Superb

Staff were really friendly, helpful and accommodating. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere! 10 min walk to the beach.

It's a shame that they don't sell food as we would have quite happily of bought an evening meal there and relaxed in the garden rather than having to go into town.

Royal Oak

The location was good. Nice choice of beer and cider. Beer garden was nice.

We were put in room 5 as we had a little dog. Room 5 is right where the beer garden and patio is. There was a party going on and sick outside our door. We couldn't open the window due to the noise. The shower didn't work due to a tripped fuse.

Exceptional

Landlord and staff were fantastic 👏 Accommodation excellent We had 3 rooms for 9 of us. The top loft Accommodation was like a mini flat which 4 of us stayed The other 2 rooms fitted a comfort 3 and a double 2 100% Thank you for a great stop over Regards Mark

A great escape with lovely looking rooms and perfect location.

The room was warm and spacious. It was larger than I thought and separate from the pub so it wasn’t too noisy despite being Friday and Saturday night. Ideal location as close to beach and esplanade and also Tesco express and takeaway shops on doorstep.

It’s not that it was an issue. The bedroom was very clean. However there were some cobwebs in the bathroom.

Very good

The rooms were clean comfortable and spacious. Hotel in a good location. Staff were friendly. We didnt really get time to use the bar facilities or the garden but it looked lovely.

When booking there was no option to book a pet and the booking page was vague saying there "may be a small charge" I would prefer to book in my pet and know the exact cost at time of booking. It would have been amazing to provide a breakfast.

pub didn’t serve food but allowed us to eat food that we purchased else where. friendly staff. could be noisey at night

spotlessly clean. excellent heating fridge a big bonus. location great. Tesco. chip shop. kebab shop bakery all next door

shower was Broken but this could be sorted. poor pillows but this is often the case in many places wi fi practically non existent which was a disappointment

The noise from the room a above and also noise from the courtyard, people using the pub using bad language until quite late in the evening.

A good spot for a short stay in Weymouth

Comfortable room, excellent location, 20 minute walk to seafront and centre. A proper pub, popular with locals. The room was quiet, in separate buildings at the rear.

Unfortunately, no food facilities, but tea and coffee provided in rooms.

Location is good.

The downstairs room only had one window (next to the front door) which opened onto a public used outdoor area and if left open would give easy access to the door handle with no security latch.This meant we were not able to leave the window open for ventilation for risk of the room easily being broken in to. It was also very noisy with guests moving around upstairs. You could hear every footstep.

Landlord very Confrontational regarding an issue with a payment for our dog. The £10 was paid but he still came looking

Great location, bit smaller than expected

Location and price were great, fab to have bakery, tesco express next door and post office over the road

We didn't think there was enough space for 5, ( 3 adults and 2 teenagers ) the cracked floor tile in the bathroom was a bit dangerous. Swearing in beer garden at 2 am

Lovely stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Oak, our room was very clean and comfortable, special thanks to the bar manager Jenny doing a great job, also thankyou to Sandy and Kath locals that helped us with arranging plans around Weymouth introducing us to Tony the taxi driver who showed us around and told us places to go great character. Thankyou to each and everyone of you we will definitely be booking again. Paul, Sarah and our little Frankie xx
