Nice location. Lovely staff. Friendly and attentive. The staff really made our stay fun and enjoyable.
Breakfast service a bit hit and miss. Property rooms more run down since we last stayed a few years ago. Needs a bit of TLC

Faded comfort. Could use a few upgrades but a beautiful location
Cleanliness

Fabulous location, very clean and comfortable. It had a lift which made life a lot easier being on the 2nd floor. Very dog friendly, all the staff we met were very helpful and friendly.
We paid £9.50 for the cooked breakfast, which was not freshly cooked, it looked like it had been kept warm for a while.

Building and grounds beautiful.
All areas dated and in need of decorating. Bar had no real beer choices. Restaurant had no traditional Scottish food, but instead a hugely overcomplicated confusing mish mash of Asian only. Staff nice enough. At breakfast the coffee was not much more than warm water - either the plunger had been pressed instantly or there had been next to no grounds in the pot - this was actually my instant reason not to order a cooked breakfast for an additional fee.
