Disappointed.

Nice size room, staff were very friendly, comfy bed.

The food quality and selection. The opening times of the pool area,1030 was ridiculous. Not being advised in advance of scheduled work which meant the pools was closed for several hours.

Breakfast excellent. Pool good. Great cocktails.

Dinner very poor, poor food labelling, not hot enough and low quality - very disappointing. Evening entertainment for 5 days was either bingo or music quiz, very poor. No plug on Bath, took 2 days to get one.

overall it was good but could be great with a few tweaks.

the location and swimming pools were great rooms lovely loved the bingo

The staff were not responsive. we are asked for towels but nobody came. we wanted drinks at dinner, one lesson severing the whole room. we went to dinner at the Paella restaurant and waited 30 minutes to be served. overall the number and quality of staff needs to improve for the price being paid. especially all inclusive. clear daily activities for kids aged 10-14 would also be good as the staff do not seem to have exactly what’s on now or during the peak months. I was not able to rebook for August as they do not know what would be available for my kids. would like a thorough response on this before I choose whether to book a $4000 holiday for August 14th. let me know

Great place needing some improvements

Great position Very nice hotel with some low points

The hotel snack bar is awfully organized. The waiter did a total mess with our orders and almost gave me a meal with onion, after I asked plenty of times to avoid the ingredient. Once I had onion in the dish in my hands, asking if there was some, he firmly denied. I'm allergic, it could have ended very bad if I didn't notice. Another annoying note is that you don't expect to be a guest of such a hotel and pay for the hotel parking. I think they could avoid and make a better impression with a small effort.

A great place to relax and to explore Cabo de Gata national park from

Very friendly staff, beautiful sea view, rich breakfast buffet. We got there during a "rush-hour" of check-ins and were quite surprised that we had to queue, but within a minute someone came over to explain the situation (Spanish film awards were taking place that night and the hotel was full of film industry people). When we got to the check-in counter we were told we were upgraded to a suite, which was so nice our daughter refused to leave the next day.

Would definitely stay again

The staff were excellent. Our plans had to change due to unforseen circumstances and they could not do enough to help us, and booked us extra nights - without moving rooms! Our room was huge, and had a wonderful bath! Location is ideal and the hotel is very clean and modern.

Great venue, location and staff, let down by the food.ob

Staff were very professional, dignified and helpful. The room was great, the huge bed was very comfortable and there were indeed views of the sea. The building is very impressive. We liked the hot tub.

There was so much to like - what a pity that the food let it down. Particularly the meat. The fish may have been excellent, but I didn't try it. There wasn't really much choice, fish apart, but the meat cuts were poor and the meat was tough. Vegetables weren't kept hot either.

Lovely hotel

The wellness centre and its associated facilities etc were closed throughout my stay. The majority of pools were under maintenance throughout my stay. I was not informed about either of the above at the time of booking.

Great place and wished we had stayed longer

Great room! Bed was comfortable which made for a very restful sleep. The whole property was well maintained, did not look old or run down. Really enjoyed our stay and wished we had stayed longer.

Room large and comfortable. Pools, all were clean. Grounds well maintained. Food in the restaurant was good. Check-in and out was easy.

Very good

Hotel is very modern. Room was very spacious. As was the bathroom. Lovely big shower and separate bath. Swimming pools lovely.

Location...Retamar...there is nothing here at all. A few restaurants a 10 minute walk away. But nothing to write home about.... A visit to Retamar..don't bother Hitel restaurant is buffet...not my thing but may be for others..

The perfect place to say

A great hotel! The location was perfect. The breakfast was amazing. The amenities of the hotel are great. the pool fantastic. The kids club super fun. A great place for families.

The only thing I can think of that the hotel can improve is the labeling of the food at the breakfast. They would have the labels in the wrong places versus the food that it was related to. But again, I had to think hard about it. Everything was amazing.

For a one night stay very good .walked to beach which was directly at rear of hotel town to left

Last minute booking as our flight had been canceled for one night so didnt know anything about hotel .When we arrived hotel very good in all form reception very helpfull to restaurent,bar good choice .didnt have time to explore the area so cannot comment.

Not sure on this one as all good for us.Maybe in restaurent find some way of stopping birds flying in when eating

the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was great.

The property must consider to put more shaded areas by the swimming pool , the kind of shading provided at the moment does not keep you out of the UV rays of the sun, at the time with global warming and rising temperatures it is important to keep children and people safe. A few complete shaded places with the swimming pool and rest areas would make this hotel a great choice
