpful and provided everything for a family with small children. Parking lot is tight especially if you have a large vehicle. Pool was small for the amount of people staying in condos. Location was good.

My family and I had a great time staying here! Erin was very friendly with responding to any questions we had! The condo was so nice! There is a Keurig and they leave you K cups and creamer to make coffee. The kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils you may need while there. You have a special code for your stay in order to get into the room so you don't have to carry around a key. The master has a king size bed which was SO comfortable. My two boys got to sleep in the bunk beds in the small room connected to ours. The shower was GREAT! There is also a pull out bed in the couch in the living roim

Very nice stay
Condo was perfect! The hosts were very helpful and kept us informed about some internet issues there but we were fine without internet. The walk to beach was so close compared to other places we've stayed. Very quiet at night no problems with neighbors. We will definitely keep this condo in mind for next time!

Excellent location and property...
We are regular visitors to Okaloosa Island and this was one of the best properties we have rented. Unit was very spacious with plenty of seating and fully stocked with all the small things you need for the beach.
Our daughter slept pretty well in the bunk bed area that connects the bedroom to the bathroom.
This is one of the few units we have been to which seem to have been decorated and stocked from the renter's standpoint. By that I mean there was plenty of seating, all of which was comfortable and functional, a very good cable package available on separate TVs, books and games and DVD, all of which were used.
Property owners were terrific with communication and the proximity to the beach and the pool (very nice) are literally steps away. That's important when you have a toddler and it was for us.
There is a Tom Thumb a very short walk away and Public and restaurants (including our all-time favorite Stewby's) literally down the street.

Mostly Great Stay!
First of all, the good--
Ben and Taylor were very easy to work with and super responsive. We stated in our original message that we were coming for a quick trip before our first child is born. They left us the sweetest gift and hand-written card! We couldn't be more appreciative. That was such a kind gesture.
Also, the location is fantastic. Easy access to the beach. The condo was accurately described and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking! The beach chairs were also great to have.
For the not so good--
We really could've used more towels and toilet paper. This could've just been us. The ice maker leaked on the floor the first night causing us to use several of the towels (I think the ice just got stuck in the ice maker). As for the toilet paper, two rolls were not enough for this pregnant lady over a several day period. So we had to do some laundry and buy some more TP during our stay.
I really hate to say this, but the condo could use a good cleaning. The sheets were clean on the main bed, but there was still some sand in it! Also, the pillowcases on the spare pillows had an odor and there was random piles of hair on the floor in the bathroom. Because of my snoring, my husband also thought about using the spare sofa bed, but it extremely firm and had several stains. He ended up in the bunk bed.
Other than those issues, we really enjoyed our stay.
