Grandios. Wärmste Empfehlung. Wir kommen wieder.

Grandioses Hotel, tolle Ausstattung, schöner Garten mit Pool, reichhaltiges Frühstück (in Italien die absolute Ausnahme) und sehr nettes Personal, das in allen Lebenslagen (wir waren mehrere Tage krank) sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit war.

Nicht. Nur eine Dusche, die nicht ganz schloss. Nicht der Rede wert.

I regret staying at this hotel, it was too remote, staff was not helpful, and we felt uncomfortable.

the room size was good.

The bed was hard. The breakfast offerings were the same thing every day and that became boring. Also, I found a long hair in my cream croissant and the scrambled eggs were under cooked. The staff was not warm and friendly and that made me feel uncomfortable on the property. We arrived at the hotel at around 5 pm. The hotel folder stated that the bar offered sandwiches. When I asked for some sandwiches, a man told us he could only give us toast. We were told there were two restaurants within walking distance. we ended up going to both during our stay and the food left a lot to be desired. During our stay, we were caught in the cold and rain, and we called the hotel to ask if they would call a taxi for us. They refused. This hotel is not in a good location for walking.

El lugar es hermoso y tranquilo, muy relajante, el personal muy atento para ayudar a uno en todo momento. Lo recomiendo para unas vacaciones relajantes. La Habitación estaba separada del edificio principal.

Un séjour magnifique !

Très bel établissement dans un cadre magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses, très propres, très confortables. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse. Le parking est sécurisé.

Peut-être le petit-déjeuner qui peut être amélioré en qualité. Mais ce n’est qu’un léger détail. L’établissement est à 20, 30 minutes du centre à pieds. Attention le retour est pentu ! Mais c’est très agréable d’être au calme, donc là aussi c’est un détail.

Very good breakfast in beautiful porch setting overlooking pool. Relaxing lounge chairs in pool patio area. Helpful and courteous staff.

Somewhat inconvenient getting to central Firenze.

The perfect week in Florence

Stunning classic property with beautiful gardens, a perfect sized swimming pool, and the most perfect location to experience both quiet and explore the city. The hotel was perfect, there are incredible restaurants within walking distance, the staff are exceptional going above and beyond to meet your needs, we couldn’t have asked for more and would love to stay again.

Delightful stay in a parkland villa

Location set in parkland outside the bustle and heat of the city. Lovely swimming pool in the garden. Ample size of rooms and bathroom. Good aircon.

No safe for valuables in the room.

Wonderful high-end property in excellent location for visit to Florence

The staff was very helpful advising on transportation into Florence and for restaurants close by. The beautiful old mansion is located just outside of Florence with easy access into the city.

Breakfast wonderful Beautiful location although if you don’t walk well or don’t like buses it could be a problem Bus service good though and stop right outside hotel fabulous hotel

Fabulous hotel although I think the owner need to consider maintaining his plaster on the outside, the side wall where our room was is crumbling severely because of age, Also the plumbing is shaky, our water was orange with rusty pipes at one point The maintenance man did repair it and it was fine Maintenance of old property is costly and time consuming but the owners need to keep on top of it as I’m sure they are aware A fabulous hotel though thanks

I would recommend staying here.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The pool looked wonderful but we had cool rainy weather so we didn't get a chance to use it. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with a wonderful selection to choose from. It's a beautiful walk to the main centre of Florence which took us about 20-30 minutes but the walk back is steep so we often took the bus which stops in front of the hotel.

We stayed in room #208 and there was no wifi in the room. We had to go into the hallway to connect.

Beautiful Tuscan villa hotel set in the hills close to Florence

The location set in the hills close to Florence & the ambience of the Hotel as a Tuscan Villa. The reception & concierge staff were also very pleasant & accommodating.

The Annex room that we originally booked was too small & dark & located at the entrance to the property rather than in the main hotel - there were no photographs depicting this on the Booking.Com site for this property, which was misleading. As such, we had to pay an upgrade cost of 150 Euros per night to obtain a more acceptable room in the main hotel.

Superb

We were looking for someting more "authentic" - and not a standard hotel from the large hotel chains - and we got excactly that! The building and surrounding is beautiful and it is walking distance from the centre (especially down to the centre). Of course the way back is then uphill..

Although almost everything in our room was great, some things would require some fixing, like the wooden persienne to the terrass. It got stuck and the entrance to the terrass was therefore difficult.

Excellent choice to stay in Florence. 20 min walk from city center. Old-classy charm, nice rooms, quiet and green neighborhood. Nice garden with pool where you can relax and take drink if you like. Excellent breakfast.

Wonderful place, surrounded by a lush, well-attended garden; The natural shade here is 5-stars !

While the "Consolato di Svizzera" sign left on one of the buildings may be some sort of a sample of local humor or could have historical meaning remains to be determined, the Palace could have performed well this diplomatic function. The highlight for us was a generous, sophisticated breakfast on the terrace, while surrounded by a lavish, carefully tended garden that made you feel like a special guest in a botanical reservation. This palace sits in the exclusive area, perhaps even within the most luxurious side of Florence, filled with enchanting villas, where cultured nobility and patrons of the arts used to live (or maybe they still do).

Nothing to complain about, parking space could be limited, so an early check-in is recommended. Or use a taxi instead.

Beautiful place, just needs a little update

The position is perfect, beautiful elegant area. Walking path to the city is beautiful and the staff extremely kind and helpful. Parking on the sport for only 15 euro per day and breakfast was also pretty good.

The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant for dinner. One night my little one was too tired to go out for dinner so we ordered food at the hotel, but I was told that we had to eat in the room- we weren’t allowed to use the outdoor tables and garden which I think wasn’t nice. The little villa next to the main building where we stayed was very humid and we didn’t enjoy the shower curtains. I wish the bathroom could be updated a little to make it more comfortable.

Awesome place to stay in Florence, in a beautiful florentine Villa.

The room was comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped, and so the bathroom. The staff was kind and very helpful. The breakfast ("buffet") and the terrace were delightful ! It is possible to leave your car here (there are a few places inside the park) for the cost of €15/night, and you can purchase bus tickets at the reception (bus n°12 to Piazzale Michelangiolo or n°13 to Porta Romana). You can also reach the city center by foot (an approximately 30-minutes walk down to the Ponte Veccio area).

Incredible historic location, staff and the suite were beyond expectation. Breakfast offered here at the hotel is the best we've had included in a hotel stay, we'll worth the lurks extra.

The only thing that was, for myself was the location, speaking as a person with a very bad knee, is the taxi system or book a different hotel. Taxi is only 3-4 minutes away from the Giotto and only 15 - 20 euro. To Florence center.
