Lovely staff, gorgeous food, relaxed eating in lounge with dog, comfy bed, lovely hot water, great setting for walks, log fires, warm rooms, old-fashioned bar billiards game.
We loved everything.

It was perfect for my wife's 60th birthday. Room was very nice, bed comfortable. All meals were very good. Staff were excellent.

Very comfortable bed.
The property isn’t a castle - it is a manor. Was expecting a castle with all the trimmings and ended up with oversized house. Only booked as description said it was a castle. Actually travelled out of our way to stay there - was quite disappointed.

Dinner was on a small coffee table at reduced cost, full breakfast was poor
