Great location but the house could do with some improvements

The location of the accommodation is perfect, right next to the winetram and close to the centre of Franschhoek. The check-in was easy and convenient

The kitchen facilities were not up to standard. The electric stove was really not fit for purpose and even cooking some pasta was impossible. In addition, from the pictures it doesn't become clear that you are sharing the pool with other guests and that the outside space is not private. Both of these points should be communicated better

Comfortable and convenient stay - highly recommend

Laurel Cottage was a fantastic base for exploring Franschhoek. We had three rooms between 6 of us - tons of space and we loved the living room area for chilling in. Unfortunately, our time was really rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor areas but the location was fab for exploring the main street and for getting on the Wine Tram. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were great and spacious, as well as excellent bathrooms. Parking was easy too - definitely recommend.

Nice cottage in lush garden, close to the Winetram.

A large and pleasant room, the kitchen has everything to prepare a light meal. The bed was comfortable. Nice garden with splash pool. Close to the wine tram, grocery store and restaurants. Short walk to the town centre with shops.

A very small fridge. The room lacked air conditioning, but it was an ok temperature for the most part.

It was such a cosy place, very well equipped and comfortable. Close enough to walk into town. The pool was also really nice.

Very bad check in service. Owner very confused and we had to wait for over 30 min to get a key

There is no card facility for payment. We had to go draw cash in a strange and unfamiliar place.

thoroughly enjoyed meeting Pinky and Norman ho made our stay special

very close to the wine team terminus and easy access to the town and restaurants

it needed some tender loving care. the owners need to think about upgrading the paintwork especially the outside windows and doors

1. It was really cold in Franschhoek, so the fact that the bed had an electric blanket on it (& the oil heater) were a pleasant surprise. 2. The room was cosy & clean & the bed was very comfortable. 3. Good central location.

1. The toilet wasn't working 100% - the water kept running when we flushed. 2. I also think a nice touch would be to have those milks in the small carton boxes (long life) - there is tea & coffee, but no milk. We went to buy milk, so it's not a big deal, but it would've been convenient.

A very good location (right next to the wine tram, and supermarket), and nice spacious house. There is a small pool in the back (quite cold when we stayed in April :), but still fun to dip).
