Lovely room and unusual layout using space to a maximum which we found very interesting. Bathroom beautiful. Breakfast was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it with good gluten free options.

A very small complaint in that I did find the pillows a little firm for me.

Great place, amazing breakfast, free water at stage, comfortable bed
Very small room with sink in entrance hall, there is no place for clothes at all, only one coat rack

VJ on check out was very friendly and professional. If we had the same experience from other members of staff, this review would have a very different feel.
Check in wasn’t good at all. We arrived early and we were given room details, and told our room wasn’t ready, however they would email us to say when it was. We left our luggage and went into town. We waited for an email, I telephoned the hotel and had no reply, so left a message. At approximately 4.45pm ish we gave up and arrived at the hotel again. We said to the check in staff how we hadn’t been emailed to say our room was ready and could we please now have our room as it is now way past the 3pm check in time. We didn’t get an apology and was asked if we had any WiFi, they knew that I hadn’t even been sent the email. So not impressed at all. Although there was a great choice at breakfast, it was lukewarm warm at best, not good enough. Sorry.
