The beachcomber

Bed was very comfy. Room had everything you could need, even a hot water bottle if you needed it, the hosts really have thought of everything. The room was very clean. Right next to the beach just perfect . Thank you 😁

Pleasant stay with very friendly staff 😊

The room was basic but nice and very clean and nicely set up upon arrival, had the usual tea making facilities for the morning wake up. The bed was firm but comfortable. The onsuite was a decent size with a good selection of towels. As you'd expect, there was a good choice of cereals/toast/cooked breakfast to choose from, all come with a friendly chat and smile. The location of the property is a bit out from the town center which is no problem but close enough to the beach.

The only thing I can say was the thin-ness of the adjoining walls. You could hear people snoring in the next room. What can you expect from a Georgian property though??

Beautiful Guesthouse, wonderful hosts and a very cosy stay by the sea.

The owners were lovely and very welcoming. The room was clean with great facilities. Very cosy blankets, comfortable bed and pillows. The towels were fluffy and absolutely loved the little coffee machine (a very nice touch). The colour scheme throughout was really nice. Lovely building with character. We would stay again and it’s well worth the reasonable price. We highly recommend staying here.

The water pressure in the shower was a little low but it wasn’t a major issue, it is an old building after all.

Brilliant quiet comfortable stay with great hosts and location.

Brilliant stay. Welcoming and friendly. Able to check in a little early which was a bonus. Lovely quiet room, beautiful uplifting quotes and photos across the B&B. Loved the coffee pods and quiet fridge. Breakfast made to order, great quality and plenty of it. Faced away from the road so I got to enjoy the sunset over the buildings and a road away from the beach so easy access to the sea and a beautiful sunrise. Quiet location with an easy walk to the town and train station. Great cold water swimming location felt safe as lots of locals keeping an eye out and even in October the toilets and little places to eat and grab a coffee were open along the sea front.

Self service toast could of done with some tongs. But otherwise fab!

Ideal location, very comfortable room.

Great hosts, lovely comfortable room, fabulous breakfast. Everything you could need was provided. Bed was large and very comfortable. Right on the seafront so walking along the beach each day was a delight. Best in room information pack I've seen. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was a bit small but perfectly adequate.

Nice 3 day break not spoiled by some pretty torrential rain

Room was comfortable and I actually appreciate not being disturbed for daily unnecessary cleaning. Breakfast was excellent

I have limited mobility so a room on the second floor was less than ideal but I managed and had not given prior warning to the hosts. I found Weymouth to be noisy from constant traffic but nothing to do with the Beachcomber

Top Weymouth Bed and breakfast.

The hosts were really nice and I was made to feel very welcome, the breakfast was fantastic and I could easily have spent the week. I've been staying in various Weymouth b+b 's for many years now, shame it took me this long to find this one. 😊 will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone . The little fridge in the room was a nice touch as well. 👌

Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. 😄

A lovely break for three days. Enjoyed the guest house and Weymouth.

The guest house was very convenient for the whole town. Breakfast was great. Parking facility was invaluable.

There was nothing to dislike.

Disappointed with our stay, could easily have been better, facilities have potential

Great location, owners easy to contact and communicate with.

Parking is a bit complicated, cars need to be moved around so guests can come and go when they wish. We spent 3 nights, didn’t have hot water in the en suite for the first 2, fixed for the last night but it was then scalding hot. We weren’t offered any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. The rooms are well equipped but some of the surfaces weren’t very clean, perhaps to be expected in small cluttered spaces.

Welcoming and rooms planned with care

The single room was fabulous. Lots of storage space so you unpack and not feel at all cluttered. Very well planned. Julie and Ray were super hosts and made me feel very welcome.

Very enjoyable stay - felt well looked after - will use this guest house again.

Very clean room, comfortable beds, plenty of towel and toilet rolls, good breakfast and very friendly hosts. The guest house is also only a short walk, 10 minutes, to Weymouth town and only 4m from the promenade. On site parking but this may get full in peak season.

Accessibility to your car once on the car park. There are only 6 parking spaces in two rows of three so you may be blocked it. Our host worked to ensure everyone could get their cars in and out as required and in off peak season when we stayed this did not prove to be a problem. Please note having onsite car parking is good for Weymouth so the accessibility issues should not be seen as a negative for this guest house.

The three rooms on the top floor consist of a double bedroom, living room, and toilet/shower. Breakfast was very good, cooked perfectly. The location is just off the seafront.

Location just nice walking distance. First floor room was spacious and well presented. Everything you could need was supplied in room. Owners friendly, helpful and only a txt away. Would stay again if in weymouth
