The position of the hotel is fantastic! Staff friendly and polite! Breakfast was fresh and tasty!
I contacted the reception in the afternoon as I needed to see a doctor. They could not recommend any doctor and also did not have a direct doctor who looks after hotel guests. Every good hotel should always have the contact details of a doctor or practice who looks after their guest - this is good service!

A very nice hotel in a great central location. Well equipped rooms, an elevator, a well-stocked bar and an excellent breakfast!
We did not know when we booked that the hotel does not offer dinner. Not a big issue, as there are plenty of excellent dinner restaurants nearby.

The hotel was in a wonderful location near the lake which was beautiful. The room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. I appreciated the bathtub.
We were surprised to not have room darkening shades/curtains in the hotel room. The bed had upholstered headboard, footboard and sideboard on 3 sides which meant that the person sleeping on the open side of the bed had to get out of bed to enable the person on the inside to get in and out of the bed. This was awkward. We were disappointed to learn at check-in that if we wanted to enjoy an a la carte breakfast that we were not able to use the hotel’s breakfast room. Instead we were directed to use the Ambassador Hotel’s restaurant across the street. In other European hotels that we recently stayed at the a la carte guests sat well away from the buffet.
