We stayed at Hotel Hiberia in May of 2025 and it was a great experience. From the front desk staff to the adjacent restaurant everyone and everything was great. We were spending two nights in Rome on the front and back end of a tour in Abruzzo. Again everything was great.
There was one staff member at the front desk on our last stay that seemed like he was not a happy camper. Apparently he was filling in for someone and he just wasn’t as friendly as other staff there always are.

-The location can’t be beat; you are close to everything.
-The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and go it of their way to do whatever they can, especially Raffaello and Antonio.
- The breakfast was small, but it was a great way to start the day.
- Someone scanned into my room on two occasions, without knocking, while I was alone inside. The first time I was getting dressed, the second time I was in the bathroom.
- There were leftover clothes in the closet cabinet, indicating it hadn’t been throughly cleaned.
- The WiFi was truly awful in the room. I had to buy extra GB on my phone to compensate for connection issues.
